immunity? and the 3 day rule
I did a 50 day round on Rx sublingual HCG tablets and took my last HCG yesterday. I was staying hungry all the time so decided to stop my P2. Now I'm in the interim period of 3 VLCD's until I can do the P3 stuff.
The problem is, I am very hungry. And I've increased my protein already (about 3 oz) which I can generally get away with and not gain. I can just wait out the remaining two days if I have to, but do I have to? What happens if I start P3 after 2 days rather than 3? It seems like if I increase calories but keep to the restricted food list I am doing what Dr. S says to do when we get to goal weight (which I'm not, but also not trying to lose any more) and I should maintain but not gain. I must be missing something though otherwise we wouldn't be told to wait 3 days to start P3. Any thoughts? |

I think the risk of gaining is a lot higher during those three days than it is after that -- and Simeons wrote the plan assuming you would continue to lose during that VLC period after stopping, and then more or less bounce back to LIW when you started p3, I think.
It's probably fine to increase your protein a bit and still stick to p2 foods for the three days, and then start p3 -- a lot of folks do that. |
