I am up 1 pounds since I ate my seafood soup (canned clams and crab) made chili for dinner and rest of week, back to work wed, thur and fri, pups are doing fine, they get their tails cut wed afternoon. Is their anything you can do about salt in the body except drink more water? Mary

Just a quick stop in to say that ... I am wearing goal jeans today! I have a couple of pairs that I bought a bit small (and on major sale) for when I get to goal -- and I am wearing a pair today!!! They're fitted, but not too tight

Whoop whoop for inch loss, and for broken stalls all around!

Thanks Ladies -- that was a nice little boost this afternoon when I decided to get dressed for work

I hope the higher fat does wonders for my mood, because Lord knows it is FOUL right now -- my dude lost my ATM card (and his, too) -- and now I have to replace them... and that is just one more thing I have to deal with in an already overstressed week.
I am one big pile of grumpy, which does make me wonder if I am going to get another wave of TOM... this feels pretty hormonal.

No delivery yet of the hcg -- still says it is out for delivery today -- but the coffee shop agreed to take the package, so that is a good thing.

I actually ended up eating about 1000 calories today, just to get the fat in my body -- I wasn't hungry particularly, but I do think I really need it right now -- if it causes a temporary bump up, so be it -- it'll go back down. Plus, I have a late night, and had NO energy at all -- so I am hoping this helps.

I still may take a few days off before starting the new round, and do some egg days/fat fast days -- I think my body needs replenishing.

Okay -- it's official -- I feel a bizillion times better with some fat in my body. As soon as my afternoon meal digested, I started feeling a whole world better

I'll keep calories lower for the upcoming few weeks while I finish this round, but the dietary fat stays. It doesn't have to be much, but good Lord it makes a difference. Glad I decided to bump it up a little today -- I needed it.

I got my hcg delivery, so I am good to go with leg two of the round -- hurray! Still not sure what I am doing -- but I'm thinking finish this bottle (tomorrow or the next day is the end of it)-- do a couple of fat fast or egg days, and then resume with leg two. That much time should be fine, and as long as I keep it low calorie during the break, I don't think I will lose any ground -- at least I hope not. Who knows -- maybe I will even lose a bit.

Once a rogue, always a rogue, I guess

YAY Mini!!! Goal jeans already! AWESOME!!!

And glad to see that you got your order and that fat is doing your body good. YAY!!

I have been quite grumpy too with PMS. I feel so bad for my kids. My temper is so short with them. I do a lot of apologizing and asking for forgiveness. So thankful they love me!

Sorry about the ATM cards. Very annoying! Hopefully it won't be much to replace them.

I am making lists of what need to be done before we go away. I have to get groceries for the kids and fill my parents in on getting them ready for school/homework and all that other stuff. They will be totally fine, but they need to be prepared. I just can't wait to get away.

The little girl I spoke of earlier was burned in a terrible accident when someone poured gas on the fireplace in their home in an attempt to start it, it flashed and her and another child were burned. The other child had only minor burns but hers turned out to be much worse than first thought. It looks as though she will spend a long time in the hospital because of it. Both her and her family are going through a very hard time and could use all the prayers and good thoughts they can get.

Thank you for the welcome, everybody.

Cheryl, good for you for not doing barn duty today. That was wise.

Whoo hoo for goal jeans! That feels so great, doesn't it? I do better with some fat in my diet too, so I know what you mean. I always put cream or h&h in my tea in the morning.

Oh my gosh, prayer for that little girl and her family, and the other child too.

Second day after interruption; doing well so far. <crossing fingers>

Yay Mini for Goal Jeans!!!!

What horrible news about the child. I am sending prayers for her and her family.

As for me, I made it through yesterday on coffee, fat free half and half, 1/2 cup deli chicken salad, fat free Philly and 5 melba toast. Calories: 223.

Back to 156. Seems to be a set point. It makes sense. I was around this weight for several years - Wearing mostly 14's has been my size for most of my working life, at least according to my wardrobe. I feel like I have lost inches, but I don't want to measure because if its like last time and I haven't lost anywhere I will get discouraged.

Edited: Okay I measured. Makes me so dang mad because my fat belly stayed exactly the same. I lost 1/2 inch of BOOB* (I had noticed that -- was flat chested all my life and will be again I'm sure), .75 inch of hips, and one whole inch on my calves!!!!! Such weird places to lose. LOL.

*That's why I like that cleavage avatar pic of mine. I never had cleavage all my life till now. LOL.

Good morning

Praying for that little girl. How sad

I'm doing ok here. Son was sleeping well for 4 nights in a row until last night the artillery rounds started. They were so loud the house was shaking. Poor Kyle was in my bed hiding under my arm saying "mommy hide me, hold me". Needless to say it was a very long night.

I'm easing into my cleanse today- meaning only raw fruits and veggies. I suspect the scale will show a slight gain from the fiber but I'll use tomorrow's weight as my starting point. I never got my run in yesterday so it'll happen today.

Hope everyone has a good morning

Morning! Same weight (124.4) which was okay, had a couple extra calories late last night (200) as I was hungry, just can't go to bed hungry. At least I kept it starch free!

Sending prayers out to burned kiddos ...I understand the pain is incredible, hope the medical team is on their toes. One of the reasons I did not want a flat top stove...my niece burned her hand on her grandmom's years ago. . Jackie - sorry for artillery rounds! Last thing you needed!

Today is my middle of week P3 day. Convincing DD she is not deathly ill and can go to school.

Julie, prior to our son being born (he'll be 13 in July and I ganed 75 pounds with my pregnancy) I've been 5'10" since I was 13, am 42 now and I weighed 135-140 for years and didn't try hard. I used to walk everywhere and even though growing up I didn't have the best diet, I didn't eat a lot. I've always been told I'm "too thin" because of my height, but that's what I'm comfortable with. I'm not going to endanger my health, which is why I stay within the weight range for my height. Your weight loss is amazing to me. What a success story!

Cheryl, you're right, I lose on any plan as well and no gas today!

Good Morning! I've decided to weigh more than once a week. Since February 12th, I'm UP twelve pounds! It's hard to tell when people see me, but I can tell. I know what do without hhcg, but am doing another short round. I never made it to my goal of 140 and am even looking at 135 so I don't ever go over 140. I'm still within the weight range for my height which is 129-174. Today, tomorrow and Friday, I'm doing chicken thigh days (7 each day). I did weigh this morning so I have a starting point.

I would love to do just a 21-day round, but 42 is okay too. However, I don't think it will take that long. I'd like to start my round at no more than 155, may gain ten from loading and that's all she wrote. I didn't end my last round properly and let interruption days get the best of me. For the most part, I've been sticking with P3 foods, but had frozen yogurt two days over the weekend and need to tighten my belt.

How often do you all weigh? I'm thinking every other day at the least, but every day was driving me nuts because of how much weight fluctuates.

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning!!

Paula-I'm here!! But in AZ it's only 7am !

Violet-Thanks!! you're sweet. I am much happier now than I was in my youth. I was obese from 6th grade on. I'll bet you look great!! I'm 42 too, btw . You've got a good plan there. I'm sure that new weight will come right back off. You're so tall!! I'm jealous!!

Mini-glad you found the cards. That's such a hassle and makes life tough!! Hope your new plan keeps you moving down that scale, and for your jeans!! That's some serious reward for all your sacrifice!!

Jackie- man, just when he's making progress!! Hope your plan for today goes well and you can get your run in. I think that endorphin rush would do you good!

Sas-Lol at your Avi comment! I lose top down too , but it does make you look thinner right away!

Stacey-I'll bet you're counting the days until your trip!! How was the weight today? Did you make your Feb goal? You're right there!!

Tx-I prayed for that little girl and her family. What an awful thing to live with!! Hope she heals quickly (physically and emotionally). No wonder you were so upset when you answered your door to that situation!!

Plum- (in case I forgot to post that earlier) hope your interruption is going well!!

Cheryl-glad you took a day off. Hope you're feeling better. What did the dr say?

Well, this morning I am down again . Yesterday should have been LDW, if I was calling it round at day 21. But, I'm down to 150.2 this morning!! So close to the 140's. I want to keep going!! I'm thinking I'll go through the weekend (if I can) and see where I end up. If I can get into the 140's for a few days I will be thrilled with that!! The lowest I ever got was 149.6 one day. It would be simply amazing to get into the 140's, let alone to maintain there!! I can see a difference in the mirror, and dh is very complimentary at his "disappearing" wife!

Have a great leap year day ladies!!

Good morning everyone!

Well I finally screwed up my courage and got on the scale to find out what damage had been done by my week-long dive off the wagon. I was only 1.4 lbs up! Of course I've been being a good girl again for 2 days, so the numbers probably were worse
earlier in the week, but I refused to look. Apparently most of what damage I did was water weight, thank you God.

Yay for everyone's losses or steady weights!

Mini, thank goodness the cards are found. That's a real hassle, especially with everything else you have going on right now!

DisneyPrincess, prayer for your little boy and the night time scaries. He's so blessed he has you, hey? Do you often do a juice cleanse?

Cheryl, are you seeing the doc today?

Haven't touched base in a few days. I've missed all of you.

Well today is my first day of P3, and I'm up 0.8 even before I start. UGH! Trying not to be discouraged but it would sure be nice to have some wiggle room as I start adding back in all these calories. I've never been one of those lucky people who continue to lose those last couple days of VLCD. I'm more petrified than ever of gaining any weight back again, because I'm determined for this to be my LAST round! I've got to do whatever it takes to maintain in my window.

Had a protein shake for breakfast, and will have a big salad for lunch with chicken, hard boiled egg, bacon, avocado & ranch dressing. Not sure yet what I'll have for dinner. Probably something light. Sound ok?

I'm leaving Friday for my dad's funeral. I'm going to eat as clean P3 as possible and try to stay away from cheese and nuts. I will probably bring Greek yogurt, though, as I've done well with that in the past. Do you guys suggest I cut back on fruit too? I was thinking of bringing apples & strawberries.

Finally got caught up with most of the reading here I think:

Mini... YEAH!!! Goal jeans AND found ATM cards! PTL!

Cheryl... I hope your "rib" is feeling better.

Sass... Wahoo on folks "noticing" AND that is some GREAT inch loss!!

DP... so sorry for your rough night! Praying for you today!!

Hikergurl... don't fret... phase 3 will be GREAT and you WILL stabilize like a rock!! I pray you will have a safe trip and a good time "celebrating" the life of your father with family and friends.

Oh... that poor family of the burned little ones.. praying for them too!

Now... an update on me: I posted this on a couple other threads I follow so if it is a repeat for you... just skip it!

I did something totally roguish... kinda a long story though..... but here goes!! You guys know these past couple of weeks have been LOTS of ups and downs for me... mostly emotional. The scale has faithfully stayed between 146 - 150 for the past 2 weeks. Anyway.... last week I had an AWESOME rogue VLCD week, stuck to VLCD with the exception of cream in my coffee. Then Sunday I started to spot for TOM early. I was bummed since I was planning to last dose on Monday. I decided NOT to dose at all on Sunday... ended up taking one dose on Monday... didn't dose on Tues or today and TOM is still barely at the spotting stage.

Yesterday I decided to do a FF day, I hadn't weighed since Saturday 146.2 is what it had been for the past couple days b/f Sat and Saturday. I felt GREAT all day yesterday AND I at one point when I walked by the mirror (I was cleaning like MAD... cleaned so much I'm really sore today), I noticed something....

My BOOBS suck out further than my tummy!!!! This has not been the case for the past 16 years!!! I then looked at me and said... I'M DONE and I'm HAPPY with me!! Then hubby came home and started his greeting with, "Hows my skinny wife?!" Continued to comment on the feel of my body while he gave me his homecoming hugs and kisses... and I asked him if he was ok with me being done... and of course he said... "YES!!"

So I've had one dose of hcg since Saturday. So I don't think today can officially be Phase 3 since the last dose was Monday afternoon.. maybe by tonight I guess. BUT I'm doing a FF day again. I'm so excited to be moving on and I feel really good about it! I'm going to settled into phase 3 and when I'm ready I'm going to try to JUDDD my way into the 130's. For now though I feel it is REALLY important for me to focus on maintaining.. I do it Low Carb.. but I'm loving my green smoothies and do plan to keep them as part of my daily menu. They are made of kefired milk/(now cream too), spinach, and strawberries which are NOT super high in the carb area so I'm hoping they will allow me to maintain well. I'll be adding coconut oil and protein powder to them too. I'm so excited about using coconut oil daily again and partaking of my coconut manna candy. :-)

Hubby is buying the family a "Total Gym" so we plan to start working out next week too.. it is really possible that by toning I might not want to get into the 130's and I'm totally fine with that too!

So.... I'm joining you girls in Maintenance Lane! I hope you don't mind me tagging along!

So, I'm counting Saturday's weight as my LDW: 146.2. Today I was 147.2 after a FF... I'm probably going to be REALLY bad... and not weigh daily as long as I'm eating with reason Phase 3 style or FF style. My total loss with hcg in three rounds is 88.8 pounds. This was done in 146 phase 2 VLCD's... wow! 89 pounds in 145 dieting days! LOVE IT! :-) I don't count phase 3 as dieting.. it is really maintenance eating for me since I love low carb.

Have a great day everyone!

Hiker, just wanted to give you I really can't help with your p3 diet b/c I didn't really do p3. And your salad just made my mouth water. Hopefully that little bump was just water.

Paula, I was on earlier, but didn't get a chance to post. Had a chiro appt and boy do I feel GREAT after she cracked the heck out of me! I made DD go to school on Friday, come to find out Sat she had strep throat. Whoops! No one else in her class has it so far.

Mini, glad you found the cards.

Julie, YAY!! If I were you, I would keep going and get in the 140s. A new decade feels so good!

Cheryl, hoping you hear good news from the dr. Glad you took a day off.

Violet, I weigh everyday. I try not to, but it keeps me in check. I don't find it obsessive at all. I don't get on all day either. Usually at night because I know if I will have a loss the next day. And once in the morning before my workouts. But this is what works for me. Looks like you will have no problem getting the weight off.

Good afternoon to everyone else!

Well I was the same this morning so I didn't make my monthly goal. BUT, this is a short month, so that's why!! Hoping to get to 137 on Friday. Totally pmsing and feeling the bloat so i may not see a loss until the end of next week or later after TOM comes and goes. It stinks, but that is how it goes.

Went to my chiro and she told me I looked amazing. She told me that I look like I was 17. LOL!! I do look young when I am just in jean and a t-shirt with no make up. I'll take it! Was a nice boost I needed on this gloomy day. I must say that I felt thin. My size 6 jeans def need a belt at this point, but I still have yet to get one.

Your results have been amazing! CONGRATS! Enjoy P3 again soon!

Congratz ShirleyChef on making it to your goal. You have certainly worked long and hard for this.

LOL. As for me, I now understand what all the comments at work were really saying, "Wow, you've really lost weight [in your BOOBS]" LOLOLOLOL

I weigh every day. I don't necessarily beleive its a fat gain or loss, but I like to monitor the situation closely. Like today, I was back to low weight for this round, but I did notice my rings were tight when I got dressed so I will probably drop some water soon!!!

Eating a nice salad for lunch with Walden's Farm dressing. threw the cheese in the garbage and took the yokes out of the eggs. Also picked out the fat from the roast beef. Sheesh. I better lose.

Shirley -- WHOOOHOOO on calling goal! May things stabilize beautifully for you!!!

Sass -- Don't get discouraged about the current shape -- bodies do tend to do a lot of reshaping in p3 and p4, and even beyond that, from what I've heard.

Hiker -- I wouldn't stress about the little fluctuations -- some people lose on the VCCDs without dosing, some gain -- either way, as long as you keep in your window, it's fine. Huge hugs as you go through the memorial service!

Hiker-glad you're getting settled in P3 a little before your trip. I wouldn't worry about it too much while away. do the best you can and CD's will be here when you get back.

Shirley-Congratulations!! You've done so well, for SO long!! You totally deserve to enjoy that P3 and fat!! How tall are you again? I'll bet you look smashing!! I am with you. I'm going another day or so, and where I get, I get. I will worry about toning and maybe losing a bit more after I'm good and stable.

Sas-you're a trooper! working that salad like a pro

Stacey-now that's a compliment worth remembering!! You go, little skinny thing!! A belt? or size 4 jeans? Decisions, decisions .

Plugging along. Getting a bit bored w. P2, but while it's still working I'm hanging in. The fam is supportive, kinda'. They really prefer dining out and having me partake too. They'll all be happy when I'm done. So will I .

I need to bake for a bake auction at church on Sunday (VBS fundraiser). I usually make truffles which go for a good price. I won't be doing that this time. Too much rolling by hand! I may make truffle brownies or something like that? We'll see. I am also entering a chili in the chili cookoff (same event). I'll taste test before I add the beans. Should be safe enough on P2.

Ok, off to straighten my hair, put on some makeup and go see my mom. Have a good rest of your LeapDay!!

I'm happy to see that my loss from yesterday essentially held -- yay!

Today is my last day of the first bottle, I think, and then tomorrow I break into the new batch -- here's hoping that is just what I need to get losses going again.

If I am not seeing a nice scale drop by Friday, I am going to fat fast for the weekend, and then return to my regularly scheduled rogue p2.

I've decided I'd like to call LDW at 96 lbs, and shoot to maintain at just under 100 (that gives me a slightly bigger window to work with). I think 95 would be a little low for me given my musculature. I already look pretty thin in clothes... it's just naked that needs a bit of work, and that can happen largely in the gym once I am stable. If the pounds start coming off easily and I think I'd look good at 95, I'll go there --but if not, so be it.

I'm shooting for 500 to 800 calories with zero or one fruit serving a day, mostly protein and some good fat. I am going to keep the veggies to a minimum since my gut is hating them, though I will still eat some here and there -- and I am going to be diligent about vitamins for the rest of the round.

I think this should get me to goal -- if it doesn't, I am still going to go to p3 and take a long maintenance break when this bottle is gone.

Julie -- you are rocking this round, woman!!!!!!!!!!! So glad for you, and I hope you stabilize perfectly!!!!!!!!

I think I will wear another pair of my new GOAL JEANS tonight I bought 4 pairs of jeans about a month ago, on a major sale )like $40 for all four pairs combined) -- and they were all too small at the time. Now, all but one pair fits -- that last pair is teeny tiny (its a super skinny cut) -- so it should fit snugly at goal -- but the others all fit now, and one is even rather comfortably loose

Oh, it is FUN to get dressed now!!

(Psst -- don't want to brag, but maybe I will a little anyhow -- these goal jeans are true size 0s -- not vanity sized My vanity 0s are now too big.)

I don't like getting hung up on numbers, scale or otherwise -- but there IS one pair of size 00 jeans that I have my eye on, and if they fit at goal, I'm buying them.

Were you the one that mentioned old navy retro flare jeans? Maybe not, but I got a pair and love them. They are 4s, but large as a 6, and fit. Even in a short, though, they are long enough I need a boot or bit of a heal to wear them. I wish I could rock some tall wedges! Joints just can't handle it though.
