Question on Melbas

I couldn't find the regular size Melbas, only "melba snacks". Can someone tell me how many calories are in 1 regular size melba so I know how many of these to eat per day?

These are 60 calories for 4.

Thanks! Cindy T

when I get the round "snack" I usually have 2 per a serving, calories around 24 for those 2. So then you could have 4 a day, not together at once.

Yup, I was told by Doc 1 melba toast or 2 rounds twice a day. My question is about the grissini. Is all grissini created equal as far as Dr simeon is concerned? Sesame or garlic. They all say authentic grissini but are made with olive oil?

I try to aim for 40-50 calories per DAY of starch. So however many grissini/melba make up that much is how many I eat. The little thin grissini (smaller than a pencil and about 9 inches long) are usually 10 calories each. I am assuming the big ones are about twice that so 20 calories each. Not sure about the melbas...

Grissini to me is Grissini. I don't discriminate. Any flavor you can find is just fine. I get the plain ones, but that is me.

I agree on 18 to 25 cal per serving, or 36 to 50 cal per day.
