If I had ice cream here at work I probably would have! The hhcg is wearing off, all right! Hopefully tomorrow after my gi-normous P3 breakfast, these demons will stop chasing me! Thanks Kari!

I'm on VLCD 12 today and I went up .4 lbs. However, I think my jeans are fitting differently (I've had to hike up the waist quite a bit today). I know some people stall on the scale and readjust inches wise, but is it possible to increase and readjust? It just doesn't seem logical to increase in weight but lose fat.

It's quite likely that the little bump up isn't really weight. Hormones, water, scale inaccuracy, something like that, I would venture to guess. I know that I re-distributed inches all over the place in my last P3/4 and I was up and down everywhere between 152 and 157 the whole time--a lot more than 0.4 but I still lost inches.

I'm down 1.2 today

A little nervous since today I'll be away from home at lunch time for the first time. I'll be taking my lunch, my vitamins, my Rx cream and 2 bottles of water all with me. Since dh will be with me, he'll pick something up for him and we can either stop at a park or eat in the car, but I'm not up to sitting in a fast food place quite yet.

I hope everyone breezes right through this day with no issues

For now, the fact that none of my pants are tight anymore ! YAY! and I see the scale moving downward is present and celebration enough!

Congrats--looking forward to your photos!
Every time this happens to me my son tells me "you need a belt". Why don't I ever think of that I am not a belt person, but my DH wears one every day. I need to pull mine out and see what I think of them. I would just rather move to another size in jeans though. Good thing I have quite a range in my closet

The goal with the Leptin Reset/Rx is to become leptin sensitive.

How do I know when I am no longer leptin resistant?

Changes in appearance: Your hair and nails will improve in color and presentation. Your pedicurist will notice you have less dead skin on your feet. Your face will look a lot better, with softer skin and better color, especially if you use olive oil or coconut oil on your skin.

Changes in mood, personality, and thoughts: You will become more thoughtful, more mindful, and less explosive in explosive environments. If you decide to add mindfulness to your reset, (you should) you will notice tremendous changes in your thinking and your ability to learn and comprehend things. Your insight, intuition, and mental acuity will be sharper. Also, your sexual desires will change and your libido will awaken. Your spouse will begin to notice things and treat you differently.

Changes in appetite: Your carbohydrate cravings will go away. You’ll feel full and not really need to eat three meals a day. You’ll notice your taste and smell change.

Changes in energy and sleep: Over 6-12 months, expect your energy to gradually improve. You will feel warmer and exude body heat, but your body temperature will actually be lower. It will continue to trend lower over the next 18-24 months while you thyroid settles into its new biologic groove. Dramatic improvements will be made in your sleep. Both migraines and muscle soreness from exercise will decrease.

There are more benefits not listed here.
This is why I'm doing this plan shortly after P2! Dr. Kruse's recommendations are the ones I will be following (for the most part).
Oh my cat. I need all of these!!! Thanks for taking the time to share this info!!! Off to research more.

I'm up ANOTHER .4 lbs today making it a whole pound now that's come back. I measured for inches and I haven't lost any of those, either. It's very discouraging since I could have lost this much in this amount of time just watching calories but eating whatever I want. There had better be a big whoosh tomorrow or the scale gets it!

Down .8 today....that makes a total of 15.5 lbs on VLCD 20. I have 10 more lbs to go in 10-12 days to meet goal. I can't remember how many pellets I have left 10 or 12 days worth.

Everyone is doing a good job....KUTGW!!!

I have not ever went up the scale more than .5 while in P2. I am blaming the scale I am using while dog sitting!

Yay! So so happy for you!

~~~~~
Morning guys! My little strawberry episode yesterday didn't do much--I was up to 140 even (0.2) but still a bit below LDW to start me out. And my OCD just LUUUUUVs having an even number to start my P3! So this is my first morning of P3, which I started with a BAB, a la leptin reset/Jack Kruse. I did NOT get eating within 30 mins because I was messing around with my camera then trying to upload pics from today. GRRRRR! Anyway, although they are in two different posts (I just got too darn hungry to wait!), my pics from my entire hcg journey are up in a new thread. Scroll down to see today's pics and sorry they are not all together... Darn computers!
Hugs to everyone who is struggling and high fives to you ALL for sticking with it, through thick and thin, ups and downs, beef and cabbage...
I'll be poking my head back in here (just because I can't resist) but I'll be moving over to the P3 thread to post, so as not to torment you guys!
KUTGW!!!!! As you can see, one year and 70 pounds can make a huge difference!
Yay yay!! I am down again, a nice drop of 1.4 after my bd dinner out. I ate petite sirloin and raw spinach with vinegar and a diet pepsi (almost never have that) and then layer had strawberries and a little bit of celery with tea. Everyone made icky faces while they were eating my snickers cake and ice cream. It was so funny. My family is so supportive lol!!! I love my fam!!!
Only just over 5 pounds to virgin weight. I still don't know if I will make it this round or not but I'm gonna try!!!!
Down .4 today, but I'll take it since TOM showed up (after 3 months w/o one...grrr.. I hate this perimenopausal stuff) this morning. Going to a birthday party today, so wish me luck. I'll just eat before and take my water w/ lemon. Today is day 21, so I have 21 days to go! I CAN do this. Looking forward to having some of that coconut cake for my birthday March 9th! Mmmmmmmmmmmm.
Down, finally, today after a couple of gain days. However, it's only down .4 lbs. so I'm still up from where I was. Week 2 sucked and I don't know why. Oh, well. On to week 3 and hopefully some big losses. I don't know if I'll do a round 2 if this round doesn't pick up and show some big numbers downward. Eating so little for such a small loss is really frustrating. Especially because I haven't lost any inches either.
I'm going to go eat an orange now and have a couple of cups of green tea. Maybe I can pee out the weight.
