hey everybody!! Stayed the same this morning holding at 124.8 so I'm cool with that cause my kids' sunflower seeds looked so good and I felt guilty (even though it was like 5 kernels lol) I woke up thinking of those dern seeds! 16 hours or so away from p3 and bacon!!!

Do you guys ever have a day when you're SURE you'll be up the next day? That was me last night. I just KNEW today would be my first up day.
I still lost .2 Not as much as I had been, but it was still a loss. I'm SO SHOCKED this actually works. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. I keep waiting to wake up and be 171 again. I'm so nervous that I've been so lucky that when I'm NOT lucky I'll be devastated. I'm on VLCD 10 today, and down a total of 13.6lbs (12.4 from pre-load weight). Even if I don't lose another ounce from here till day 23, I've hit at least the 'average' loss for women. That scares me! I know stalls happen. I know gains happen. I also know how easily I give up when that happens, lol. But, to be fair, I've never experienced these kinds of losses BEFORE the gains and stalls, so I'm hoping thats enough to keep me on track. Hope everyone is doing well! Oh! Also, changed my dose to 3/2/3 and that seemed to help a lot. I will probably keep that up!

Your doing awesome lumina! Yes, it will slow down, and maybe go up a little. It does pass, if you just keep with the program. Keep it up!
I'm VLCD25 today, and FINALLY broke my stall!!! After 6 days of 132.something I'm down -2.6 to 129.4. Wow!!! So happy!!! Hope everyone else sees nice losses today! Have a great Friday, the weekend is here! |

Lumina - I know what you mean about waiting for the other shoe to drop. My first round I think I spent the whole time in amazement that I was losing weight so fast and without effort! This really does work, and it's amazing.
Doing It Right - So glad for you! Those stalls are a pain, and so mentally taxing. Well, I weighed in the same this morning. But I guess that means I've locked in 120.6. 6 dosing days left... Fingers crossed! |

Down 0.6 lbs this morning which makes it an even 10 lbs on VLCD#12
I feel like I could be losing more, I've been slacking on my liquid intake. Also I went and got some groceries last night so I can make some tastier dinners and hopefully that will help me stay motivated and on track. |

Down .5 today, which is a total of 1.5 for for first 3 days of VLCD... I keep trying to tell myself that down is down, but I was really hoping for some big numbers during the first week, and I'm worried that this means it's going to be a VERY slow round. I miss jumping out of bed in the morning and being 2-3 pounds lighter!
I've seen other people post about how being close to goal weight makes the losing slow way down. How close, exactly, do most people get before it gets really hard to lose? And is any goal considered acceptable? (Mine is 10 pounds below my high school weight, and I have 20 to lose in order to be there). |

happy friday everyone! not sure what happened overnight but i was down 2.2 today! im keeping as strict as possible to protocol, not skipping my fruits like last round and have only missed one grissini. i think that is making a difference this time around! i'm really loving the beef chili and orange-ginger chicken recipes so i've been alternating between those. tonight im having tilapia so, we shall see!

![]() 18 pounds total. I would really like to lose 7 more before Wed. ..... not sure that is possible. But it doesn't hurt to try! I wore some jeans last night that I haven't had on in a year! Still a little tight but....I got them on! LOL |

Everybody is different. My round 2 I flew down to goal in 21 days, with no stalls. This time, I'm trying to re-lose that same weight to get down to where I was... It's not working the same. It's been a ridiculously slow round. I'm on day 34 and down 17 pounds. I think I'm in the middle of my 3rd stall this round. I have 6 days left to go till ldw and still over 2 pounds away from goal. I'm 5'6" and goal is 118. I have a very small frame, tiny bone structure, and this is the weight I was all through high school and up till my first pregnancy, so I know it's not too light for me. So I guess my answer is, it depends... Not much help, sorry! ![]()

Third day at 132.2. Guess it is a stall - or will be tomorrow - as it is TOM and I ate way too much, although generally P2 foods. I will be lucky to be at 132.2 tomorrow.
Doing it Right - way to go! I am pulling for you. Wmac- doesn't it feel great to "get back into" your clothes! I love that feeling. Keep it up! Abby1983- I need to go look up those recipes. I really love chili and didn't realize it could be P2 friendly. Hcground1 and Mshistory- It is true that when you have very little left to lose, it is more difficult to lose, for many reasons, including that your body's caloric needs are lower. I would say the last 5-10 are really the hardest. I don't know what you guys weighed in high school, but that does sound to me like a very light weight to set as a goal. But as Hcground1 said, everybody is different. I weighed about 125 in hs and my goal is 128. But I now carry more muscle than I did then, and I think that feels right for me. It is my own personal muffin top test I guess! |

Leona- sure hope your stall breaks today!!!
Kari, MsHistory ,Abby,wmac- you are still doing great! Keep it up! Drew- sorry you sts- but looks like this has been your best week so far! Hope it moves today! Beezy- stalls suck! Hope the scale is nice this morning, but if not hang on it will happen! I'm down -1.0 today! Woo hoo!!! My -2.4 yesterday stuck and took 1 more!!! (this after a 6 day stall). That makes -25.4 in 26 days, Happy Dance going on here! Stay strong this weekend girls, you won't regret it! Have a great day! |

Ok, there is nothing more frustrating than a scale on the fritz during P2!!! Ughhh!! What do I do?! I just replaced the battery, and it's a fairly new scale. But I can weigh one time, then weigh again and have 2 totally different numbers, ugh!
Good thing today though, both numbers were down, yay! DoingitRight - almost 26 pounds in 26 days, yippee!!! hcground1 & beezy - thank you for the input! I think my goal is the "ok this is a totally crazy goal, but would be awesome to reach", and if I make it to 10 pounds above, I will still be happy, you know? Shoot for the moon, and land among the stars, right? ![]() |

Good day ladies... I am up .2 today. Not liking this upward trend, but I know it has everything to do w/ inflammation in my intestines, as I can SEE it. Also, bernice seems to show every 3-4 days, and then I have a whoosh. It's day #3, and she kind of came, if you know what I mean, but she really just teased me. We shall see what the rest of the day has in store. I'm not stressing it too much.
Getting so close to the end of my round, this time next week I will be enjoying some yummy FAT! I've got to tell you, I've been thinking about it a lot. Has anyone ever made oven fried chicken skin? It sounds a little icky to me, but I love that crispy skin on top of the roasted bird... It's delish! I'm making some thighs for a potluck and I reserved the skins, washed and trimmed, for oven frying them. I know DH is gonna look at me weird though, he already thinks I'm disgusting for eating the crispy skin They're in the freezer just waiting, calling my name. I also rendered some beef fat for cooking, man that took forever! But this morning I have two pint jars of beautiful, creamy beef fat for cooking. I hope it tastes good. I feel like I'm "nesting," only for P3!![]() MsHistory - Are you sure your scale is on a completely flat surface? And of course not on a carpet... I know there's a spot on my bathroom floor that has a wonky tile, if the scale is on it it gives me an inaccurate reading. Just a thought. As far as my goal, I would think it's crazy if it weren't for the fact that I weighed that for almost all of 2010, and I felt and looked great! So excited to be there again... Soon. Beezy - Yes, those last 5 have been a nightmare for me this round! But, I will make it, or at least get close. Great losses ladies! |

Way to go Leona that's awesome! Hopefully you will continue going down all the way to goal! Only a few more days to P3, right?
Well I blew it last night... up +1.8 on VLCD27. I won't go into all the yummy details, let's just say family that doesn't support, tex-mex, and girl scout cookies. But it's done and it's a new day. I feel lucky it wasn't a bigger gain, was 2 shy of putting me back up to my 6 day stall weight, so hopefully I'll come right back down. I don't regret it, such is life, but gonna try and learn from it. I started another thread about the emotional aspect of it. Basically, almost where I want to be, so freaked out. Can we say self sabotage? Anyway back on track today. Have a great day ladies! |

I was down zero this morning, but I am totally okay with that!! I ended up going to an East African restaurant with my parents after Church, so I just had that one meal all day except for an apple and a tiny lemon square at church. I was full all day and didn't gain, so I will take that anyday!!!

Down 1.0 today, HOOrah! : )
Tried to make the Egg Bread I read about, and was sooooo excited for an egg sandwich. MAAAJOR FAIL I didn't look closely, and accidentally bought Egg Beaters, which do not whip. (Life lesson for the day!)Tried to cook it anyway, just dumped the eggs onto parchment paper... cooked... tried to scrape OFF the parch paper for a good 10 minutes.... threw my beautiful "sandwich" away. *sigh* P2 seems like it would be so much easier for a good cook! |

Back again
Hi it has been a hard few days with my parents visiting. Haventwantedtopost a downer day(s). Just tried to maintain. Bounced around a bit and today at 131, up from yesterday but at least no overall gain in the past four days. Today is VLCD22, down 8.2 overall. In fairness, several days I was over the 500 KC by quite a bit, although pretty strictly P2 foods. So I guess that explains why I am less than the min .5 avg/day, right? Just a few days left, hope I can make it below 130 and at least in close reach of goal. I think I have 26 days then 3 days off hcg at VLC, but this is my first time so I am not sure!
Hope your weeks all start out well! (speaking of which -do I need to post this somewhere else?) |

I cheated. Kind of.
I did some heavy around the house stuff (moved a king sized mattress from my room ALLLLLL the way to the dump, almost by myself. I was exhausted!) and went roller skating with my daughter for her birthday. So at dinner I doubled (and mixed) my proteins (had steak and lobster). Stayed the same this morning. I'm ok with that. I was sure I would gain (and mentally prepared myself) so I was pleasantly surprised. I really needed it though. I feel much better today, and hope the gain doesn't show up on me tomorrow. Have a good day all! |

So i had an awful week, cheated at a birthday party and gained 1.2lbs overnight, ugh i am so mad at myself!
So that makes it only a 1.2lb loss this whole week! But i "remotivated" myself yesterday and got myself back on track. My hubby is deploying in May and i want to look good for him when he gets back, and its not going to happen if i eat chips and dip at a birthday party! So anyway i lost 0.8lb over night, i thought that was a pretty good start to getting back on track! |

Down 0.8 today, yay!
Yesterday was VLCD6 and it was all I could do to force down 280 calories. I looked back at my past logs, and it seems I always have a day like this around day 5-6... I'm not complaining! Beats being hungry! Beezy, Lumina, Kari: Sorry for the rough weekends! You all have great attitudes, though, so I'm sure you can power back through it!Lildrew - Okay okay, I'll quit complaining about MY scale not working, haha! My handsome little man is turning 8 this week... last year at this time I went hogwild on rainbow chip frosting. Hopefully this time I can exercise a bit more self restraint! ![]() |

MsHistory - You're doing awesome!
Lildrew - You're just locking it in! That's better than bumping up. Beezy and KariM - Back on track, way to go! You guys can do it, stay strong. Keep in mind your goal, it's totally reachable! Lumina - I think you'll be fine. If you're going to cheat, do it with P2 foods!!! I doubt you'll see any effects from your extra protein at all! Not at all happy this morning. This is day # 6 stuck in the 120's. This is what my weights have been the last 6 mornings... 120.2 120.6 120.6 120.8 120.2 120.4 I'm getting so frustrated you guys! I just want to . I know I should be happy about where I'm at, but I want desperately to stabilize at or below 120 and I also know we often stabilize a few # above our ldw so I really want that wiggle room. I'm just so very in need of hiding out today, which I can't do because of school, the kids' Y classes, etc. please, someone send me the whoosh fairy!Ok, that's enough of my pity party. Gonna try to pull out of my funk now. |

I'm sure that whoosh is coming!! you've got a great attitude!! Leona!! Sorry for your ridiculous stall. You're so close!! How many more P2 days are you planning? Can you add an apple day? Do they need to be several days before moving to P3? ![]() Kari-do you Disney Princess from this hcg board? She posts on the rogue thread. I think she's also in NC. Her dh is deploying shortly too I believe. Glad you're back on track the scale is already rewarding you!! ![]() Mshistory!! WTG!! And Beezy-sorry about your downer days. Glad you're back and posting!!Lumina-that's not a big cheat at all. And after all that exercise your body probably needed the extra protein. I'm sure you'll be down tomorrow. DIR-totally understand the cheat. But you've got the right attitude, pick yourself up, dust yourself off and back to P2!! I'm only down 0.2 overnight. Not too shabby, but still not exciting enough to want to keep going w. my P2. I'm leaning toward having today be my last dosing day. I was gonna' go 1 more, but I'm really hungry today. And w. the hhcg pellets I have 2 days w.o dosing still, which will be tough if I stay this hungry!! I think my body may be telling me it's ready for more food!!! I am really looking forward to P3!!
