Forgive me forum, for I have gained

Last round ended with a whimper. I was ravenously hungry and had an 'eat everything in sight' day the day before the last day of pills, which I'm certain didn't help. I did my two phase-off days impatiently.

And then my boyfriend's niece passed away and I lost all control in the emotional rollercoaster and long days out of the house that followed. And at the same time my sister turned 30 with her party a 5 hour drive away, the funeral was the next day (another 5 hour drive), and I was ninja-assigned a new role at work that entailed a lot of stress and long hours this week. Long story short, I gained back nearly everything I lost in that round, in a matter of about a week.

I did a pure meat day yesterday and dropped an astounding 5 lbs. I'm doing another meat day today and hoping to hit another 2-3 if I'm lucky. So i won't have gained back everything by the time I hit the new round on Sunday.

I plan to reload, even though it hasn't been a full 2 weeks, because I've been sufficiently stressed out that I feel I need the fat stores.

It's been a terrible week and a half, let me tell you.

Hugs. I know the feeling, this same thing happened to me too. So don't feel too bad, we all make mistakes. Your next round will be stellar!

On an aside RileyWorm, I love your avatar and totally agree. My old Boxer Elmo always made everything better with a lean and snuggle.

Thank you! Boxers are a wonderful breed. Hearts made of gold and childish personalities. I love them! Mine is named Riley (hence my screen-name), 4yo female we adopted.

Huge hugs to you, Errihu! I am so sorry to hear life has been so rough to you

On the weight front, a lot of that gain has to be water, or you wouldn't have dropped so much so quickly.

I'll be starting a protocol round of non-homeopathic-hcg drops on Monday (assuming I get my shipment as scheduled), so we can do this together. I got hit with a huge gain after moving to p3 for a brief interruption, so I feel your pain on that front too.

I haven't quite decided how to handle loading or not loading -- I'm thinking of doing a couple of very low carb load days, and calling it good to go... or perhaps starting the hhcg again for the weekend, and letting that suffice as a load. I'm leaning towards the second option, because I am antsy to get started with the p2 as soon as I can, and I don't want to risk further gains.

Know that you can do this, and that you'll probably see very quick losses the first week, since the water weight will be falling right off

I feel for you--you have had an incredibly difficult few weeks. I hope you feel better soon, and that the weight loss comes along with it.

Hi errihu, sure can identify with your journey. dh and I are restarting our round. FINALLY got our hcg, the other hhcg we were taking just was not doing the trick. We were starving despite everything we tried to do (changing dosages, times etc).
We also had a refridgerator decide that it didn't wanna cool or freeze for a few days. (Long story about living in a Motorhome and finding repair sites for appliances) We restarted yesterday with a low carb load soooooooo here we are again. I have very little to lose, hoping to firm up and dh is on his journey to lose another 30 to 50 pounds.
Hope things have de-stressed some for you and that you are now on the road to success again.
Betty
