Connecticut sounds nice. Storms and hurricanes aside. I will have to visit you gals one day.

I lost 1.6 overnight last night even with eating 800+ calories the day before. Today I made it in at 584 calories. Can't wait to wake up and wiegh tomorrow. I can really tell these Rx pellets work. I can feel it working. I dunno why I'm immune to the Hhcg, probably the hormones. But whoopie, Ima tell you this is great. Like, I feel hunger in my stomach right now, but I don't feel compelled to eat. Sweeet!!

Missed checking in yesterday, no movement on the scale this morning but i was down one yesterday and everything is still moving in the right direction.

received one of my mail order's with my new clothes. i am finding i am in-between sizes; a couple of things need to go back...TO BIG not great considering the hassle but excellent all at the same time.

i also hate to ask...but what is popcorn cheese?? i appreciate the suggestion for broccoli but i don't know what it is. its like a packet that comes in popcorn to mix in? i honestly have never seen it...sounds interesting but I'm not big on any processed cheese. i cannot eat any velveeta, american, cheese whiz...not a fan of the weird texture.

we curled last night, was fun but a little late of a night. was wiped at work today so I'm home early. dh is very ill with a flu, seems to have left me so i am going to stick with the sauna and vitamins.

have a great day everyone, fingers crossed for continued downward movement and too big clothes!!

Great, lol, thanks Cheryl...you had to show the chocolate marshmellow...sigh.
Do they have calories ?? The Ranch or white cheddar flavor would be worth hunting down for P3, mix it with a little cream cheese, yummy! Too soon to start thinking P3??

I hope everyone is having a great Thursday!

I have never seen the chocolate or ranch flavors, but I have seen butter, white cheddar and nacho cheese. I've tried the two cheese ones. They're very salty but have a nice flavor. Here's what the ingredients and nutritional info says:

Serving size:
1/4 tsp
Servings per container:
100 (Yeah, right!)
Per Serving~
Cal: 2, fat: 0, Sodium: 75mg, Carb: 0, Pro:0,

I'll skip the ingredient list. I'm sure you can find that by googling. I used it on my 100 cal smart pop popcorn during the Omaha Weight Loss version of P2. I also spritzed the popcorn with I can't believe it's not butter spray. I logged about 20 calories for the spray and about 10 cals for the cheese powder. I don't trust ANYTHING that says it has zero everything and yet exists in the physical world.

Thank you! I guess I shouldn't have been so lazy and googled it in the first place

My daughter had popcorn today and I sneaked one bite, felt guilty, and spit it in the trash. I will save that for when I have a little leeway on the scale.

On a side note, I went to the doctor today for an ongoing issue with a pain under my left rib. Mind you I have been SEVERAL times for this issue and it finally resulted in a trip to gasto. (Checked heart several times, chest xray, etc showed nothing). I had asked the doctor if it could be my ribs and they said no. Well, after about 8 or so appts it winds up with a cool gastro doctor that proceeds to tell me what I had wondered to myself at one point.. that it is just fat pushing up and irritating my floating rib! If that wasn't motivation to get the weight off I don't know what is!! My highest weight was 155, I cannot imagine how bad the pain would have been if I was 175 or more!

Okay, that is my embarrasing story of the day.

Hello Red Hots! You all are doing great! I'm a different story. I just cannot seem to stay focused. This is hard lately and I'm wasting drops! Am I crazy for doing this?! I have wasted a half bottle. I haven't lost anything.

Hey Tay; good to see you posting.

I did the same thing at the beginning of this round...loaded two days, would go all day ok then evenings...boom, three cheats three nights in a row. I was so so so not focused!!!!

Then just told myself, one day, just do one day on track and the results will be worth it and get my head back in it. I completely understand and now that I am in the thick of it, its much easier. Seriously, I had a horribly hard time starting this round.

I am not sure what day you are on or what your stats are as I missed so much over holidays. Could you update?? Maybe someone else will have some good suggestions as well.

I think I might be more helpful with more information...did you just start a round?

Its worth it to get back on track, just one day at a time...that is what I had to do.

Keep us up to date.

I had a whoosh today, down 1.5. That helps as well.

Have a great day everyone, will check in later.

Good job, Layla.

Tay...you have so much on your plate with the boy in basic and being responsible for so much care of the grand baby. Sometimes, if we have a history of comforting ourselves with food, the diet seems like yet another thing we have in our lives that is difficult and taxing...another stressor. That makes it feel too hard. It helped me to do something kind of corny..."turn my frown upside down" and retool my thinking of the diet as something almost selfish, that I was doing for myself. I tried to think of my food, not as less desirable than other people's food, but as "special"...it was for me alone, and was what I needed. Somehow that helped me stay on plan. That and the knowledge that if I just did it, it would be done.

It isn't easy, but it's for you...be selfish about it, and do what you need to do to get what you need to get out of it.

She has all that going on PLUS moving into a new home and getting the old home ready for sale or rent! Tammy, just stop the drops and save them for when you are all moved and getting settled. I think it does more harm than good to do the drops and eat badly on a daily basis. If we are resetting our metabolisms with the hhcg, what are we resetting them "to" by doing it wrong? I'd just stop the drops and focus on what you need to do this month. Start again when life is back to somewhat normal.

I'm down my 0.4 bump from yesterday and it took 0.4 more with it! (See siggy.) On the housing news, I called the Dr's office and told them to tell him thank you for writing the letter but to go ahead and shred it. I'm going to just move and be done with this chapter of my life. It's a miracle I got to stay here for as long as I did and I'm thankful for that. Time to move on.

Hope everyone is having a good day today. Let's be kind; not just to others but to ourselves.

Hi All! Cheryl and Layla WTG!! Great losses! And you too Sass! Taylor - I have made several attempts - unsuccessful - and then finally felt like this way of eating was "right" if that makes sense. Especially when I looked at what I was eating without the hcg! I never really like the strict diet feeling, so that is something I had to work on.
Private! You are too funny! I love Geno too! We see him occassionaly. My daughter is good friends with his God daughter who lives next door to him. I love to look at his house when I drive her there! He comes to the high school basketball games once in a while too - he always looks great - dressed to a T! That is a great camp your daughter went to!
I might be missing in action for a bit. Im off to Florida tomorrow - a week earlier than I expected.
Keep up the greeaat work everyone - I will be rooting for all of you and looking for you in March!!

Poofsgirl, I keep telling my doctors something shifted in my ribs when I was pregnant and never went back. 14 years later I just deal with it. I wonder if that's a floating rib.? I will look into it. Men doctors. They don't understand that when I complain its because something is wrong. I don't take off from work and drive across town to come see them because I need someone to talk to . Sheesh.

So when I bend over in the saddle to like pull down my jeans leg or something I get a "catch" from hell. Also when gardening and bending over a certain way. Its right where the baby propped her foot for 7 1/2 months. Stupid men doctors say oh I have that its nothing. Okay did YOU have a baby? Did your body completely change after gestating and giving birth. Talk to me then, sir. Sheesh.

For those not on the rogues list I will add here:

THE RX PELLETS ARE WORKING!!!! Virgin fat territory : 163.4 pounds which is a real loss. I haven't seen this low weight in years.

I need to see losses to be able to stick to the plan. If I see losses I will remember the next day that I want to be good so I will see more loss. But if I'm stalled, like on Hhdg, after awhile I say a bad word and eat lost of popcorn or something.

For those curious, these say "C-HCG SL TABS 500/Units Tab" and they come from a pharmacy.

As to Hhcg versus real HCg. In my experience, the hhcg worked really well for one round. Then didn't work anymore. The drops nor the pellets. Of course I have a super duper hormone implant that I got right after the first Hhcg round, so that probably interfered with the hhcg for me. The real HCG is working. I have to check and see if Minimonkey is having success on the real Hcg yet. Since I switched from hhcg to real hcg in the middle of this round I can tell you I feel a difference. The HCG gives me real appetite suppression and, more important, that fast satiation (feeling full) within eating just a little bit. I was getting some appetite suppression on the hhcg pellets and drops BUT wasn't getting that fast satiation. I ate a cup of the the Dreamfields (allowed by my doc instead of melba) and I'm full as a little tick right now.

Sass, I did my round on RX drops, and that's what my husband has been doing as well. We both have had fantastic results and no hunger at all.

*OUCH* That's a long dang time for something to be sticking you in the ribs. I hope you go to a woman doctor and get the darn thing figured out. If it bothers you that much, mayber there's something that can be done about it.

Oops! Forget to tell about me! Down another 0.4 today, on my nifty homeopathic pellets. No complaints here! Went hiking with my sister today but it was more to try and find her neighbor's lost dog. It's day three and it's clear she is gone for good. No trace of her anywhere. I think someone decided they wanted her for their own. She had ID on her, so it was either that or a coyote got her.

Hey everyone, great to *see* you too Jess.

Ok, not such a great day for me. Had some cravings today...feeling my enthusiasm from yesterday wane!!!

Curled tonight, had fun. We lost lol, we are not good but it is fun and well hey, we are improving.

Im really feeling the bug to go old school with my efforts so, my plan is going to change a little. I'm rogue anyways but I NEED to get some exercise and so I am going to try a little experiment.

I will post as I decide exactly what I am going to do, still mulling it over tonight.

And Tay...I had NO idea you had so much going on!! I think the ladies are right, just stop until the timing is better. Way to much pressure on yourself with all the things you have going on in your life right now. I have a hard time staying on track and I have nothing going on really lol.

Till tomorrow, oh, no movement on the scale today but I was not surprised. I woke up with a killer headache because of the lack of water. I still have to struggle sometimes to get all my water in.

Good night everyone

I woke with a headache today, too! But mine was due to a bad dream, I think. Here it is, for your amusement:

Oh, man. What a night! I had a terrible dream that would just not end regarding my house and new owners. It's very funny in hindsight but it wasn't when I was "in it." They (a whole pack of young and old people) moved in before my time here was up. They had completely remodeled the place and turned it into a very hip (though a tad over-the-top) palace. They had put all my stuff into a heap. I tried to call the cops but couldn't find a phone. Then one of the women handed me a land line phone and it was a rotary! I dialed 911 but there was way too much going around the dial for the 1's and I knew it was not working.

Then she gave me her cell phone and I'd push what I thought was the 9 and it was an 8 or something else. I couldn't find my purse or my own phone because they had completely just basically disposed of all my things. Then when I tried to make a break for it and just call the cops from somewhere else, one of the guys (happened to be a big, burly black dude. No offense to anyone who is black reading this, please! It was just a dream) was tackling me and keeping me from leaving.

Among the changes they had made, they shredded my hot tub because it wasn't up to their standards, they put in an ocean (Yes, my back yard now had ocean frontage!), They created all these outdoor patios and places to play sports, and more stuff I don't recall. It was your typical nightmare.

At one point I knew I was dreaming and remembered in a movie I saw ("White Squall") where a boy tells another boy that if he's having a bad dream to just say to himself, "one two three WAKE UP!" But for some reason I stayed in it. I think I was just determined to find my purse and phone!

But the house had all new windows (with a lovely view of the ocean), granite counters, top-of-the-line kitchen appliances, the works. I remember one of them making a crack about my small driveway and I told them sarcastically that they could remove the front yard and just make it a parking lot.

This is helping to see how funny and ridiculous it was! Thanks for listening. I feel better now.

So, woke with a dang headache which I almost never have (thank you, Lord) and am drinking some coffee and downed 800 mg of Advil. I'll be in tip-top shape momentarily.

Up 0.8 today, but I checked back in my food journal and it was a week ago Saturday that I bumped up that same amount. Then the next day it was gone and took about 0.4 more with it. I'm cool with it.

I need to finish waking up now. I need to do something substantial today in this house, before all my stuff ends up in a heap! May we all have a very blessed and safe day today. AMEN!

Helloo Red Hots! 161.0 today! that is 3 pounds into VFT!!!

Cheryl, what a creative imagination you have!! When you get settled you should try writing short stories and send them to magazines to be published. Maybe you could make a living as a writer!!!!

That's so funny you said that, Sue. I have no imagination at all, but my dreams (when I'm going through something emotionally challenging) can get wild. I actually used to dream (during waking hours) of being a writer. All my life. I even took a few creative writing classes in the past few years, in Adult Ed. I don't work at it enough. They say to "show, don't tell" and I can't seem to get the hang of that. My writing is all "tell."

I had more crazy dreams last night. Just a cursory review, I dreamed I was working in some sort of nasty fish processing factory, and I was preparing octopus! I had to take one of their tentacles and run it carefully under each of the other tentacles to remove some sort of film. It started to disintegrate and they told me to put in on ice and it would come back together. I never took it back out of the ice and I decided that was going to be my last day working there.

Then I dreamed I was robbed (purse snatched.) They took my money (I have three envelopes in my purse with cash for food, gasoline and pet food/supplies.) I was going through the envelopes (got the purse back somehow) and two of the three were empty but they missed a couple hundred dollar bills in the third one. There was a receipt in the envelope and the bills were crisp and stuck to the receipt.

Lastly I dreamed that Cisco's tail fell off! (My dog. I remember picking it up while being skeeved out and putting it in the trash. All she had left was a little pointy nubbin.) That was because of the incident the other day where her tail must have had a little blister on it and she bled all over my sister's house before we noticed there was a problem. She's such a happy dog that her tail got traumatized from hitting things as she wags! OMG. I should write these down. (Well, I kind of am!) I'll try and put these posts about the dreams into a word doc and save them for future ha-ha's.

Gotta get busy for the day. See siggy for the latest news. Be back later! Hugs and love to all!

Privatediva, that is a wonderful way of framing this diet. It is absolutely right on, I think, for all of us!!!
By the way, this avatar picture of you is ABSOLUTELY stunning. You look beautiful!!!!!
