Questions for those who DID NOT GAIN during Load Days
1) What did you eat exactly? (Not just calories, fat, protein, etc... but did you eat homemade sf ice cream? Big Macs? A tub of butter? Nuts and avacados? BBQ ribs from your favorite restaurant? Etc...)
2) How frequently/how much did you eat? 3) How long did you load? 2 days? 3 days? 4) And last but not least, are you male or female? Thanks! |

1) Whatever I wanted and knew I would miss! I had McDonalds Bacon/Egg/Cheese Biscuit with hasbrown and a mocha for breakfast, buffalo chicken sub with ranch and chips at Subway for lunch, for dinner I shared an appetizer platter from Friday's (potato skins with bacon and sour cream, hot wings with ranch, mozzarella sticks with marinara) and had a beer. I lost 4.2 lbs that first day. The next day I had a 3 egg ham and cheese omelette and fried potatoes for breakfast, a huge bacon cheeseburger with the works including mayo and fries and cheese balls from Culver's for lunch, and a deep dish pizza with all the meats with potato chips for dinner. I ended up gaining a bit, but that first day loss kept it right around where I started.
2) I just ate whenever I was hungry (or thought I was hungry). Normal breakfast/lunch/dinner times. 3) Loaded 2 days. 4) I am female I haven't been hungry (at least not "real" hunger...just some "head" hunger when I'm bored or see my kids eating something bad for me) at all. Week 2 didn't see much loss (a couple of gain days, actually) but since this is my first round, I don't know if that is normal for me or something to do with what I am eating or ate during loading days. Hope that helps you out!

Thanks for sharing. I wonder if the three regular meal times helps prep the body for the diet. I'm trying to see what people may have done differently from me, since I gained about 8 lbs my last two loads. I was always more of a snacker though... gradually eating my food throughout the day. Well, it's a theory anyway. I wonder what anybody else may have to say. |

I am female. I lost 6.5 lbs during my 3 day load. I ate bacon, eggs, sausage, guacamole, steaks, cheese, nuts, peanut butter, SF cheesecake, full fat salad dressing, olives, buffalo wild wings with the rub not sauce, bleu cheese dressing and celery. Polish sausage. I made mousse with cocoa, heavy cream, vanilla and splenda.
My husband did the same load as I did and lost nearly 12 lbs in 3 days. |
