aww...love to have a p2 buddy, but at the same time sad you have to go to it.

right now i am eating a most HEAVENLY meal!!

300 g zucchini noodles, 6 oz chicken, 1/2 cup no sugar added pasta sauce (hunts brand), parmesan cheese on top. HUGE portion and VERY filling!! 308 cals. then i will have a bag of 100 cal popcorn later this afternoon. and between 5 and 6 i will have 2 hard boiled eggs and a string cheese. 628 cals for the day. most cals i have had in awhile i think. may try to just have the eggs and leave the cheese. that would leave me at 548 cals. we'll see.

yes...still just weighing once a week.

Wow that sounds great! Sounds like you're still doing that smaller window of eating? I'll be real interested to hear how your weigh in comes out, tomorrow right? I'm going to keep with the once a week too, it's just so much less stressful. Although I probably will weight in Monday just to have a starting point.

I've been thinking about this for a couple weeks now trying to figure a way around it, so maybe the realization of this is what I need to do to get there will give me the commitment to really go for it. I'm ready and willing to go for it

What's the cruise date again?

yes...only eating between 10 and 5/6 pm (altho i DO still have my coffee with HH first thing in am still). i like it. weigh tomorrow, yes.

so hope you have a fabulous round! i think my LDW will be on or around aug 13. wonder how that works. i'll put a patch on aug 13 then take it off aug 16 at 7pm...do 2 days vlcd, day 1 of p3 aug 19. when would LDW be in your opinion?

we fly to seattle on aug 30 and hop on da boat aug 31.

I think that would make LDW Aug 16th.

If I do a 21 day round that would make my LDW around the 20th so we'll be neck & neck And I say if only because it might be longer if I'm not quite there yet, but I'm going for the 21 days for sure.

Are you counting your HH in your calories? And are you back doing the FF or just regular. That's one thing I have decided about yet.

I'm actually getting excited about getting there now!

I am naughty...I don't count the HH. naieve of me probably...but that's just the way I do it.

my macros are generally 20-30g fat, 55-62g protein, 30-40 net carbs.

Morning Bud!
Well at least I was down .90 from last Friday so all is not lost. I start loading tomorrow. Hope to keep it low carb.

I went to Walmart and picked up the Tilapia and some shrimp. I'm going to build my menu around 100-150 calories of lean protein per meal.

How'd you do?

weighed this morning. down 6.2 from last friday morning. sitting .2 from a different decade of number!!

my only issue. beginning yesterday late afternoon maybe. i feel so exhausted. i slept really great last night and for longer than i normally do and i just feel so weak...my arms and legs just feel so heavy, which to me is a weak feeling. i have been keeping my protein and fat above protocol levels, so i don't know what to think. hunger levels are totally manageable at the lower amounts, but i wonder if it's just not enough. i'd like to not have to raise them.

Nice job! I'll bet your body is just catching up with the big loss. When I feel that way I find potassium really helps.

Now I'm real excited to start P2

Thanks. I have decided to make TODAY ONLY a 1000 cal high protein, high fat day. Sort of a once a week controlled refeed. may or may not weight tomorrow only to see if there was ill effects.

I figure, if it slows me down for a day or two, that is better then getting overwhelmed and wanting to give up, which is what thoughts I was flirting with last night.

We rescued an owl once. Called the shelter & they told us to rush it over. Apparently they need a shot to keep them from dying of shock. So we did. He went to a zoo, where he's the "breeder" because his wing had to be amputated... just thought I'd let you know. Shock is why most birds we rescue die.
Great pics! They are such beautiful animals!

Thanks for sending me over here!

Wow, that bird is spectacular! What kind is it? You'd think I'd know that, but my avian expertise is pigeons and doves, and I know almost nothing about birds of prey... I hope it will recover quickly!

Most birds are docile when injured, but not nearly so much when feeling well -- I know this is true of pigeons. They are so sweet when they need you, and the minute they are feeling better, it's all pecking, grunting, and wing whacking! That's when you know they are on the mend.

I have a few that have remained very tame, but they were rescued as babies or juveniles -- the adults generally prefer to be as independent as they can. They don't seem to realize that they are still disabled -- but they have all adapted to living in domestic care relatively well.

I can't imagine holding such a magnificent creature! I feel awe even with the pigeons -- knowing that I am holding a wild bird in my hands. It still blows my mind that the tame ones were once feral, and have come to love and accept me -- I feel a lot of awe at G-d's creatures, great and small.

the hawk didn't make it thru the night. my friend thought she had simply been without food and water too long. makes me sad, but am glad we tried to help her and that she didn't have to die along the side of the road.

Sorry about your hawk What a beautiful experience you got to share it's last day though.

on your weigh in. I bet you'll feel a lot better going forward.

Took my first pellets this morning, high hopes! Just to keep the loading at bay.

enjoy your load days!

texted a bit with my friend again this morning. she talked with the rehab lady this morning and it sounds like she may have also had west nile virus based on how my friend described how she was acting last night to the rehaber. sooo, the poor gal had a lot going against her.

305 cals!!

a 60 calorie pita. each half stuffed with chicken and lettuce with some light miracle whip a little guy's BBQ sauce on top. 2 wedges of chipotle & fresco laughing cow cheese, the little pile of chicken is what was left of my 6oz that didn't fit in the pita. 2 spears of sf bread & butter pickles.

still have a strawberry & coconut milk smoothie and a chicken (6oz more) - yellow squash noodle plate with sf pasta sauce on top left for the day!!

total cals for the day 602!

By the time I saw your post about the hawk, it had gone. I was sorry that I hadn't been able to pray for it to be a part of your lives and then I thanked the Lord that he brought it into your life; you were able to give it kindness in its last day and if it had west nile that he didn't allow it to touch your family. I don't know if it even works that way, but these were my thoughts and prayers

I'm loading way more carb then I intended. I don't know why. I don't want them; I just think "I'll have this because I can't have it when I start." Trying hard not to gain before I start losing, not sure it's working. I don't think I'll weigh in Monday, just wait 'till Friday. This once a week weigh in is the best idea you've ever had, it takes so much stress off the table.

Hope you have a great day tomorrow!

good morning, bud!

thank you for your thoughts and prayers. my friend WNV is only transmitted by mosquitos. so, am thankful for that.

so we went to a county fair with my sister and her fam last night. we ate out before. i had a basic no-s type meal. but will have a nice long fast before i eat anything today. i didn't weigh. but i don't "feel" like it did too much damage.

hope your loading goes more to your liking today. i totally understand the eating of carbs when you'd rather keep it lower carb. something about carbs and loading....i dunno...but, i get it.

have a great sunday!
