Hello p2'ers! Not sure if any of ya'll remember me, I have been off p2 since December of last year and have been an avid lurker on ya'll
. Been p4 forever (eating mostly p3 though) and now my mind is right to do another round because I didn't end at my goal weight. Lucky for me I'm not too high from my LDW, ended at 128.6 now at 135.2. Not bad but not where I want SO....Saturday I start loading! I'm so ready (not for the loading blech) and I'm doing injections instead of drops this time....We shall see!! |

Hi everybody
I too am back. I gained all my weight back and then some from my losses last year. ![]() So I am calling this round 1 and it is VLCD13 and I'm 12.6 lbs. down. I had a rough start my first week. I know I wasn't eating enough and by the 5th day I felt like I was run over by a truck. I went a little crazy eating that day. I got right back on the following day making sure I was eating all my calories and have had good losses since. I'm probably going to stay on P2 until around Valentines Day. Good luck everyone!

Hi everyone!!
For those coming back, Welcome back and here is to much success I just wanted to say, Nikki hang in there, as you said, only 13 days to go, that is how I look at my rounds: I can do just about anything for 21 or 30 days, just a short blip on the radar. Bonnie, I am really interested in getting that book, thanks for putting it out there. Well I'm on Day 13 of R3P2 and I am at 220, 61 pounds GONE!! I am officially half way there!! I may decide to lose more when I get to my goal, but for now, I'm just excited to say, I can see Onederland from here, I really can!!

Hi everyone! Would love to join all you ladies. This is my first time doing hcg and so far it hasn't been nearly as bad as I thought! Only on day 2 though!
I really do hope this kick starts my metabolism. I simply was not able to kick the cravings on low carb. But i feel nothing on hcg. Is it in my mind? I didnt read anything about hcg fixing cravings. I'm so tired of being frumpy. Looking forward to being less so. :-) |

Boy, we are getting a whole new influx today! Welcome everyone!
Good luck to everyone! As far as cravings go, I think one of the things that hcg does is detox us a bit. When we stop eating processed foods (even if they are low carb) I think sometimes it can really help with cravings and food sensitivities. It's not in your head--it really DOES work! |

I hit 180.4 today, so now it is time for new pictures since I hit the bottom of another ten pound milestone. Mind if I share?
![]() Excuse the silly face, my husband was doing his typical make-the-wife-laugh routine. I don't see much of a change when I look in the mirror, it is nothing hugely dramatic, but I do see subtle changes between this picture and last month's shot. A well fitted shirt makes a difference, too! ![]() I'm really happy with the progress in this shift in pounds. I'm beginning to look more 'normal', even though I'm still medically obese for another ten or so pounds. My husband claims there's been big changes and he loves it, but I can't see anything dramatic. I think more of that has to do with the skewed view I had of myself as I went up the scale, rather than dysmorphia going down. When I got heavier, I still thought I looked fine, you know? I wasn't really 'seeing' the weight, but rather seeing myself how I used to look. So now that I look like that again, it seems like everything righting itself rather than any big shift downward, because I didn't see the initial gain accurately or realistically. That's denial for you! And now the side shots. 180.4: ![]() VS 190.4 for comparison: ![]() This is where I see more differences than straight on. My jawline is changing, sure, but losing much of that mummy tummy pooch from the c-section and subsequent weight gain and loss. My hips and belly look a lot more streamlined, as does the fat distributed through my back. It's just... less. No better way to put it. And yes, I hide a surprising amount of hair in my bun every day, don't I? ![]() That pink shirt was one of the cute hauls I got at Salvation Army last week. It's a little long in the sleeves and runs small, but in another few pounds (and with rolled sleeves or a cute blazer) it will be perfect! I'm very pleased with my losses right now, there's no denying it. I have five or so more days I expect to be in the VLCD phase, thanks to TOM, and then the full the duration of P3/P4, before trying to lose the next twenty or so. I am incredibly eager to see what I look like at 160 now as an adult instead of a high school soccer player, and I will do cartwheels off the roof with newly sprouted wings when my slight leftover chin/cheek fat goes away. And speaking of facial shots, I didn't have any good ones on this batch of weight photos, so I took a quick snapshot with my cute, but bed-headed, daughters. See you tomorrow morning with (fingers crossed) weight in the 170's? I certainly hope so! ![]()

Oh my, Taryl, you're gorgeous and so are your cuties. Great job!!!! I hope you get a new decade in the morning, especially since Tom delayed your exit from P2!!!
Well, I gained a pound overnight AGAIN - I promise I'm not cheating! Helz Belz..... I did have low-sodium canned, no sugar, no msg chicken broth. I thought low-sodium would be ok. I've had it before, and maybe the gains I thought I got from cabbage cooked in it was not from the cabbage but from that broth. I dunno what else to think. So no more cabbage, no more broth. I have maybe 2 more weeks of shots left, not sure, I don't preload them so I may just quit here sometime if I get ticked enough, or I may power onward until I am out of my hcg. Work is getting way more stressful. I'm not sure what I will end up doing but I can tell you one thing, I am NEVER going to gain weight at the holidays again! What a hose out! Like someone else mentioned, I got lazy and didn't want to cook "my" treats, but just went ahead and indulged in Grama's treats.... well, Grama doesn't have a weight problem! I didn't even gain that much but still - all that cr@p set me up for some fierce cravings and tried to restart that addiction all over again when hcg and the past almost 2 full years have helped me so much. The debil is not going to drag me back to down to that h311 again! ok rant over.

Hi C'Marie!
Ok day one -2.2 lbs, pretty standard for the first day of vlcd. I broke down and had a breadstick last night, my head was hurting and I felt like I needed it, but I think that will be the last one. This morning as I got on the scale I had one scary thought, would hcg ever stop working? If this was your last round that you could ever have would it change the way that you did things? It certainly would for me. I would make every moment count, never cheat and not give up so easily to end a round early. Just something to think about. As usual I'm having 170 grams of cooked roast beef, 2 handfuls of sauteed spinach, and 2 apples spread thru the day. Extra water hot tea with Splenda. Maybe the goal for next Thanksgiving will be to make irresistable holiday low carb treats that way we are less tempted to partake in all the carby stuff. Have a great day guys! ![]()

Taryl - you look great! I can totally see the difference in the last 10 pounds! Congrats to you!
C'Marie - buddy! What's UP with this round??? I am seeing this all over the place. Keep on going. Just a little bump in the road...Morning Lara! ![]() Hi to everyone else too who isn't up hella early west coast time! ![]() ~~~~~ All right ladies--this morning was LDD (last dose day) and I am down exactly 0 from yesterday. I am completely ok with that because I have met and exceeded my goal for this round by about 3.5 pounds and I am going to get while the getting is good--and I've been at the same weight for a couple of days. I'm also calling "goal" here because I'm not sure that the "girls" can stand to lose much more and it's time to work on some tone. So in the last year I will call it at 68.6 pounds lost along with 63.5 inches all over including 10 inches on my waist 10 inches from my chest 8 inches from my torso 10 inches from my hips 7 pants sizes (16 -> 2) 4 bra sizes (42E -> 36D) 2 full shoe sizes (10/10.5 -> 8/8.5) So...2 more days of VLC then glorious P3 on Saturday morning! I'll take pics on Saturday and post the whole journey. I will never be able to express how thankful I am for this board and all the wonderful people who have kept me going this year. I love hcg but I love you guys more! ![]()

How beautiful you are! Your smile made me smile. Best of luck with your continued progress! And I just saw you are from Alaska! Are you from there originally or did you move there? I want to visit Alaska so badly, but I think my husband wants to go someplace warm instead. (I'm pushing for Alaska this summer or the next.) After my first "Fat Fast" Day, (completely rogue at this point), I am down 2.2 lbs today to 127.6. Before I do the happy dance, this was the weight I finally reached after a 7 day stall on Sunday, only to bounce up a pound per day right back to my stall weight of 129.8. So we'll see where this goes. Continued best wishes to all on this incredible journey!

Lost the 0.2 I had gained yesterday from....what we'll just call the "incident". I didn't lose anymore than that though and I seriously CHUGGED the water yesterday too. I really thought that would help.
So, I'm at 0 loss for week 2 so far, but I still have 5 days to go. I notice though in my past stats...week 2 and I don't ususally get along all that well anyway. |

Artic Mama~ you look great
![]() C'Marie~ I did the same thing.. as a matter of fact, I just hit LDW from last round today, and I have lost 24.5 pounds so far. I went on a month long binge starting with Thanksgiving, then my birthday, then Christmas. The weight really didn't hit until Christmas.. I think I gained 15 pounds in 2 weeks alone. UGH! But from here on out, I am in virgin fat territory ![]() Yay Shelbyla!!!! ![]() ![]() SHELBYLA!Yay LilDrew! Way to go! Garnet~ You have been so patient getting over this hump.. it's all downhill from here. YOu can do it! Yay Brenski! KJ.. I have had some slow weeks in past rounds.. Hang in there! Marocka~ hope you reach your goal! Katiesmemaw~ I would love it if you shared your P3 tricks.. you maintained so well! Down 1.5 today to land me at LDW from last round. 2 more weeks of P2 for me, and this time I WILL stabilize!

I'm back to my .7 loss trend again
I guess I need a 3 month break before another round...so I'm going to start aerobic and strength training this week. Maybe I'll be able to lose a little in P4 and start round 4 in the 160's, who knows? 150 is the point at which I will just be "overweight" and not "obese" so I am shooting for that for round 4 (will be a tough one if I have more than 15 to get off). I am in my 14's, though, so that is great news! (Sad, though, I have nothing smaller in my closet and will have to shell out $$ for 12's and lower)! I'll have to check out Goodwill. Don't think last summers size 20 shorts are going to work too well this year ![]()

WTG everyone!
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I have renewed enthusiasm! I am finally down .8 this morning--134.4!!! Woohoo! I've been hoping for anything under 135 for 6 long days!! Things were starting to get a little dicey as you can imagine...![]() This is a hollow victory because it's only 2.6 below my last round's LDW. ![]() I too, indulged and had to lose 2 load pounds plus 8 fresh pounds to get here. People, it's not worth it!I now plan to go till 1-31---but I reserve the right to change my mind at any given moment between now and then. ![]() ![]() Have a great day! ![]()

Haha Catkin, I reserve that same right! LOL
I have lost the 1# water weight AGAIN.... dunno why this keeps happening unless it is/was the broth/cabbage separately or together so I am dumping them both. I am chugging water. @dbunny, I didn't even gain that much! And I did so great right up to and after Thanksgiving all the way from May, gained a little, lost a little, kept it in line, until I ended up with one more weird "period" after not having one for 16 months! then I could not keep things in check. I even did ok with gaining 8 pounds in 2 weeks at that point - I knew what it was and I was a little demoralized but knew that as soon as I could do another round it would "reset" cuz that's what Dr. Simeons says! And we all know he's RIGHT! Right!? Right! But then I loosened up at Christmas time and got lazy and thought wth I'm going to be starting again anyway - alcohol + sugar + a few carbs = not good feeling, bloat, gain, cravings and self loathing! Then of course I loaded and added some there. If this round hadn't been so slow going for me I'd have blown right past my last LIW and been just fine. Like Lara, I think I am beginning to wonder what if this doesn't keep working? I said that at the beginning of this round. I wonder if I jinxed myself! Words you say are POWERFUL! Talk nice to your bodies, gals! As it is now, here it is Wednesday and I am at the same weight I was Sunday morning after gaining and losing and stalling. Nothing to do but keep tightening up protocol, drink all my water, and keep on! |

Wow Shelby, you should be SO proud of yourself! You have done a great job. Pat yourself on the back....job well done!! ![]() I'm down 1lb today Still feeling pretty good. Hunger is manageable, very light headache, no weakness, energy level is higher than before hcg ![]() I ended up not getting in my 2nd fruit or all my Melbas yesterday, so I'll work on that today. I've been consistently drinking over 120oz of water, plus 1 cup of coffee and a couple of cups of tea. My BFF has lost 5 so far and DD has lost 6, so we're all so excited to see this working!! ![]() I hope everyone has a smooth, easy day! Cindy T
