Losing Weight on Load Day??

My DD (29) and I both started dosing yesterday and ate high fat foods to capacity. I swear I ate my weight in nuts We also had Rib Eye, Au Gratin potatoes, Cheesecake, Cream Cheese...and more. It was actually miserable, but both of us lost 2 lbs this morning. Is this normal?

Should we change something up today? I just want to make sure we load properly.

It's actually very common to have this happen, especially if you had been eating a lots of starches and/or sugars before starting to load. The only suggestion I would have is to maybe concentrate on fats today and minimize the carbs. That can help with cravings and being hungry the first week.

Thank you all SO much! I did as you all suggested and concentrated on fats, not carbs so much and finished tonight with a spoon of PB.

I am SO ready to start this tomorrow

I actually lost 4.2 lbs. after my first load day (I had to get off and on the scale like 5 times to be sure)...but I gained it all back plus 1 lb. on my second. However, it was really nice to only be up a total of 1 lb. for loading. I've finished my first week and haven't been hungry at all, so loading was fine even if I did lose.

You can still consider yourself terribly lucky!

I commonly gain 5 lbs on a 2-day load... did one 3-day load and gained 8, which took more than a week to lose! Really hope I don't experience that again!

Have fun losing big now!

Thanks! I am SO excited! I felt fabulous today (day 2), hoping I keep feeling like this! Hunger is manageable. I get little bouts of hunger that pass quickly, then I get really hungry right before meal time and afterwards I feel full. I actually have to make myself eat my melba and apples

Released 4.6 today

Wow, I don't blame you, taking all week to lose load weight would not be fun at all. I'm sorry you had to do that.
