Nausea on P3

I took my last injection on Saturday and have been nauseated since Sunday (off and on). Just ate my morning eggs, and I wish I could go and toss them!

I don't think this is food related, but some imbalance, as I was nauseated while still on VLCD and not yet on high protein/fat!

I'll go take some enzymes and probiotics, hoping they won't interfere with my stabilizing.

Any other input/feedback/suggestions?

Thanks mucho!

The probiotics will help. I will tell you that for the first 3-4 days of my first P3 I felt the same way. It will pass though. Good luck stabalizing!!

Funnily enough, the probiotics and enzymes didn't help. However, having brownies and champagne DID help. Tomorrow is day 6 of no hCG and I'm wondering how I'll feel. It's a PITA annd I hope I follow your experience!

(I'm also hoping I didn't screw up too badly by having the carbs tonight.)

This can be really common. I feel that way each time b/c of reintroducing the fats. It often takes our bodies a couple days to a week to re-adjust to processing fats again. A digestive enzyme that has Lipase in it will help.

BUT even with enzymes I find it takes a while... one time took me a full week+ before I felt like eating and wasn't sick to my stomach every time I did eat.

More good info and thanks. I'll be sure I have Lipase.

I AM a bit confused, as the nausea began the day after my last injection -- and I was still on VLCD, not on any fat whatsoever. And then, the scrambled eggs, which used to be a joy, weren't and aren't any joy at all. So, sounds like the eggs/fat have some effect. I just don't understand.

But I'm really glad to hear I'm not alone with this. I do often take Sorenzyme--a Labrada product that has various enzymyes and is good for post-exercise muscle soreness. But, it is also a combo of various enzymes and most likely to have lipase in it. I have others too (all sold by netrition!) and see what has lipase in it.

Thanks.

So... if it started day after LI.... is there any chance you are pregnant?? If not then could it be you reached the point where all abnormal fat was consumed and your body was telling you by the nausea??? Are you still within the +/- 2 of LIW or have you shot above it? Did you have any hunger with the nausea?

Sorry.... want me to ask another question?!

Shirley, thanks for the troubleshooting.
No chance -- too old, and only male I sleep with is feline, (seeking money making opportunity for such a conception <g>)
Still have plenty of fat even though at 129. Plan to do another round to get back to early adulthood weight of 115ish IF my face looks good.
LIW Last Saturday was 129.5 so yes, still within the 2 lbs +-

Nausea seems to have resolved. We'll see today. I had some heavy duty carbs (panera pecan roll yesterday) and feel much better. Funny. With hcg and virtually no carbs I was fine. My eyes seem puffy so probably retaining fluids some. That's good weight-wise. I'm just .5 above LIW and back to P3 today.

From my iPhone.
