Hey Erin,
![]() I'm not a big Facebook person. Is it her "hold the toast press" page? Is there a way to serch for her FF ideas or do you just have to scroll through? How are you doing? |

I'm doing 'OK', at a crossroads as to what I want to do. I'd love to drop some weight without going back to hcg, yet again. I'm thinking low carb, lower fat than what I've been doing and incorporating more cardio/exercise. In no hurry to lose it for now, but when summer hits I wanna get back into my short-shorts! lol

I'll watch for her book I love her books and down to earth wit. I'm kind of in the same place. My goal for December is simply not to gain. After this week I believe a beef day will be in order to achieve that one I've done pretty well with NK, when I stay focused. I think after the first I may try and really get into it and work on getting into the "slow burn" program as well.Happy Holidays! Terri |

Hi Fat Fasters! I'm doing a one-day FF today and was just wondering if anyone here has a typed up list of foods or mini-meals that you routinely eat when doing a Fat Fast. It's so much easier when you know exactly what to eat to get to 1,000 calories and high fat/low protein. Thanks!

I did FF for two days after xmas. It was great!!
Then just did sort of NK for 3 days while working. Today is another FF and since I don't have any work lined up, don't know for how long. This very long thread was extremely helpful. |

One of my all time fav FF breakfasts is a pancake made from 1 oz cream cheese, 1 egg, a little sweetener and cinnamon, scant tsp coconut flour and about 1/8 tsp baking powder.
Spin it in the magic bullet or use a stick. Cook like a pancake but over lower heat. Slather w butter. Oopsies w butter are also good, although, I don't make rolls but just spread the batter in a square pan. Mock danish. This was a mainstay LC item about 10 yrs ago; 2oz cream cheese, 1 egg and sweetener...mix well and nuke for 2 min. You can top this w melted butter for xtra fat. Last night I had sour cream/pb pudding which was heaven; to 2 oz sc stir in 1 tsp pb and sweeten. Another is 1oz cream cheese mixed w 1 Tbsp pb and sweetener. Cheese 'crackers'...just little piles of cheese, melted/crisped. I went to Linda Sue's recipes and looked through puddings/desserts and soups which gave me a good list of options in addition to the list at the beginning of the thread.

Hi guys! Im doing the FF for the second time, starting on monday. The holidays ruined low carb for me but I'm back on track since the start of the year, but now I wanna do the FF for 4-5 days . I'll be posting every day, but I won't be weighing-in for at least 2 weeks.

No, I never did HCG, I do the Atkins extended induction. last time I tried the FF , I went straight back to that when I finished and it worked great. I basically stay around 10 g of carbs, with more fats than proteins. I don't count calories or worry too much about %s, just try to keep it high fat.
I guess we'll be doing the FF together this time around |

I have a question for you fat fasting experts!
I'm going on a long (15hr) road trip with people who will be eating and snacking nonstop. I'm concerned about caving in even though I have a strong resolve. I was thinking about a planned interruption but I'm not 21 days into this round. I'm looking at the fat fast now to see if that might be more satisfying then bringing a bag of celery with me. If you were to do a one day fat fast, what would you eat and would you take drops dring that day also? Thanks in advance! |

I cant tell you about the drops, but if you wanna do a one day fat fast you just eat what you normally would on any day of the FF
I end up eating basically the same thing every day. are you familiarized with it? you need to have 5 meals of 200 cals each, and the percentage of fat should be 70-90 %. I usually have cream cheese, butter (salted) , 2 scrambled egg yolks, and macadamia nuts. you need to calculate how much of these items you need to get 200 cals by checking the nutritional table (each product varies a lot so be aware of that. I bought cream from different brands and one is 93% fat and the other is 85%.)if you don't know how to calculate the fat percentage here goes: get the amount of fat in grams (in a sitting, or in 100g, or whatever). multiply this by 900, and divide the result by the amount of calories (in the same portion size) and that's the fat percentage. also remember to drink a lot of water. I find that when I do the FF I don't have sugar cravings at all! |

I'm thinking of bacon (lots), cream and high fat Greek yogurt maybe mixed with cream cheese. I also use my Starbucks sf vanilla syrup for flavor. I'll have to go pick up the yogurt today so I can toy with the calories and percentages. |

how's it going for you Terri?
Im on the morning of my 3rd day and I was SO weak when I woke up. I wasn't shaking, and I wasn't having hunger pains, I just fell weak and I know if I were to give up on the FF I would've eaten everything in sight. But I wanna go for the 5 days so I ate macadamia nuts and drank a ton of water to make me feel full and it helped. I remember the 3rd day being a hard one the last time so I'm keeping positive. |

Sorry that sucks. Maybe you should up your calories a bit so you can fit in some protein. I've gone up to 1600 and still lost as long as I kept my fat up.Yesterday I did 1332/83% and lost 2.4. That makes 4# in two days. I am also doing HCG though. |

Terri--I love to see the success you are having with the Fat Fast on hCG. I've tried it in previous rounds for 2-3 days and always have success with it too. I'm doing my *final-final* round (oh please let it be so!) right now and thinking about going for another 2-3 FF days soon. Do you do it the entire time you are on HCG? Or just a few days here and there? Thanks!

Hi Lemon,
In the past I’ve done it from 2 to 12 days in the middle of a round when I needed to jump start. This time I’m doing it from the beginning and I plan to continue it until the end of the round. Great Luck on the *final-final*!! |

...I can't even tell you how very much I understand. I'm hanging by a literal shred of determination right now! I also started TOM out of the blue about 10 days EARLY, so that is making me none-too-happy. Weekends are so difficult for me, so I'm thinking a Fat Fast over the weekend might be a good idea.I've done them before for 2 or 3 days in previous rounds, and I feel SO good getting some dietary fat into my system. My energy goes up, and I just feel better overall. It also helps me to kick the cravings. I typically return to P2 quickly, but I'm am very intrigued with what Terri is doing and may consider going longer with the Fat Fast... Jabbok--My understanding is that Terri is taking HCG the entire time. Terri--thank you! |

lemon--for some reason I had mine come 10 days early this time too. It was downright frustrating because it comes out of the blue. But such is life with hcg LOL and Grrrr at the same time
