Sick during P2

I went to bed last night with a fever and woke up to a temp of 102. I have strep throat and I'm in the middle of P2.

Has anyone ever been sick while doing P2? Did you change things up while your body healed (like more protein, etc.) or did you just keep going on protocol?

I haven't eaten anything since yesterday at lunch, but that's because I can hardly swallow. After getting my antibiotics, I finally broke my fever during an afternoon nap and actually feel a lot better. I'm just trying to figure out what to do tomorrow. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks.

You have two choices, to stop (take an unsched break or full break) or to keep going. Since you're feeling better I would try to stick it out but if you feel like you just cant do it you can take an unsheduled break... Strep is very bad I had itonce and it kicked my behind. It's really up to you but if you want more info read pounds and inches I think theres something in there on sickness and hcg. Hope you feel better.

WOE: Lowish carb (formerly on Protein Power)
That happened to me in my second round and I ended the round completely. Ate as close to P3 style as I could for the time I was sick and two weeks following. I wanted to make sure I was getting enough protein for my body to completely heal. Had I only been sick for a couple of days, I probably would have just taken a week off (per Dr. S's planned interruption) and then got right back on. But I was sick for over a week and on antibiotic, so felt it was important I take the longer time to heal.
