Thanks! I think that'll be dinner. I put my tuscano soup in the freezer for P3. I suspect maybe the chicken sausage has too much fat in it.
What do you think about putting a bit of salsa on top? I love eggs w/ salsa. Unless I try those strawberry crepes!! They look yummy!! |

I thought about the salsa too, Julie...I'm more of a tangy~spicy kind of girl...but the strawberries did not disappoint
The thing is...about half the mixture of 3 whites and an egg go to a crepe...and the rest is left over...you could make 2 crepes very easily..or also do what I did...make a crepe and a scramble...and your scramble with salsa would be a vegie...I'd only worry if it were filling enough ![]() |

Ok... after all this "egg bread" talk I changed my dinner menu. I used 3 egg whites to make the "bread" blobs. I then steamed my asparagus, removed them and "fried" my whole egg in the asparagus juice, I covered it so the top would cook over a little since I kinda figured it would NOT flip and I like mine over easy. I put this "fried" egg on one of the blobs, topped with another and OH MY!!!!! I have SO missed fried egg sandwiches... it was absolutely heavenly!! I wrapped some of the asparagus in the other blob.. it was absolutely lovely.
Thanks for all the egg talk!! Now I just hope the scale will be friendly to me tomorrow. ![]() If it is... those strawberry crepes MIGHT just be on the menu for tomorrow! ![]() |

0.4 lb gain this morning. I'he seemed to have fallen into a pattern of losing a nice amount then the next day gaining a little bit. I know yesterday I went a tad over my calories and had way, way to much sodium
I made the onion soup and didn't realize how much sodium was in the beef broth I bought til last night when I was logging my food into ******, 980g of sodium in 1C and I had about 1.5C. YIKES ![]() Anyway... I just made some egg/eggwhites scrambled with a little salsa and it was really good. I was iffy on the salsa since it has more than one veggie but I just used a little bit and avoided the onion and pepper and just ate the tomatoes. Andi am about to start chugging some water and hope for a nice loss tomorrow. ![]() |

Yesterday I ate...
B: coffee L: broccoli, grilled chicken D: eggs and cabbage, w/ sugar free salsa I don't seem to lose when I eat eggs. I don't gain, but I haven't noticed great losses when I eat them, mostly just stay the same. May be a coincidence, may not. I'm going to try to stay away from them for the rest of my round and see if it makes any difference at all. |

I use ground chicken but you can dice up chicken breast and sautee that in chicken broth, braggs amino acids (like soy sauce), onions, garlic, ground ginger, artificial sweetener (I use sweetnlow). I add diced red bell pepper-my little rogue touch
. You can also add a dash of crushed red pepper for some zing. Delicious!! I wrap this in romaine leaves. ![]() I guess I can't do eggs every day, right? I will wait until tomorrow I guess. I saw on the original that it's supposed to be "occasionally". Sigh. So, I guess I'll have a little round steak leftovers and some cabbage. I'll save the eggs for tomorrow.

Hey gals... thanks so much for letting my join in for the phase 2 accountability last week. I've decided to transition out of the VLCD and move on into maintenance... I'm ready for a break and don't know when or if I'll do another round in the future.
I was surprised by spotting on Sunday... early TOM and was thinking I'd have to plunge through it... but I didn't dose Sunday.. only took 1 does on Monday and haven't had any since then.. AND my TOM is still at the barely spotting stage... so I'm calling it quits! I think TOM is still going to take a while to get here full force and I'm ready to move into phase 3. :-) I'm taking it easy today with food since my last dose was Mon afternoon... but I didn't have any Sunday... so I'm going to eat according to hunger and see how it goes today. My LDW on Saturday was 146.2... today I was 147.2. I'm hoping to maintain and enjoy phase 3 eating for a long time then eventually possibly work on JUDDDing my way down closer to 135 unless through exercise I tone up and feel very comfortable at 146 ish. Total hcg results: in 145 VLCD's I've lost 89 pounds!!! On what other "diet" can you lose so much blubber in such a short period of time! This journey took me 1 year and 3 rounds and I'm so thankful to have found hcg! My body is at a normal BMI for the first time ever in my adult life and I weigh now what I weighed as a 12 & 13 year old. I wish you each the best of success as you plunge forward with your round(s).
