Okay -- new thread, and it is PROTOCOL time for me baby!

I gained loading, but not too terribly much, considering the last time I weighed after leaving p2 I was at 110.something.... and I loaded like a champ!

I woke up NOT HUNGRY so let's hope that bodes really well for this round. I am really thirsty this morning, so I will be doing lots of water today.

No regrets here -- just really ready to move forward and get this done

Sorry to hear about the gain, Paula - that's a big fluctuation, and I bet it will come off pretty easily. I hope so!

I'll be keeping this brief, since I need to shuffle out the door shortly -- in loose clothing, lol!

Popping in on the new thread. Still recovering on the ankle, and ear is now horrible, think I might have an ear infection, stabbing pains shooting through it... just for a bit more fun. Nice load mini!! Glad you are feeling okay and not hungry!!

Round 3-800 Calorie Protocol

Hi! I'm just starting R3 and I'm seriously considering doing the 800 calorie protocol I've been reading so much about. Is this the correct forum for me to be posting in since I'm doing an alternative to the original protocol?

Cathy, I hope you feel better! Ear pain is no fun! Has the swelling gone down at all?

Mini, I hope you get the real deal today! I can't wait to follow along and see how this round goes for you!

Hiker! This is a great little group. Not all of us are on HCG, but we enjoy the encouragement and support from each other no matter what plan we are on.

I didn't weigh today since I ate toi much last night. Was totally on my plan, but too much! My friend told me yesterday at church that I was "totally hot!" I will take that! I have lost .5" in both my waist and hips since I started insanity last week. So even if the scale isn't moving, the chub-a-lub is! My size 6 jeans are starting to get loose, but I am not shopping until I get to goal.

TOM will be making an appearance by the end of the week and the bloat has begun. I may not weigh until TOM is over.

Hope everyone is having a great Monday!

Marking my spot. Not much to report as I'm off the scale. I might sneak a peak in a day or 2 but I have to take it with a grain of salt since I normally weigh 3 hours later.
LC is going ok. Listening to hunger.

Off to get some work done.

Just want to respond to the last few posts of our last thread, so I don't forget.

Paula, I'm so sorry for your weekend gain. I hope it comes off again quickly.

BC, I'm sorry your measurements weren't down where you wanted them to be. KUTGW and you will have better scale days in the future.

Mini and Riley, good luck on your first VLCD! Hope your real hcg comes today as expected, Zoe.

Okay. Now to get caught up on THIS thread!

Dang it! Many times when I have ear pain, it is caused by a tooth problem that is yet to present itself. Whatever it is, I hope it rapidly goes away. Are you able to wear your air boot yet? How is your foot/ankle looking lately? I hope it's getting smaller.

Love that comment! And that's great about the size 6's getting loose and shrinking measurements! Happy Insanity! (Her workout.)

Hang in there, sweetie-pie! You sound "low" so please find time to hang with us whenever you can. We'll lift you up!

As for me, I am so happy! Down an even 10 lbs after 8 VLCDs (which puts me back in the 160's!) I am moving right along and just hoping that from here on out, I lose a minimum of 3 lbs per week. If I can manage that, I am going to stay on P2 all the way to goal. That will be reached by mid-April, at that rate. So I'm going to see how things move along. I'm hoping and praying that I can accomplish that weekly goal.

On the financial front, things are even more bleak than I thought they were. I had been approved for energy assistance but used it all up in one delivery. From this point on, it's all cash out of my pocket. So tomorrow I will get the minimum delivery of 100 gallons and pay $365. There goes every cent I might have been able to put aside to pay for movers and to help get something stashed away for first/last/security deposit on an apartment.

I honestly don't know how I'm going to not end up on the street. If I had a van, that might be an option.

Cheryl, hugs and prayers to you and hoping you get everything worked out.

Up to 141.6 this morning after my load yesterday which is what I expected, so hoping for a whoosh and will be back in the 130's tomorrow. Let's hope! I am still going a little roguish this round, protein in the mornings and different mix of veggies, one fruit and zero Melba.

Oh Cheryl! Big to you! Do you have friends that can help you move? I wish we were there to help you. We have moved so many times, we could have our own moving company! Just remember that God is for you and He will find a way for you. Just trust Him. I will be praying for you!

Luna, glad to hear that you had a good weekend! Here's to a great week!

Erin and Mini, here's to a rockin' round for you both!!

Jackie, I am listening to hunger too and staying away from the scale since it isn't my friend right now. The scale will not define me!

I just wish I'd never bought this house sometimes. I shopped and dreamed for years before I finally bought one and settled down. Six months later the market crashed (2006) and the additional stress of the entire closing process and simultaniously training for a job in ICU put me right over the edge. (That and buying a second dog to keep the one I already had company while I worked 12 hour shifts and was gone for 14 hours at a time. She was the first dog I ever had that was destructive.) If I had just continued to rent, I might still be working today.

Stacey-good to see you here, and I bet you look smokin'!!

I live in Gilbert and our fam loves to hike. We're big Sedona fans!! How 'bout you? Glad to see a local here. Are you doing Rx? I'm gonna' use the pellets this round.

Anyway, I'm done w/ messing around. I can't seem to stick to LC and keep it clean enough to lose well. I htink the drastic calorie restriction and short range suffering of hcg will go well for me (sorry if that suffering offends anyone, I do feel very deprived in P2).

I'll be around .

Gremom and Cheryl, its down a little bit, but its green all over the top, toes and side of my foot. The swelling goes down a bit at night and then back up as soon as I get up. I am trying hard today to keep it up most of the time. The last couple of days (AS PER CHERYL'S ORDERS) I kept it wrapped most of the time to help with the edema. But it still goes up when I get up in the morning. As for the air cast, not yet... Its still pretty swollen to fit into it, but maybe tomorrow!

Julie, welcome back! No, Its not in a cast. I fell getting out of my durango, not sure how... clueless.. I think I meant to land on the running boards and instead just fell and hit the cement and twisted the crap out of my ankle. Now its all swollen and huge and greeny/purply!! I have an aircast to put on it (once the swelling goes down enough for it to fit on there) to help try to support it.

So you are coming back for another round? Good luck with it! Having a hard time with LC?? I am having a hard time with any diet. (big sighs) the foot thing threw me right back off, but attempting to fix things again today..and we will see what happens! My only answer will be needle and thread I think...

That sucks, Cathy. I'm sorry this happened to you. I think you need to tell the Dr that you are still unable to put that air boot on because there might be something else they can give you to help it heal faster.

Quick howdy!

Cheryl, sorry honey, I hope things take a turn for you for the better. My sister is in a similar boat. Its just so hard!

Cathy, ouch! What more can I say?

Mini- love the positive energy!

For those that lost, yeah, those that gain, it'll be gone soon!

Whew, I had an exhausting weekend that resulted in a 4 pound gain but considering what I ate (and drank) I'm relieved it isn't more. Friday night was amazing. I forget how much my looks have changed and no one recognized me. It was fun! Anyway, so much happened that I couldn't possible share! In one word, AMAZING!

More later. I've decided to try a week of remembering to take my drops 3x a day. I always forget, lol and I'm going to stick to 600-800 calories, very low carb. I want to see the 130s again!

They're here! My drops are here!

And, can I just just say that loading makes a HUGE difference? WOW -- I am really not hungry today at all.

I'm still considering doing one more mini load day today with the real deal hcg -- I know I won't eat very much, but given the immense difference that the load makes, I think I will do it. I want to do this round really, really by the books... and I want the best possible chance of success.... and since the weight gain is oddly not freaking me out, I think I will just do it -- and start tomorrow with protocol proper.

One more day won't matter a lot in the grand scheme of things weight wise, but it may make all the difference in my round. I was pretty darn depleted before I took the break.

I knew they wouldn't recognize you! I bet you ate it up!

I set a reminder for my pellets (and everything else, for that matter) on the calendar on my blackberry. I don't know what sort of cell phone you have, but no doubt it has a calendar. Just set it up for repeat appointments and walla!

Things will work out somehow. One way or the other, I will get from here to there and I will survive. One thing I'm doing from this day forward is sticking to an uber-strict budget. No more impulse buying on Amazon. No more frivolous buying of off-plan food and drink. I can (God-willing) save $900 this month and $1000 next month (baring breakdowns, illnesses, etc.) Please Lord! Make a way where there is none!

Julie!!!! Welcome back!!!!!!!!!!! So nice to have you aboard again!!!

Sorry the personals are a little scant today -- you know I adore all of you

I have a deep, intuitive feeling that this round is going to fix something that is broken right now with my body -- and that I am finally ready to let that happen. I think that is why I went with the extra load day --

I re-read pounds and inches, and I am really feeling the need for a good, good load this time. The extra day may be excessive, but maybe not.... in any case, it is what I decided to do.

Now I really DO feel ready to start protocol tomorrow, with no questions remaining -- and that's the way to do it -- with no reservations at all.

Thanks for the back girls!! Glad to see so many familiar faces!! you've all done so well.

I think my nice long (8 month) break from hcg has done me good. Both mentally and physically. I think my body should respond to hcg this round. I'm sticking closer to protocol too. I'm skipping the bread and slightly increasing my protein portion (4oz instead of 3.5). I also am using things like soy sauce, and worchestershire sauce to marinate my beef, mixing veggies in my chili (rotel), little tweaks like that keep me going and I don't think impact my losses. I guess we'll see.

Cheryl- I feel your pain. We're debating whether to keep our current house or let it go. Torn, seeking counsel and waiting. I offered a settlement to our second mortgager (we're 2.5years behind with them). We'd still be $100K upside down on our first if our 2nd settles, but we can afford that payment (loan mod 2 years ago) and like our home. We'll see. My point (rather roundabout way) is that I can sympathize and understand. hope you work it out.

Mini-glad you're loading. I'll bet your body is happy to have that!!

Cat-really? Falling out of your truck? Bummer!! I hope the swelling goes down. Are you on crutches? Ice it when you can - RICE - rest, ices, compression and elevation - dd (11) is always spraining her ankles and since she's a vball player I suspect we'll be dealing with this for years to come. Hang in there!!
