Two correction days in a row or...
should I do a P3 day in between?
I'm quite a bit above my window (3.4 lbs, so 5.4 over LDW ) and would like to get back down to my window... just not sure the best way to manage it.Is it bad to do CDs two days in a row? It seems like I might have better success if I put a P3 day in between? I would love to hear your thoughts/experiences! TIA! |

Most people do a day of eating "clean" after a correction day. (Eating clean has different meanings to different folks, but usually centers around keeping the carbs very low and not adding in anything new that day).
Some people will do 2 cd's back to back but make sure they are different cd's--chicken legs one day, greek yogurt the next, that type of thing. |

I've done it. No loss on 2nd day.
What seems to work better is the clean eating thing. Proteins, veggies, fats; and limiting the nuts and cheeses a bit. |

I second what Red said - when I've tried back to back CDs - I have minimal to no loss the second day - now if I sandwich a clean eating day between two CDs - I seem to do better.

I haven't been real good at the clean eating thing lately. I do well until the afternoon/evening and then blow it. Sometimes I'm just better with more strictness, ya know? I think I'll try and plan out my meals (ones I really like) for tomorrow, so maybe I'll have better success eating clean. Quote:
I'm hoping/planning on doing another round (hopefully truly a final round) in 2 1/2 weeks, so my DH thinks I should just try and maintain until then. Not a bad idea, but I would still like to be a little closer to my LDW from my last round before starting a new one.

Well... I couldn't do the GY all day. I've done it before, but by dinner I just couldn't hang in there. SO... I had 2 1/2 oz. mixed nuts (almonds, pecans, and peanuts*). Then, I had a cup of Coconut Hot Cocoa after dinner.
Woke up to a 2.6 lb. loss! So glad I didn't get into some of the other treats I was tempted to have. Now I'm only 0.8 lb above my window. I'll try to eat clean today, and re-evaluate tomorrow morning. *I know peanuts are technically a legume and can be problematic, but they've never caused me a problem (thankfully) which is why I went ahead and had some. |
