on your losses ! Missed everyone yesterday-hope you are ok. I dont really know about the hhcg drops issue as i do the injections but those stay in your system for 3 days. At this point i was told to skip 1 a week now. I will have a challenging week as my grandson is in town but i will bring my ditty bag with me everywhere. Preparing for the week was such a relief, just grab and go. BF went to dinner last nite and i just don't go with-i won't subject myself to that situation if i don't have to and it would be uncomfortable for me. The 2 day stall has broke, i am down 1 lb. The pants are getting very loose too ! I resolved my obsessive scale issue. Friday: L: P2 chile and strawberries D: Cabbage and cod, frozen apple slices ![]() |

Good morning and Happy St. Patrick's Day to everyone!!
Congrats on your losses, YellowHair and 2bfit!! YH, so you drop your injections down now? I don't know anything about injections but that's the first I've heard of decreasing the injections. Interesting. Or do you mean you are entering P3??? My youngest son came home from college yesterday for Spring break. This will be a very difficult week for me diet-wise, but I'm so happy he's here! I will just try to do the best possible and not stray too much!! ![]() |

New to this
Hi guys
!I know, I know I am really late but wanted to join you guys. I have had my intermountain hcg drops for a while but I am some what overwhelmed by the transitioning process which has me a little nervous about starting. Not necessarily the eating part but more so what lotions to use etc. I decided to finally start tomorrow. I am excited and thought if I joined you guys the transition will be smoother. I would like to do P2 for 24 days!! Look forward to losing some pounds with yall! |

Well... 3 days since I've been on the scale because of being out of town, but I stayed on track. I'm down merely .5 in those 3 days... but we did a ton of walking in Sea World, and I even went with my boys up the climbing nets and through the tunnels in Shamu's Happy Harbor. My body got a bit of a workout and my muscles are still sore, so I bet I'm retaining some water from that... at least I hope so! That was torture to walk past the BBQ rib place and all those people with giant turkey legs and just have my little leftover pieces of cold steak...

Hi... I've been following you guys and want to join!
This is my first time doing HCG so I would love the support. Today is my first day of the VLC... and I'm really hungry right now... but I'm chugging down the water to fight it! ![]() Here's my menu for today: B: Coffee, Water L: Chicken Breast, 1/2 Cucumber in Apple Cider Vinegar, 3 large strawberries D: Beef Strips, 1 Cup of Green Salad (no dressing - that was interesting) I'm saving my dinner fruit to fall back on once the water stops working .I'm open to any tips and advice... Thanks so far for the great info you've been posting! Can't wait to get on the scale in the morning! Last edited by BrandNewMe; 03-18-2012 at 04:14 PM.. |

Yeah... dressing-less salad doesn't quite work for me either. I tend to prefer cooked veggies - cabbage, spinach, asparagus... I season them with salt and either garlic powder or onion powder. Those are my favorite veggies. You also might try having some veggies in homemade broths. |

Hello !
You did great at SeaWorld (i think)-that was a big challenge. I had to laugh because i intentionally did not go to the Renaissance festival because of seeing people with the turkey legs I concur with you on the vegetables- a couple cups of lettuce is not as filling for me as the cooked veggies. I boiled my head of cabbage yesterday and threw in a chicken boullion cube-wow-that helped D Brand new me-welcome, i was very hungry the first few days but i don't think i loaded properly-i just ate things i loved for two days-like it was my last meal before the execution of p2. Too many carbs. Essa-the potion lotions deal i dont like either. I bought some oil free shampoo, cream rinse, body lotion, and cornhuskers. I have basically stopped my face routine as i use alot of oils in those. Whether it makes a difference or not as far as weight loss i really don't know....I have worn zero makeup since i began.Sunday: I did not get all the water in this weekend - took 1 detox bath Lunch: cucumber, apple Dinner: Xtra cod, asparagus Down .6 ![]() Last edited by yellowhair11; 03-19-2012 at 02:56 AM.. |

Good morning all and welcome to the new folks!
BrandNew... I think you may be going too light on the veggies. A half a cup of cucumber isn't enough. When I eat cucumber I weigh it and I'm usually eating 1 and a half or 2 of them. I don't do lettuce but I would be surprised if it's only 1 cup you can eat. Just a thought. I went a bit off plan this weekend. I'm usually a very strict protocol-er but this weekend my friends came into town and we went out for St. Patty's Day. I'm kind of feeling good because it was a planned "stray" but I think I did very well. I was still very careful and didn't go nuts. I'm up 2 lbs and I'm ok with that. Back to strict protocol and I don't see any more straying in my future. I'm on my 20th day and feel like I can do this for a couple more weeks. I actually like eating this way. I never thought I would be able to say that. The down side to my cheat is that I am more hungry now than usual, but it's not the end of the world. Hope you all have a great, hunger free, weight dropping day! |

I'm down -5.4lbs today from yesterday
I'm sure it's water weight, but I'll take it! IThinkICan, Thanks for the welcome and the tips... I'm going to drink some green tea today. The hunger actually wasn't that bad, so I think I'm going to be OK... we'll see how today goes ![]() Yellowhair, Thanks for the welcome... Yep, I ate everything I love on those two load days... lol. Next time, I'll do more healthy fats instead of all the carbs. 2bfitb440, Thanks for the tip... Yeah, when I put all of my food for yesterday into Spark People, I was a little less than 500 calories for the day... So I will up the veggie intake. |

Good morning and welcome to those joining us!
Glad to see everyone is doing so well. I had a bad weekend and I know it will take me a few days to recover. It is tough having a college kid home for spring break!! I love having him here, but the food not so much! ![]() I have one more meal to get through tonight (my older son is coming over for dinner and we're making grilled reubens with the leftover corned beef) and then I will be 100% back on plan. I agree on the veggie talk. With lettuce and cucumbers especially, I would not even weigh or measure. They are so low in calories. 1 or 2 whole cukes or a big bowl of lettuce is fine. |

A time the scale drops over 5 lbs in 24 hrs you should be ecstatic! Don't expect it to keep happening like that, but be thrilled you started with a big whoosh! Awesome, BrandNewMe!
So after losing just .5 in 3 days, I just lost .6 since yesterday. Thank goodness! Now I hope it keeps coming off... My body often likes to stair-step down, but I think a gentle slope down would be more easy on my nerves... Really hoping to keep a fairly steady half-pound loss per day. Now I'd you'll excuse me, it's Tea Time. Boy, that makes it sound like I need some finger sandwiches or scones too... I promise, it's just tea! |

I've still got 9.8 lbs til goal... I'm 2 weeks in. If I could lose around 3 lbs/wk, that means perhaps a little over 3 weeks left. If 2.5 lbs/wk, than 4 weeks left. If I lose less than that weekly, then... well... it takes longer! Let's hope things speed up a bit though!

Hello!!!
Just restarting HCG again. i've struggled stayin faithful in the past but i looked at myself and i decided it was time to stop playin games with it and just make it thru 21 days and then i will have built up enough resistance to keep going. I only need to do one round, and even if i need to do another i probably wont! I started at 178 back in 2010 and have yoyo'd on other diets from there to 149. I started 3/7/2012 at 165.2. and i'm on VLCD12 and i'm at 152.8. i'm really going by my shape as to where i want to be. Hope everyone has great losses! Shaleka |

![]() It's hard to figure out how to count before or after load... for most of us, it's much more dramatic to count after load, and I guess I communicate that to others more. In my own mind, I count before load, unless I need a pick-me-up. Quote:
Looks like you've gotten off to a great start - and you're at the weight I hope to be at in a week or so! We're really close! ![]() |

Welcome everyone and get back on the P2 wagon those who strayed ! I know it is difficult with things going on, visitors, events, etc. heck..it is hard regardless
I had a gain of .6 so I don't know whats up with that. Mon: Lunch-P2 chile, orange Dinner-Cabbage and chicken I have not been weighing my veggies, its 3.5 oz right? i will start doing that. I do weigh the meat, fish, and p2 chile portion. At this point i would be happy with an average of 1/2 lb per day. |

Well I've made a hard decision, since its impossible for me to stay OP (strict Dr. S) w/ Dh wanting to eat out or have food in the house not OP (I have NO willpower) BUT since I bought 2 bottles of drops, I'm going ROUGE
Drops + eskimo diet similar to the MEC diet (meat eggs cheese) almost a 360 from only having 7 oz of meat a day to not having less than 7oz at a meal! wish me luck!! |

Jilley - love stuffed cabbage rolls! That feels like a real meal and not just diet food. Another favorite of mine is cooked spinach mixed with ground beef and seasoned with just onion powder and salt. My mom and I both love that!
I'm down another .5 this morning... staying on a good pace! |
