Your Why
Many of us lose weight for personal reasons but what is/was your why for Hcg? When I heard that going through p2 and p3 changes your relationship with food I was hooked! I was told that by completing a full round I will think about food differently, the doctor dared to say that because I will not be hungry I will not obsess about food, and I will not be likely to binge on carbs because i will almost lose my taste for them as a result of being off of them for so long. I started to accomplish this earlier in the year through a series of green juice fasts but was wondering if my metabolism was getting slower with each fast. The doctor said with hcg that does not occur. So - a good metabolism, a healthy relationship with food, portion control - what more could I ask or??!!

For me, it was resetting the hypothalmus...I started dieting with WW at age 16...I'm 56 now...and this was the highest weight I've ever weighed on a scale.
I'd done so many different diets that I'd pretty much given up ever getting UNDER 200, much less down to or under 150. I'm thrilled to be doing this. ![]() Jodie ![]() |

It was the only solution for me that actually curbed my uncontrollable hunger that white foods give you. Never feeling full, always wanting more, craving sweets and carbs... I would try a calorie restricted diet every day and by noon I was caving in thinking I was a failure and then it would start again the next day. It was torture.
Hcg was a godsend. The feeling of not caring about food not feeling hungry but having energy was something I tearned for and no other diet had been able to provide. The pounds dropping quickly made me feel rewarded. The difference in my body, like for instance being actually able to fit into jeans that I couls never wear before was thrilling. The mainenance is tough. Its the time off the diet thats proven to be very very delicate. The longer youre on P3 and stable the better your chances will be when you go off plan in p4. I will vow to not gain more than 5 lbs total this time.

I started dieting because I was told I was pre-diabetic and was finally in that mental place where I was willing to do something about it. I did regular weight loss for about 6 months, and got as far as that would take me without drastic lifestyle changes. I was motivated by wanting fast results and the idea that it would target abnormal fat stores and possibly give me a body configuration that I had never had before.
I'm not there yet, so I'll let you know if that last part is true in a few months, but I do believe the proportions of my body have changed to be more balanced. I am not as bottom heavy as I used to be. |
