woe...cals 500-800....use yogurt....eat a bit of fat....nothing specific, i guess. just a calorie range.
here's what i am planning today: coffee with hwc (don't measure and isn't part of my total calorie count....weird, i know, but this doesn't seem to be a problem) lunch: 1 package budding turkey (90 cal), 1 stick pepper jack cheese (90 cal), strawberry smoothie/sorbet thingy (1 cup frozen strawberries, 1/4 c coconut milk, 1/2 cup almond milk, 1 wild strawberry crystal light packet....water if needed -- total cal 162) supper: 4oz chicken (120 cal), 2T light miracle whip (40 cal), mustard, apple (80 cal), snack whenever: dannon greek yogurt plain w/ sweetener and vanilla (80 cal) total cals: 682 cal |

Sounds Yummy!
That's what I'm going to spend some time on this week so I can go forward with a solid plan to stick to and not have to spend too much time thinking about during. I don't think I'm going do protocol food as the last time the strawberries and breadstick for breakfast just about put my blood sugar through the roof, probably a little more lean protein in the way of yogurt and eggs, maybe protein powder in the way of smoothies with fruit & veggies. I'm going to look up Fat Flush WOE and see how that fits in. From what I remember the basics are 8oz meat, two pieces fruit, two eggs, smoothie with protein powder, fruit & flax oil and unlimited low glycemic veggies. Also lemon and cranberry water. I remember it to be a feel good cleansing program that was a little hard to stick to because of the low cal, but effective. I'm wondering if it would make a good pairing with HCG. I think I need a little more structure if I'm going to stick with it this time and make it to goal. I may just make up my own WOE rules with a combination of what I know to be the good stuff my body responds too and feels good with. |

i think coming up with your own plan sounds good....i believe that as long as a low calorie range is maintained along with hcg, weight loss will happen, so you might as well make those calories ones you are happy with and that are satisfying.

I agree with that!! I even lost on Fat Fast for goodness sakes. I also think sometimes it's takes a shake up to keep the losses coming (at least for me). I think I'll start with low fat and then flip to high fat all within the 500-1000 calorie range if I stall. Unless I change my mind between now and then of course

gooooood morning!
hope you had a great day yesterday! i am down 3.4 this morning. happy about that. was *quite* hungry when i went to bed. i s'pose b/c i didn't do an actual load. i didn't ever eat the yogurt i had planned. i was going to, then it was time for my evening dose so was going to eat it after that, then wasn't as hungry after i took my dose so went to bed....got really hungry after i went to bed. can't decide if i should do a 1000 cal fat fast today. or if i should just eat a few more cals. i ended the day at 608 cals. maybe i'll just try a few more cals in the way of protein and if i'm still way hungry i'll stick a fat fast in. |

Nice drop! A fat fast would help curb the appetite. I think I'm going to try and think of it as starting the HCG two days before I start the diet, rather than loading. We'll see if I can keep from over indulging that way. I finally weighed in today. Can't imagine what it was a couple days ago. I'm just going to remember that 1. Its HH week and 2. It'll be leaving soon. I'm going to continue to stick with low carb to try and edge down heading towards Monday. I'm definitely getting motivated now! Starting to plan my menu. The Fat Flush is based on 1000 to 1200 calories per day. I think if I use that as a base for up days and pare down for down days (like cutting back some of the flax oil and egg yolks) it might work. Haven’t completely decided yet. Probably won’t know ‘till Monday morning. One of my big questions is whether I’m going to include grains or not. (Fat Flush doesn’t) I’m going to look at things like oatmeal and consider it. Having popcorn to fall back on as a snack would be nice. But I’m trying to come up with a solid, livable plan that will work, not just see what I can get away with. When I did Weight Watchers I had grains and lost fine. It’s a combo of lower fat and calories and higher fiber. What to do, what to do. ![]() |

i'm not doing grains everyday. i did buy some 50 cal lc tortillas i will use. and also granola...have actually been making my own granola.
i'm not sure what i'll do for maintenance.... i'm just going to get thru hcg first. no, i have thought a little about it....will probably try JUDDD only my DD's will be over half of UD cals. so if my UD cals are 1650, my DD cals will be 800-1200. but i have time t figure that out yet. |

yes, it seems you do great with maintenance with balancing fat/protein.
so here's what i have planned for today: had breakfast today to see if that helps with hunger later on. B: 1egg + 2 egg whites, 5 turkey smokies, 2T light sour cream, smidge of coconut oil to cook with. L: my strawberry smoothie made with 1/4 c hwc instead of coconut milk (raised cals from 162 to 272), 4oz chicken, 1 cheddar cheese stick. S: fat free yogurt total calories for the day: 794 |

Sounds very yummy! No supper? That's one thing I have a hard time with. DH wants his traditional supper. Just over the last few years have I gotten him away from having to have starch included every night. That's why I was thinking about waiting to do another round when he was traveling more, but that's probably a couple months out and the scale changed my mind.
He is getting into my Fat Flush book I had out and is getting excited about that, so that might lean me back to using that as a base. Bottom line I need to go with what will work for me for the duration as his motivation comes and goes. Really I can make any of these plans work together as a couple with little tweaks for me. I guess I'm a certified diet pro. At least certifiable ![]() |

I have a little cheat sheet I made for DH when we did it years ago that basically outlines the daily food. I'll try to remember to PM it to you from my home computer later. The book has a lot of good, sound nutrition advice that I've found useful throughout the years. I.e. when we were trying to figure out why apple cider vinegar was so good from you, that's where I found my info.
In case you hadn’t noticed I’m a bit of a nutrition info junkie. |

It's actually called Fat Flush by Louise Gettleman (sp) If you Google fat flush you'll find it. Here's a link to her site. It's obviously big business now.

I'm real happy with that. I think I weighed 125 on my wedding day, so I'll call it a pound of well earned weight for each of my three children |

Okay, after some thought and rooting around in the fridge Silly, but I was a little encouraged that I was only up .20 after pizza. Kind of felt like all was not lost. |

good morning! fat fast looks great!
am down 0.4 this morning. could NOT get to sleep last night so missed out on over 2hrs sleep. my legs were soooo achy from standing all day. i finally got up and took some ibuprofen. hoping my lesser loss was from my salad at lunch yesterday and maybe being a little too salty. just glad i didn't gain.my friend didn't end up coming over, therefore no pizza and wings to dodge. dh made spaghetti for supper...so i had a small portion of zucchini noodles with a bit of hamburger and sauce....a little parmesan on top. a fat free yogurt. and a few baby carrots. it was actually a very hcg meal. having supper guests tonight. but dh is smoking a pork loin, so not biggy there...just have a small amount. not sure about breakfast and lunch yet. |

Good Morning,
A .40 loss after lunch and lack of sleep is awesome! WTG!! I'm down .60 after Fat Fast. I usually get my best loss from FF after the second day, so I'm going to try and do another day today. I have lunch out today myself. Planning on doing a shrimp caesar with no croutons. Will do 1 egg, 1 yoke and 1/2 avocado for breakfast and maybe my pepperoni cheese crust pizza for dinner. Then tomorrow is our big night out with friends. We're going to a Japanese steak house were they cook in front of you. There will be Sake. This will be my first load day. Have a great day!! |

It's my favorite FF treat. Easy & quick.
1-1/2 cheese - I usually get some kind of shredded sharp cheddar, but so far any cheese will do. 1/3 oz Pepperoni - I like the little mini rounds, otherwise cut it into about 1/2" pieces. 1T tomato pesto 3 sliced black olives In a nonstick frying pan shape the cheese in a round pizza shape and fry on medium until golden and holds together to flip. Flip it to set top, the more you set the other side the crisper it will be. Flip onto a piece of foil, top with pesto, pepperoni & olives. Pop in the toaster oven for a couple minutes at 300° degrees to crisp the pepperoni. Watch close at this point, it's easy to burn. Let cool for just a min for cheese to recrisp. 292 Calories 82% Fat 26.8 grms 15% Protein 10.8 grms 3% Carbs 2.3 grms |

Morning Girly Girl,
Well I didn't end up doing a FF, in fact I had a "not on anybody’s diet" lunch out. But then just a steak for dinner. Plus I didn't keep up on my water. I was still down .40. So tells me FF was a success. Preload weight puts me 10.7 away from goal. HH week is over and I'm ready to hit the losing trail! How's your day starting out? Are you in the hospital this weekend? |

I never posted a final pic, so here's my GOAL pic.
![]() BMI 20.0 I start P3 in the morning...and boy am I looking forward to that! All is well so far but I was a little hungrier last night already, so I ate an extra 120 cals of protein before bed. It didn't hurt anything, still on my weight this morning, but I have a feeling I might be pretty hungry tonight. |
