LOL... I think we've all been there at some point. Don't worry. It takes 2-3 days of no drops for it to actually leave our system, remember?

I remember telling myself to take my drops last night, but I couldn't remember if I actually followed through! I woke up at 3 something and shot up thinking, did I take my drops? I couldn't remember, so I took 'em right then, just in case. Hubby forgot his second dose yesterday afternoon... and my mom forgot her first dose yesterday morning! We all do it!

Hi All! It looks like everyone is chugging away dropping those pounds! That's great. I lost .4 today. Had a super busy weekend. I bought one of those steam cleaners for the bathroom tiles, floor, and basically everything and cleaned with it all weekend. It works great! I was glad that I was doing a bit more physical activity than usual. Thought maybe I would burn a lil extra fat. On Saturday I worked through the day so much that I forgot to eat lunch. I did have a regular dinner of 250 calories. The next day and felt terrible, weak, tired, etc. Won't ever skip a meal again. The losses are coming... Would like it a lit faster, but it's ok.

Everyone is doing so well You are such an inspiration ! I felt pretty good yesterday and stayed away from the tube last nite and took the flock to doggie park. By the time i got home and showered and ate it was bedtime so i did not have to dwell on having a grissini for long I think i do better staying away from those.
Mon:
Lunch: chicken, cucumber, 1/2 grapefruit
Dinner: P2 chile
Loss of 1.8 - so cool to have a scale now that weighs in ounces. a couple oz. loss is better than seeing the same number day after day mentally.
I started this round as a 26 day one but i see some do longer ones -40 day-i am thinking at this point to extend to the 40 day round. I feel i can mentally and physically do it with your help and support of course. This way of eating is such a drastic change for me ( i use to eat fruit all day ) and even tho i dont know anything about p3 yet i don't think it will be much easier for me than this P2. If i extend i will have to pick up more injections today as i have an appt. at the clinic. Ok you experts - what do you think ?

Wow Yellowhair! A loss of 1.8. That's excellent!

I'm down .4 today. Would really love a big loss right now. I'll keep plugging away, it will come. Need to get in more water in... UGH

Good morning!

I say go for it, YellowHair. One good thing is that you don't have to do the entire 40 days if you don't want. As long as your round is a minimum of 21 days, you can stop anytime after that. So if you've had it by day 30, you can end it. I did one long round and yes, it is very hard, but like I said, anytime after day 21, you can stop and work your way into P3. Congrats on your loss!!

2bfit, congrats on your loss too!!

Accountability check in 9 pounds down first week.

Feeling good but know I need to work on the water I'm not drinking enough!
Wondering what this 2nd week will bring....
B- tea
L-p2chilli
D- spinach strawberry shake I keep reading about.
Water water and hopefully more water

I tried the spinach chips. They were good for a little crunch but once in mouth they dissolved really quick.

I do love the parmasean chips but they are p3. So I must wait....

Whats on everyone's mind today?

good morning ladies finally a smile on this girls face! i was down 2 lbs today back to 146.8 (scale kept jumping from .6 to .8 so im going with .8) from going back to the basics a la week 1. so im continuing on with my apple/grissini for snack, chili for lunch, and orange ginger chicken for dinner. all week here's hoping for a good loss tomorrow!

what is everyone doing for st pattys day on p2? my parents are coming over for corned beef and cabbage, potatoes and carrots so im not sure how im going to swing it. the cabbage is there...but the beef tends to be pretty fatty. ideas? i transition to no drops on mon/tues so wed with p3 at least ill have a supply of meat and veggies! and ill be sending the potatoes home with mom and dad of course i just dont want to end my last day on pellets with a bad experience.

Keepingcupsfull, congrats on a good week of losses!

I'm down 1 lb today so I guess the forgotten drops yesterday didn't hurt me any.

Today's menu:

B-black coffee
L-shake
D-P2 chili
S-apple

Congrats on your loss, Abby! I am not a huge fan of corned beef but the rest of the family is so I'll cook a boiled dinner on Saturday and maybe just nibble a little on the corned beef and fill up on the cabbage.

I gained .4 today. Maybe not enough water. I don't know. No big deal, I'll just keep going.
I see nice losses today! Yayyyy! You all rock P2!
I'm not doing anything today but watching my 9 mo old granddaughter (she lives w/ us, along w/ my daughter). She helps me to forget the pain I feel in my back & legs. Being a gramma is the best!

Hello all!!!!! Well its been today is day 7 of the VLCD and the results are in!!!.... 10 lbs Ive lost exactly 10 pounds. Today I was only down .2 which was just enough to get me to that 10 pound mark. I have to admitt that I was feeling discouraged and sorry for myself this morning. I am very proud of that 10 pounds but with my losses the past 3 days being .6, .4, then .2 I couldnt help but worry that the losses will stop all together. I dont want to follow on that same trend. Before I left home in my moment of feeling sorry I took 2 of my daughters fruit gummies and ate them. I felt terrible. It was just 2 but I really felt like I did something terrible. I have been very strict this entire time.
But after I got to work I had my apple and tea and felt tons better! I cannot quit and throw in the towl every time things get tuff. I need to see this through and hopefully tomorrow will be a good loss and I will be in the 150's again!!! YAY!!!

B: Melba and apple and tea
L: Asparigus and grilled chicken
D: tailapia cabbage and orange and melba.

VLCD Stats.
1. 170.0
2. 166.6
3. 164.6
4. 162.4
5. 161.2
6. 160.6
7. 160.2
8. 160.0

Doh... gained back yesterday's loss... up .4 lbs. Not terrible... was due for something to hover in the same general area since I lost about 3 lbs from the two days prior. Of course, I did have the cottage cheese 2 days ago... 2-day effect? I don't know. Maybe I would have been the same way today even if I'd had chicken or beef instead of the cottage cheese that time. I'm not gonna sweat over it and just see what happens on the scale tomorrow.

On a different note, I had this general feeling of thinness last night... perhaps after losing a bunch of bloaty water weight? I don't know. But then I had this fabulous dream where I looked in the mirror and did this double take, thinking is that really me? Whoa! I had a white semi-fitted sundress on that totally flattered my slimmed down body. (And not so slim in the places where one doesn't want to slim down... ) Weird, since I don't normally wear dresses... nor do I normally wear white... but I was absolutely feeling wonderful in that dream!

Now... working on making that dream a reality... that dress better be on sale...

Exactly this ^^^

As long as you do the minimum, you can go longer but can stop before the 40 days. I admit that 40 days is long, but if you are on a roll, I say go for it Sometimes P2 is hard to start back up once you get those delicious foods in ya.

Great Losses Everybody!! Not sure what is happening to me, I seem to be stalling. I am trying to not let it get the best of me, but I can't help thinking that If I have to struggle for 3 more pounds (down 17 so far), is this worth it? I don't want to do this for another week if all I get is 3 pounds!

Help! I need some motivation to keep this going!!

After looking back at records from previous rounds, I'm kicking myself for the times I backed off before hitting certain mini-goals... could've made it so much easier down the line with less left to lose! Also, there's that chance of stabilizing a few pounds up, so I'm making my goal a few extra pounds off of where I really am just hoping to get to.

You can do it! 3 lbs in one week... other diets say you'll lose 1-2 lbs in a week. If you lose 3, it's so much better! Just keep swimming! Go, go, go! (And please be around to knock some sense into me when I want to give up too!)

Strong! Real strong!

How are you supposed to turn down Girl Scouts selling cookies? I mean, come on! (It's such a shame that these innocent little creatures could be one of the reasons behind the obesity epidemic in this country...) Find those skinny people with fast metabolisms to take 'em off your hands... you can secretly hope to see them add some insulation to their bodies with each box...

Think of how far you have come. Don't give up now. 17 is great! YOU have done terrific. If you only loose 3 more... So what it's more than you will loose if you give up plus the extra pounds you will gain. Dig deep and stay on plan. You can do this. It's not easy by any means but so totally worth it. I've been where you are so I know how you feel. It's not fun. There are days that will not look good on the scale know your body is changing.

I was 250 I'm now 194.5 thanks to hhcg. I need to stay focused everyday and believe me I still
Dig deep everyday to do the best I can. Take it meal by meal and think about why you started this plan.....is that your motivation?

Sending strength to you

I was down .4 this morning. After maintaining yesterday, I was happy. I have twin grandsons, and bought them M & M's today. That wasn't so bad, but when I took them out of their car seats, 4 of them were laying in the seat of one. Oh, I wanted those 4 beautiful M & M's!!!! 4 could not hurt that much, could they?? But, I threw them in the trash and went inside with the boys.

Great for resisting those m&m-surely not worth it ! I stare at a box of girl scout thin mints every time i open the frig I am going to tell bf to eat them or i will be tossing them soon - i told him to keep all the treats out of my sight for now tchshelli- you have done great- 17lbs is no joke-of course it is worth it. Granted i have less to lose(but i have been up there) my average is 1/2 lb per day so far-sure i would like more but i have to factor in my age also, the older you are the harder it gets-i will be turning 60 in May and have all sorts of ailments to boot..listen to Granny Yellowhair. I look at it this way-
My last diet was WW-in order for me to lose 1-2 lbs a week i had to exercise-ALOT-much more time was invested and i can't exercise like that anymore-and i did not always lose weight weekly.
Thank you Denise and Dawn-i took your advice and bought some more injections-you are absolutely correct-i can stop the extended round early if i choose so i have nothing to lose except weight-i think of this diet on a day by day basis-that helps me. I am down 1 lb today.
Tues:
Lunch-chicken, cucumber, orange
Dinner- shrimp and cabbage stir fry
I got measured yesterday-14.5 inches since i began this round-only 2.5 in the belly but thats ok.

Congratulations ladies!!! Everyone is doing great!

My HCG experience has been enlightening for sure. I am eating lots of fat, so I don't want to torture you all with my meals. I will starting a journal should anyone want to follow me there.

WTG on all the losses!

Hopeful... That's funny and very nice that you're not posting your yummy (fat) foods menu. It's funny because I feel I'm doing well with my appetite and stuff but I do have a hard time hearing about great food. I say out of that p3/p4 thread for that very reason.

I am new to this site and just absolutely love all the positive feedback and encouragement I see given. I am in 1 week into phase 2 and have lost a total of 7lbs..162 now 155. Being this is a hormone does anyone know if we will still getting our monthly? I sure hope thses pounds keep shedding off!!
