Day #2 of hCG/VLCD (coming off an interruption--loaded without hCG)
Lost the three pounds that I "loaded" on, now back down to 130.8, which scares me because this is the weight I stayed at for 10 whole days before my interruption!!!! I really am scared.

Thankfully, I'm not feeling burned out or exhausted (yet), and I have a total of 10 days of this before I have to endure another interruption. I hope, I hope, I hope I don't screw up this next interruption and gain back anything lost in these next 10 days!

Hope all of you are losers this week!

I weighed 132.75# today!

Sure hope the weight loss continues - interesting, seeing some of your comments about a week 2 stall - that definitely happened to me both this round and my first round, all my weight seemed to do was bounce around, then the third week started going down again.

Mmmm... Enjoying some P2 approved breakfast for lunch. I took some lightly steamed cabbage and spread it over the bottom of a parchment lined 8x8, then poured over my liquid egg whites (I'm allergic to the yolk) and baked it. Served with some P2 safe ketchup. It's pretty good. I'm just really enjoying something other than chicken!

Morning ladies!! WOW all the losses are great!! TOM came to bug me yesterday which had resulted in a 1.6 gain in the last two days (sun/mon) I was so lost till he showed up yesterday so I took a detox bath...and today I was down

3.4 LBS!!!

Thank god cause I really needed that (could do without horrible cramps though )

VLCD2 and down 1.7lbs. All day have been feeling like I'm fighting off getting sick. Food hasn't really agreed with me much. Trying to get the calories in even though I'm feeling

icecreamjunkie~ my suggestion is whatever you do remain consistant with your calories. If you are happy with the food you have been eating and its on plan dont add the melba. I never do. It seems to make me crave more.

ONLY down .1 this am. 150.1! Just can't seem to break out of this decade! BOO. It's getting really frustrating, as I want to get as close to goal as possible and only have 9 days to go w/ 10.1 lbs to lose. Anyway, I have lost 20 lbs this round, so far. I usually have about a 26 lb loss each round.
Have a great Wednesday, y'all. Half way through the work week. YEAH!

Congtrats on the loss! I take them ALL as a victory! How long of rounds do you do? The 21 or the 42 day rounds? I am doing the 42 (or is it 43) day and have today as my last of my 21 days...and as of yesterday lost only 15 (going from my preload weight) lbs so far.....

AND got on the scale this morning and I was up 3. something lbs!!!!!
I had beef 2x yesterday...but i just wanted a hamburger patty so bad...BUT I know i used way to much brags amino acids...it was almost inedible it was sooooo salty tasting! So, I am thinking it is just water retention??? I have hovered around this weight for since January 29th!!!!!

So, I am going to lay off the coffee for the next few days, back off the brags and salt...and try to up the water consumption and see what that does...so sad!!!!

I'm down 1.4 this am which was much needed for my 4 zero days this week. I tell ya I was about to throw the towel in. At might all I want to do is go home and watch food porn. Funny how you resolve to give up and then things start moving.

I was going to take a break next Monday but my period came back with a vengance and it wont go away. It's scaring me. It's been a week and a half so far. On this break I vow to stay in my window. I will eat at home unless I know exactly what I'm eating and I've eaten it before with no gain. I will eat mostly protein and spinach or low glycemic veggies.

Ugh cant wait for Saturday.

lol...being a foodie (and former kitchen worker...miss it!) almost all I watch is food channel! lol...i don't crave the foods but it is all i find interesting on tv!

You mentioned spinach and lower glycemic veggies...I wonder if that is part of what i am doing wrong. I eat a LOT of onion, tomatoes, fennel....all of the ones that are higher....hmmmm, maybe I should back off of those for a few days and see what happens???

Gains in P3

From what I've learned, everyone is individual on which foods cause you to fluctuate. P3 is the time to get to know which ones cause a gain and which dont. Especially since you have just detoxed and are starting with a new slate so to speak. Some rules to consider are this... The more protein and fats you eat the less likely you will gain. The more fruit and vegetables you eat the more chances for a gain. This makes sense when they say eat a steak and a tomato or an apple for dinner and you will correct a gain. You might be allergic to tomatoes. The only thing that I noticed about onion is in Atkins induction they limit onions so there must be sugars in them. Its all about how your body metabolizes the foods. I would go one day protein alone. The next day eat protein and add tomatoes, if you gain you know thats the culprit and so on... watch the salt and also hidden sugars but by that I mean added sugars. I've found that mayo and bacon dont count but some hot dogs cause me to gain. It may be the additives, just dont know for sure.

Icecreamjunkie: sorry to hear about your gain, it probably is water. I started staying away from onions and tomatoes because of the sugar and carbs in them. I know when I have too many I will gain. So I keep them seperated and I have only limited amounts, like 3-4 table spoons as a garnish.

I only lost .2 this morning
cant be too sad I am losing and that is what counts!!

Sorry I've been MIA for a few days. Just busy at work.
I'm on vlcd24 and I'm down -19. It would be 20, but of course TOM came 2 days ago. Grrr...so the past 2 days I've had a .4 gain then a .2 gain. So annoyed with that. But I still have 2 more weeks to go from today exactly until last dose. So, I am really hopefully for another 10. I know that is thinking really positive, but I know it's possible!

I'm pretty sure Costco has a frozen bag of Scallops for $17 or so... it might be less, will last you a long time...

I do the 4o something day rounds. Gonna cut it a couple days short this round and go into phase 3 for the long President's Day weekend. It's been a long one!
I know what you mean about the Bragg's. If you use too much, it makes your food taste bad. I don't know if I'm retaining water or not. I had a period about 10 days ago (after none for 3 months!) and had some break through bleeding today . Hopefully, that doesn't last! I'm am also fighting a cold, so have been trying to drink a lot of water.
You're doing pretty well in that short time. Keep up the work. I goes by pretty fast! Lyn

A miracle!! Down 2.8 lbs today (D#3 VLCD) to 128.0. I'm so happy to be past my stall weight, I can't tell you! Woohoo!!!!

Of course, I am fully prepared for a possible increase in weight tomorrow. Been there, done that, where you lose big and then have a bump up the next day. But for today, I am happy.

morning ya'll!
Stayed the same today as yesterday but completely my fault, didn't get in my second fruit/veg/meat for the day so i only survived on like 200 calories yesterday, not good just wasn't hungry also have TOM, cramps like a vengeance!

turbo kick today, detox bath tonight, all my food lol and hopefully will leave the 130's tomorrow!!
