K need some support for phase 3
Hi and Iam new to all this thread stuff and it looks like you all support each other really well with some great advice and comments.
I am on day 2 of the no HCG and one more to go. I made the choice to end round 1 as I found myself plateauing quite frequently. I am very pleased to my results. I lost 31.2lbs in 42 days. My sister in law lost 53lbs in 3 months but she also said she went through alot of plateaus and I figure its probably best to give my body the 3 week break and then start round 2. I was surprised to see that chicken is high in starch, I guess I had just never thought about it before. To tell you the truth Iam a little nervous that I am going to eat the wrong thing considering all the foods are just loaded with crap. The last few days or maybe even the last two weeks of phase 2 I cheated and ate a weight watchers meal but made sure it was super low in sugar (1g per serving) and my wieght stayed the same and I did that for a couple of days in a row and still maintained my wieght. To boot it was the marinara noodles with a bit of cheese. Sooooo yummy and broke my craving to cheat hard. There is now a 200 cal weight watchers meal which is turkey and potatoes with gravy and is super yummy too. Something else I dont quite understand about phase two now reading safe and unsafe foods in phase 1 is oranges being an unsafe food because of high sugar content. Is this because your body needs some sort of sugar on a VLCD??? Anyway I just would like some recipes that are going to help satisfy my craving for pasta dishes. I need to find an app for my IPhone so that when Iam in the grocery store I can look up a food and it will tell me point blank. If anyone has found one could you please let me know. Now reading a little more posts it only confuses me more....be patient with me. after Iam done p2, I take 3 days where I continue with the VLCD and then Iam on p3 right? and that lasts for 21 days....so what is p4??? is that just where normal life pops back into view??? and my last question is how long after p3 do I have to wait to start round 2?
I need a magic genie to write me out a 7 day a week menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner hahahaha so I dont screw up my 42 days of amazing will power... Sorry for the long post earlier....just new here. But HELP!! |

Hi Jackie,
I don't see anyone else posting here. Some people use zucchini instead of noodles, look up the thread called zoodlers. It's much better to cook your own fresh food in my opinion. How may I help and encourage you? |

Newbie poster
I'm new to posting on this site. It looks like some good support and information is available here. I am on the first day of the 3 days vlcd with no hcg. I started the vlc part of the hcg diet on May 3rd and lost 19.2 pounds. I will go on to do another round or two starting in September.
I do not know how to add a picture on here and I wanted to change my user name. Can anyone help me out with that info.? Pam |

Calories on Phase 3
How many calories are you allowed on phase 3? I finished my 1st round of HCG and lost 18lbs. Did 1200 cal on phase 3 and maintained for 30 days. Started second round of HCG. Wanna make sure I am doing the inbetweens right.
