Oops! Posted that on the wrong thread. See what happens when you do these things before the crack of dawn?

Anyways...rounding out my third round here. This morning I saw another nice drop, 0.7, which at this stage is great. I am now 2.3 pounds from my ultimate goal but we will see if I can hold this weight until and after LDD. Last round I mysteriously gained my last two days on plan but I do think that was primarily due to an ovredose of vitamin c and the ensuing digestive disturbances...

Well, after spending an entire 7 days at 129.8, I lost 2.2 lbs yesterday to 127.6, and this morning was up a pound to 128.6.

But I'll keep plugging away, although unfortunately I have to do an interruption in 7 days from now (hope that doesn't screw things up!). I finished my last round at 126, so I hope I can at least get there before the interruption.

I'm finding this round less intolerable than previous rounds, so I'm really going to try to make this my last round and hang in there as long as possible.

I am down zero this morning, but I am down 3.6 my first week of R3P2, which is pretty standard losses for me, so I am happy girl. Gotta keep the momentum going!!!

Morning! Down 2 pounds this morning.. kinda puzzled cause TOM came yesterday, but maybe I was retaining a little water. Today is VLCD 21 for me, and my losses are 23.5 pounds! I will continue for one or two more weeks and see where I land. P3 is going to be a HUGE deal for me.. I have got to make it stick and stabilize this time. I've discovered that I can't just wing it and think everything will be fine.
Hope everyone has a great day!

day 11 here down a total of 7.5

very very moody and depressed though, taking B complex going to add potassium today.

I battle depression and have been drug free for 17 months so it's important to me to try and work through it...I know its dietary right now so that's half the battle.

hugs

On my first VLCD (R2VLCD1) today - loaded yesterday and Saturday, didn't gain any weight (and I even ate pizza and beer last night!) - maybe eventually I will be able to maintain with occasional "treats" - that would be NICE!

I am hoping to lose 10 pounds this round - so here goes ...

DN - Depression sucks! Have you tried sam-e? That has helped immeasurably with my mood swings and anxiety. Also, 5-htp at night.

Today is my day #1 too. Good luck to us all. I was hoping that I could occasional treats as well and be good. But alas, here I am re-losing weight. Oh, well, there is always the hope that one day I can.

Nikki - read Stop Alzheimer's Now!: How to Prevent & Reverse Dementia, Parkinson's, ALS, Multiple Sclerosis & Other Neurodegenerative Disorders by Bruce Fife - some good information about the role nutrition (especially fats and in particular MCT fats) plays in depression.

I am finding this book fascinating, and although fats are off limits for the duration of P2, once I finish this round my husband and I are going to start incorporating more coconut oil (a good source of the MCT fats) into our diet.

I did notice that during my first round I got a pretty nasty cold sore (not typical, but then I normally apply coconut oil to my face daily) and I got a cold (and I almost NEVER get a cold) - I think the lack of fats depressed my immunity - and according to the book the lack of fats could be creating a brain-lack of glucose ...

Anyway, read the book and see what you think.

I forgot to weigh yesterday AND didn't take my weekly rest day from injections, what an airhead I am!

Fortunately, after having what looked like and felt like TOM stalls and slight gains (despite the fact that I feel like I'm going to start any minute but there's no change in sight) my weight precipitously dropped after the weekend, down 25.8 pounds to 181.6.

I want to transition to P3 badly, after 34 days of this I'm ready, but I know as soon as I start my VLCD/no hCG days that the witch it going to show and I'm going to have to go back on injections to stabilize. I'm so torn about what to do! Honestly, though I want to get into P3 I think it is a better bet to just stick with my original plan and wait out my period. But I'm three days late for it (no positive pregnancy test, so that's not a worry) and the hCG has made my cycles wonky, so the waiting game is getting awfully confusing and feeling endless.

The upside of all this waiting and refusing to quit P2 is that I do keep losing weight, just a lot more slowly than I'd like and with many more stalls. Oh well!

Happy Monday!

Stayed the same today - hoping for a loss tomorrow, which could be my last dosing day - sitting at 134.2 - really wanted to get to 130 - but the losses this round have been slow - not sure if tomorrow will be my last dose day or not. P3 is looking good right now, though during the week it isn't as hard to say on P2 as the weekends - so I might make it an extra day!

I'm the same as yesterday, but weighed 2 hours earlier, so I am thinking I'm maybe going to show a loss tomorrow? maybe? So far, in 20 completed VLCdays I am down 15.6 pounds, including loading weight. Not my best round, by far, but I'll take it. My body seems to not be wanting to blow through this previous setpoint. I think I have about 10 more days or so of shots so unless I just get *tired* of this and bail in a few days, I'll go as long as I have shots. I'd like to get down a bit more and hit my last LIW - since menopause messed me up and unset me + holiday gain... ugh!

On a better note, at least my jeans fit nicely again!!!! They don't feel spraypainted on!

Now that is what I call a NSV!!! WooHoo C'Marie!!! Love the feeling of nice fitting jeans. I hate weighing in at different times. That happened to me when I went from working a "normal" shift at work to working breakfast....Ugh!!!! Hated the 2 hour weigh in earlier time, but I have gotten used to the getting up 2 hours earlier too

Long time no see

Hi ladies,

It's been quite a long time since I've been on the boards. I lost quite a bit of weight with Atkins in 2005 in preparation for my wedding but since that time I've concentrated more on having children, my marriage and my career than I have on my weight and thus I gained everything back with a little bonus for the fun of it.

Now that I have turned 40 I decided it was time to get more serious about my weight and hcg seemed to make great sense for me as during my pregnancies I actually lost weight in the first and second trimesters and also rarely was hungry. I always joke that pregnancy was the easiest diet I've ever done.

So, here I am. I loaded on Saturday and Sunday and gained one pound and today is my first very low calorie day. I'm planning a shorter round, I can't see making it 40 or more days, and I'm just hoping to lose around 15 pounds and then stabilizing and seeing where to go from there. In total I'd like to lose 50 pounds but slow and steady wins the race, right?

It feels good to be back and I'm looking forward to all the great advice I'm sure you ladies have for me.

I'm up .4 today, but TOM showed up so I don't feel too bad (usually I gain a couple pounds at least for TOM).

My dh was up a couple pounds yesterday & today too. He keeps thinking he can have "just a little" of this/that/the other thing. I can't seem to get through to him that he isn't to do that! He's so stubborn!

Dawn ....nice to see you! I was wondering where you went!
I am down 10 pounds after 19 days, however the weekends have not been easy and I have gone off plan.
So I am planning on starting today and I would like to go 2 more weeks, with no cheating!!!!

Let's commit to the plan!!! 100%--no off days. I think that would help me a lot. Be more accountable. I have had some hard days too. Just they wouldnt' stop I would go off and say tomorrow and then tomorrow would come and I would be off again, and I would just repeat the cycle I have to finish a round the right way so I can do P3 and get off this crazy ride!!!

Thanks for inviting me Shelby

Today is day 1 for me and so far I'm doing ok. Looking foreword to the scale in the morning.

I've eaten EXACTLY on protocol, drank 100+ ounces of water and several cups of tea. Getting ready to go cook dinner

Can't stay out of the bathroom. I could save alot of time and trouble and just pour my water directly in the toilet, but I guess that wouldn't help much

I hope everyone is doing well!
