HCG following prednisone treatment?

I just finished taking prednisone for my Ulcerative Colitis flare and gained some weight from the prednisone. My adrenals are now sluggish and I also have Hashimoto's (hypothyriod) and know that dropping the recent weight will be more difficult than ever.

Has anyone taken HCG following prednisone to lose the unfortunate prednisone weight gain?

I know my body has been through a lot and I don't want to damage my metabolism, especially since my adrenals are just getting back in gear.

Please share your thoughts and experiences.
