Checking in to say Hi. Seems like everyone is starting on a new round of P2. Not sure if I will or not I want to but not ready to commit just yet. I'm thinking loading May 5th. I have stabilized at 188.3. I do feel like I'm retaining a lot of water. Has anyone tried the catolope correction day? I just read about it and am curious. Off to take a walk before the rain today. Have a great day everyone and stay on your plan as a cheat is NOT worth it.

Hello and welcome Oto !
I think you are doing great Adeleine, like Shirley said look at your averages. Enjoyed your pics Dawn. I have not tried the cantelope day. I am still maintaining at 2 lbs under my ldw. It probably sounds weird but i can't wait to get back on p2 - this seems harder for me. Where the heck are you Denise ?? |

Welcome to all newbies!
Adeline, I would not do a correction day for only a .2 gain. Correction days on P2 are for stalls lasting 4 or more days, I believe. YH, I am hanging in there but not doing well the past few days. Ugh. Hope you are doing well on P3. I know it is hard after having such a structured P2. |

This R2 P1 D2 for me. Tomorrow I start VLCD. I'm going to try to stay with it for 60 days. I don't know if I'm ready for this, but there's no turning back now. I gained at least 10 lbs loading!!! But I feel that I loaded properly this time around. I wonder how long it will take just to get back to where I was a couple of days ago.
I'm kinda excited. I love weighing myself and being down .5 to 1 lb every day. There's no greater motivator than that. I hope to get into the 160's this round. Just think that in a couple of months I will be there. I wonder what size clothes I will fit into? It's fun to ponder over. |

I am up a pound since Fri. but still under my last dose weight. I am struggling with this P3 - i know i can eat more protein and veggies BUT i don't like the weight creeping back up. I also felt better when i took the hcg. Now last nite i had pork ribs and sauerkraut and a pound up today. I was not good with the water this weekend. I guess i could stick close to p2 foods and have more but i know i need to introduce new foods....i don't think the almonds are working out too good for me either.

Adeline, your losses are not small. I think the average loss on P2 is .5 to 1 lb per day and you seem to be right on target!
YH, I know what you mean. I think my last P3 really messed me up because I did not have any structure. I do best when I make up a menu and stick by it, otherwise I go hog wild in P3 and then I can't even get into P2. Sauerkraut -- you are probably retaining water from eating that. I bet you will be down tomorrow.I have my head in the game today. Weekends are so hard for me as both my husband and I love to cook. My son is coming over tomorrow night for supper but he is on a diet and we are grilling, so it will be easier for me to stay on plan. |

Oh and YH, if you really want the almonds, measure them out and put into little baggies so that you don't have the whole can sitting there to dip into. Almonds are good but they are high in calories. Did you figure out your BMI so you know where to keep your daily calorie range at while in P3??

Well, VLCD#1 was a success. I am down 2.2 lbs!!! But I also have double ear infections, a sinus infection and am all clogged up with allergies. I am a hot mess LOL. I am on antibiotics and hope I can still lose just fine. We shall see. Not good to start a P2 on TOM or when not well. I hope this doesn't set the tone for this P2. I really need this to work. I hope everyone had a fantastic Monday!!!

So how is everyone doing?? Seems awful quiet in here!
I'm doing good this week. Had a slight off-plan meal but it didn't seem to affect me other than no loss/gain for a day, so I'm happy! Down another 2.5 lbs today. That's 6.5 lbs since Sunday! |

How are your menus, YH? When I did really good on P3, I tried to eat similar P2 foods, only with some additions. Like P2 chili but on P3, I added cabbage along with the tomatoes, and also a dollop of sour cream on top. Made for a thicker, creamier chili. Bunless cheeseburgers were a big staple of mine too. And rotisserie chicken (although check to make sure the store you buy it from doesn't add sugar) was great. I could just pick on the chicken for several meals and make salads, lettuce wraps, dip in Ranch dressing or hot wing sauce, etc.
Oh and a good P3 dish for hot weather -- I just made this the other day -- mock potato salad using cauliflower instead of potatoes. My family loved it! Okay I better stop since I am still on P2 and can't have any of that!! ![]() |

You are right- i figured that one out after week 1 - like tonite i will have a double serving of P2 chile
I have figured out that i need to keep eating fish. I stopped it and my body does not like that - so more shrimp and cod i guess forever. Last nite bf was grilling cheesburgers and i thought well let me see what happens if i eat the bun.....well a pound up is what happened this am My theory of testing p3 with a starch and or sugar has always resulted in a gain even if i am below 1000 calories. |

Oh yeah, no sugars or starches. That is the main rule of P3 and yep, I always have a gain too if I eat any. Plus, I feel so much better if I cut out the starches. I just wish I didn't love them so much!!!

It only took 4 days to lose the 10 lbs I gained from loading! I know the losses will slow up now, but I'm so happy that it came off so easily.
