After D#3 of Fat Fast, only 0.2 down today (for a total of 4 pounds in 3 days!), so I am stopping my hCG as of last night (I re-read Dr. Belluscio's info on oral hCG and he found the hCG is out of your system after 48 hours, so I should be on P3/interruption by Sunday). That's only 20 days of hCG, but I went rogue the last few days, so I'm just going with it.
I REALLY, REALLY cannot do this much longer. I am wiped. I am going to increase to 800 calories these next two days (all protein and veggies--going to skip the fruit and breadsticks), and hopefully there won't be any bumps upward. I'm worried because I've only been around 126 for two days, so I'll keep my fingers crossed. ![]() Thanks to all of you who posted about this Fat Fast. It is exactly what I needed to move out of my horrendous stall. Now my job is to maintain this weight loss through my interruption before I can try to lose the rest of my weight.See you on P3!

Ok so I want to do this, I think just for today, tomorrow, and Sunday...then do three days of clean P2 (strict) and starting P3. I am SO DONE!
What motivated me? I ate some chicken out with friends yesterday and I know the chicken and veggies HAD butter, I was only losing .2 oz a day creeping by...and this morning I lost .8 oz!...and I know I had fat yesterday. So I need help ladies, heading to the grocery store in a few but need to know what to get and what to do...read page one and I'm confused...do I continue my hHCG? And what are the guidelines? I follow the K.I.S.S method (lol) I just took my morning dose, I use the pellets. Haven't had any coffee or food yet. I'm at 146 today but I truly want to be lower before I call it quits. I stabilize exactly 2 pounds over on P3...and I'd like to be under 145 as my stabilization. Not looking for miracles, but some more budging on the scale would be nice. Bring it on! ![]()

Last day of FF and Still the same today on the scale - so no movement in two days...but it is not the fat fast - instead I was awakened by TOM!!! I knew it...bloating and generally weak feeling and crabby for days. But, I have to say, it is a miracle I didn't gain....I had the pre-TOM munchies last night and my fat went above what I expected!
SunnyFL - This actually gave me just what I needed for a boost - my body was totally stuck at 500 calories and would not let go of pounds. I added in fat then moved onto the fat fast - I did 3 days and I would say the pounds really did start moving. From last week until today I lost 4 pounds. That is not as significant as some but it was for me. Today I am going back to VLCD and am truly considering stopping drops on Sunday - I had hope to be at 140 but I think TOM stole my chances! I posted a lot of menus on this thread - but I ate: Two times: 8 0z GY, 1 tb CO, 1 TB of almond butter (that was my first day) I can't remember the 2nd day exactly but I know I had cream cheese, macadamia nuts, hwc, 3 eggs scrambled in butter, 4% cottage cheese The exact numbers and percentages are on the post I added here a couple of days ago. We do take the hcg while fat fasting. Good luck to you! The scale will move for you! I can feel it! |

I'm going to have to reread the original post and try to make sense of the fat percentage and calories.
I'm trying to use what I have here, which is eggs, butter, HWC, FAGE, cheese, Mac nuts, etc. I was going to quit pellets today and start P3 Sunday but I really don't want to stabilize in the upper 140's ![]() At this weight since I'm so petite, even several pounds are noticeable. Ideally getting to 140 would be the best but I don't know if I'll get there at all. I'm excited for eggs with butter!!!! |

Thank you sweet baby Jesus!!
132.6 today! That is 2.5 pounds down this week, for a total weight loss since January 3 of 12 pounds!! This WOE DOES work if you stick to it and don't give up and cheat. What a great way to start a Friday! Water does makea HUGE difference. I drink mine all at work too so I can relax in the evening. I cannot believe I have lost considering I have had a cupple vodka cocktails in the evening this week. I drink it with flavored seltzer water that is sweetened with splends so literally no carbs in these drinks just calories but the alcohol does slow fat burn. I have also been watching my cheese. I LOVE cheese and that is one reason I was attracted to this diet but it just doesnt help me. I do want to try the fat fast still and plan to incorporate working out next week. I say do what works for you and will keep you sane, losing weight is hard enough! Have a good weekend |

sunny - I haven't totally decided yet about what I am gonna do moving into P3. If I can dump some more weight after TOM (that showed up today) then I will stay VLC (which today is my first day back). I had hoped to transition pretty quickly.
However, if I don't lose the extra I will stay VLC for say 5 days, do FF, then my last two days of this round will be FF - which makes some sense going from say 700 calories to P3 would cause major tummy troubles for me - kind of like my first introduction to fat last week! I am just playing it by ear right now - sorry I couldn't be more help. Maybe someone else could chime in on this one. Congrats NP! |

Hi Fat Fasters! Sounds like everyone is doing great eating FAT
I'm on P3, day 3 and am 162.6 again. I was 162 even on my first day of P3. Hoping I stabilize this time. Haven't had the time to do Leptin Big A$$ Breakfasts due to crazy morning schedule but I'm still following all of his other rules (no snacking, 4-5 hours between meals, 3 hours between dinner and bed) and am eating Paleo-style. I was eating dairy since I had just come off of the fat fast BUT...Bernice was no where in site after almost 5 DAYS so I cut the dairy out yesterday and low and behold...she's back. I guess dairy just really does a number on me--even when it doesn't make me feel bad ![]() Calories are still kinda low but I'm trying to slowly up them. I think I was only at 900 yesterday so I need to add some major food in soon! I was full and satisfied all day though due to eating Paleo (fat and protein and veggies). Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Did you get your percentages worked out? 1000 cals, 90% from fat or as high/close as you can get it. I think mine all 3 days came out to about 83%. Next time I'm shooting for higher and going to do what someone suggested on here and make like a mousse with cream cheese and HWC. Good luck on your fat fast!!

Today I am eating P2 (and also tomorrow), then I'm starting my interruption on Sunday, so I'll have about 60 hours off hCG. I have no idea what I am doing , I only know I couldn't do this diet protocol any longer (either VLCD or Fat Fast).![]() I opted to do just protein and veggies today and tomorrow, just in case the sugar in the fruit and the starch in the breadsticks were going to be a problem. I just have to get through the rest of today and tomorrow and pray I stabilize during my interruption. The only eggs I had on this plan were the yolks, because that is where the fat is (I also followed Atkins instructions for Fat Fast). I didn't eat my Fage full fat yogurt at all because it seemed to have too much protein, and I was looking for 90% fat. I hope, I hope, I hope, the scale stays the same for the next two days, then that will be 4 days at the same weight, which will hopefully be enough for stabilization. I think I'm going to follow Nicole's Leptin Reset protocol when I start P3--that seems to be a good program to follow. |

Riley and Garnet, I'm logging my fats and trying to keep it up!
It's harder than it looks actually. Trying to sneak in HWC every chance I get! I'm making cream cheese muffins now actually. Do we know the calories/fat on those? Hmmm...I'm making mini ones. Might have to plug it in to caloriecount and see where it comes up. |

If you can spare the cals, smear 'em with peanut butter. Ate it for lunch one day and it was yummy and super filling! Next time I plan to rely heavily on HWC. Can't wait! I think I may start Sunday. this recipe from Linda Sue's Site: Quote:
Another variation is to use lemon juice or True Lemon powder in half of the batch, and flavor the other half with a fruit flavor like Raspberry/strawberry/Pomegranate. The using the pastry bag to pipe out the pink flavored clouds, the fill the bag with the lemon flavor, insert the tip in the center and pipe the lemon into the center. Put them back into the freezer to finish setting up. They are a nice creamy treat that no longer tastes like plain boring cream cheese. ![]()

Hello hello!!
Well after a really upset tummy ( ) I am down to 145.6!!It's not much, but I'll take the 5 oz. happily! I'll do the fat fast today and tomorrow and back to strict P2 on Monday (yes ladies, no HWC, sigh') I figure I'll do a strict P2 Monday - Thursday and start P3 on Sunday. Trying to find a way to up the fat today, ideas? I was at 83% fat yesterday and like 9 carbs... I went to bed starving and woke up starving!!! My tummy was like you'd better feed me woman! ![]() |

I think I've really messed up on this fat fast. I've had way too many calories. So far I've had about 2000 calories, 70% fat. It's that the fattening things are so small and it's easy to eat a lot of it. I didn't notice the suggested calorie amount until after I ate the food. YIKES-A-RAMA!
Oh well, there's nothing I can do about it now. I will just have to watch my last meal, and try to keep it "lighter." Riley I made the brownie bars you posted, with some tweaks: I posted it on the P2-P3 Thread

Yea I did that, it was yummy, with some cocoa powder...but I'm still craving substance ya know?
Thinking of tuna for dinner with a slice of bacon, or eggs with mayo...all I know is I have to eat dinner later tonight...I was SO hungry around 8:00, like hungry where your tummy actually hurts?!! I'm at 79% right now, so my dinner needs to count! So far I've had: 2 tbs hwc and coffee 2 eggs, 1/2 tbs hwc and 1 tbs butter (scrambled eggs) 3 mini cream cheese muffins Chocolate cheesecake mousse: 1/4 cup HWC with 1 oz cream cheese, 1/2 tbs cocoa powder, splenda for lunch. Dinner I think tuna salad but not sure yet |

Memory Keeper -- that's easy to do with Fat Fasting -- I've let the calories creep up far too many times myself.
You may still see a loss -- if not, no worries -- just keep it more controlled in the future. You really don't get to eat much volume of food with fat fasting, which is the big drawback to it. |

Hi FFers --
I am actually NOT doing the fat fast -- or anything resembling it -- for the next week or so -- I am going to a slightly rogue version of protocol for a bit. I think I've gotten what I can from fat fasting for the moment, and my body adapts to it quickly -- so I am wanting to shake things up for a while -- well, not so much wanting to do it, as needing to do it. I think I need protein, badly, right now. I'll undoubtedly be back at some point in the near future though! |

I have moved over to rogue as well for the next few days as well.
I thought tomorow was gonna be my LDD but, I have decided to keep on a little longer, maybe until the end of next week ![]() I have 5-7 pounds I am still trying to budge and that will determine the length of time I stay on. FF really did help me and I will continue to incorporate sporadically my 4% cottage cheese, HWC (in moderation) and CO. Sunnfl - keep it up!! Jeanette - On my last FF day I had a hard time keeping calories low as well - I ended up at 1300!!!! That wasn't intentional Good luck ladies! I will be checking in here as this is one of my fave threads! |
