Stalls happen. Read the bit in P&I about interruptions of weight loss. If you didn't lose any today, you can do an apple day unless you are right at the end of your round. That is the approved "jump start" if you are protocol. If you are ending your round at day 23, I would just keep on. If you have been at this weight for 4-5 days, you will probably stabilize like a rock. HTH

20 days of weight loss of almost a pound a day is a very successful round so far! I've had stalls of 5 days without doing any kind of correction. But I am really opposed to eating only apples, in theory, because protein is the only thing that changes my hunger. I'd expect the losses to start again soon, although maybe not at the same rate you experienced in the first part of the round. My second half round losses tend to be slightly lower than 1st half.

You've already lost great.
Hope the scale moves for you soon. Depending on how long you go, like Shelby said, an apple day usually shakes things up. |

well now im just thinking its because of my TOM i had no idea i just read something about that also that some people stop taking drops during that time
i didn't but may explain my 6 day stall also? should i stop the drops for the rest? wonder why my instructions for my drops didnt mention this at all. does TOM stall any one else? |

Are you doing rx or hhcg? The stopping during TOM is only applicable to rx hcg but if you've had TOM around for a few days, that probably WOULD account for the stall issues. TOM stalls a LOT of people.

A stall is very common especially when you are averaging 1 pound a day loss. Dr. S explains it in the Pounds & Inches Manuscript. TOM and ovulation cause me to gain and stall most months. Dr. S also tells us that some people can stall for up to 2 weeks if they get to a weight that was a previous set point.
You are doing GREAT!!! Hang in there! Blessings, Shirley - Round 3 VLCD 49 - 25.6 pounds Total hcg loss: 88 pounds |
