I'm not sure....but i think i have a date next sunday.
I am NOT good with these kind of things! Of course, this isn't the only one! When i find out i'm leaving they start coming out of the wood work! Couple of problems....first, the obvious! I'M MOVING! second....I sorta, kinda, i think already have a sorta kinda BF (the BFF lol) back in Texas. I KNOW that Sunday will be innocent...but still! Where were these men months ago???

Ain't that the truth!!! As in some times you want them and they're gone...other times you don't want them and they never leave....

Of course...I also find this true with work...when I have a job...the other companies want me. When I don't and I'm looking, they have nothing...

My CD netted me a 1.5 loss. I am going to be positive because I am losing, and being negative just creates bad feelings and may stall me even more.

170.5 this morning, 5.5 to get back to where I was, but only 3 to get back to LIW, and only 1 to get back in the window. Baby steps....breathe....baby steps....breathe.

I AM DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok, better now.....i woke up this morning after a terrible few moments w/ a wicked awful Berniece about 8pm...thought i had food poisoning for a few minutes! I was UP to 262.3!!! WTH???????????? Between yesterday and today I have GAINED 4.1 POUNDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG I can't do this! I did start yesterday (as light/abnormal as THAT is going to be?) but even last time...i would stall or gain a pound....NOT 4.1!

I am beginning to wonder if after 2 weeks on the hhcg, now 9 days on the rx...should i just call that as over 21 days, transition off and try to maintain for a few weeks, enjoy my time left here in Savannah....I know i will be going out w/ friends before i leave? But good grief! If i'm going to only lose when i take a water pill....i can do that on far more calories than 500 a day! grrrrrrr

Can you tell i'm beyond frustrated? Sorry to vent first thing this morning! We also have standardized testing this morning...pointless! I played connect the dots all through HS and STILL got into several great colleges! Oh, and I NEVER passed that presidential fitness test.....still got into college! So I'm monitoring in another room...away from mine...where I need to be working on art show stuff. grrrrrr is it MONDAY again?

Oh, i checked out this guy from a friend....now I KNOW it will go no where...i'm not interested in anything like that at all....but SERIOUSLY? Multi millionaire art broker/investor. REALLY??? lol just my luck!!!

What do i do ladies?!? about the diet....lol...not the men! lol...after my experiences, my new motto is going to be chew 'em up and spit 'em out! lol...not really, but it makes my heart feel a bit stronger when i say that! I'm about to have a serious "talk" w/ the BFF back in Texas. I know life is busy...and I KNOW he loves me to pieces...but it is bad when i text/talk MORE with my mechanic (who is married, but asked me where in the sam hell i was back when he was single....another multimillionaire! NOT that money is anything....but it sure don't hurt!) friend than i do him...don't ya think?

Ok, ya'll have a great day and i will be back this afternoon! Have a great tuesday!!

I did a burger and egg CD day Sunday, it netted me a 2 lb loss and put me back in my window. Today I gained .4 lbs but hadn't gone to bathroom yet.

I've been in P3 for about a week now and had to do a CD on the 2nd day. I did a steak day and was miserably hungry all day. Today I'm up 2 lbs again and need to do another CD and was wondering which ones you guys do. I've seen a chicken thigh one and a burger/egg one, but I have no idea how these go. Help please! I need to drop this weight!

Hope the scale's treating you guys better than it did me!

I'm so sorry that this round is not going well for you . I have no advice that the ladies haven't already said in previous days . It's probably just the stress that you've been under lately. If I were you, I would probably end this round and just try to maintain for the next 6 weeks. Start again in 6 weeks and I'd be willing to bet that you'll have fantastic results. Come on over and join me in the P3/P4 in a couple of days .

Theresa - you KNOW this is water weight. Not TOM but water. Sweetie, get those tests. You gotta sort out this edema thing! As far as men go, I can SOOOOOOOOO relate. No advice because I am in a complete pickle myself with my dude but just know you aren't the only one...

Shelby! The school nurse (must get her a gift....nurses day tomorrow!) thinks it is renal and i am not clearing what i need to be...even though i am drinking a ton of water! She asked me what my urine looked like and i told her pretty dark/bright yellow and strong smell....DUH! I always thought it was because i was in ketosis...but, if i am drinking 150+ oz a day it shouldn't be that bright yellow. She told me to get my but in and have full everything ran and figure out why i'm not clearing....so I will def. keep ya'll posted (sorry for the tmi) on what the panels show! she mentioned fluid restriction.l..OMG! I will die w/o something to drink at all times! lol

Yeah, it was sounding more like a kidney issue to me too. And she is totally right--about the bright yellow. Please DO get a workup! We worry about you!

ummmmmm, is it only ONE TABLESPOON of milk allowed??? HOLY CRUD! i've been using two!

I still think that there are other issues going on....as round one i didn't even measure my hnh....i just poured in a "splash" and was fine...i will cut that down to one tbs. but i'm still making an apt for tests w/ my doc and getting the other blood work done!

Ok, so dr apt set for the 23....think i may just use a whole sick day...i have six and what they heck! I looked up potassium levels and did some digging...my potassium back in december was 4.8 which i am finding that between 3-5 is normal....BUT in Feb. I started taking a potassium supplement (thought my sodium intake was too high....this is why i don't take vitamins! lol) AND the water pill i take is one of the ones known to make K levels spike! SO there is no telling what my level is now! I will have blood drawn tomorrow, i've stopped the K sups till further notice! lol....Now, I know i have packed on 4+lbs of water...and the ankles are a bit puffy today....do i take a water pill to get rid of the water or just wait till my body decides to flush it on its own....goodness knows how long that could take!

I could take the long round of the hcg if i was losing...but man i lost my marble (yep! this time of year only one left! ) when i saw that gain this morning!

Shelby, i am now addicted to the celtic salt in my water! Lol...i bet i could put it in my caramel coffee and it would be deeeelish!

Why do i crave food in the morning/noon but like now...i'm not totally hungry! Could care less if i eat or not! No veggies sound good.....i was gonna have shrimp and maybe some cabbage (my go to veggie every night!)?

Hey Theresa! If you are having blood drawn tomorrow, I would NOT take a water pill today, as uncomfortable as that may be. It could skew the results if it DOES cause K levels to spike... Gah! It's all so confusing. I was googling myself last night and if I read ONE...MORE...THING about electrical impulses from sodium ions to potassium ions, I think my brain will explode! English, people, ENGLISH!

Isn't the celtic in the water, da BOMB diggity? (As Jeanette would say! ) If I have water without it now, it tastes totally weird to me. I also have a lemon tree in my backyard so at work I always put a lemon wedge in my water and at home it's a lemon wedge AND ACV. My boyfriend thought I was mental...until he tried it...and now he's addicted too!

Something fun to try with the shrimp and cabbage... Add a little plain sweetener (I use stevia) and some hot sauce to your mix. It's sweet and spicy. Yum!

ETA: Where do you get caramel coffee? And frankly if I had some, I'd put salt in it too... Mmmmm...salted caramel...mmmmmm

Been so good today:

B: black coffee with splenda
L: tuna salad (1 oz cream cheese, 1 T mayo, egg, celery and tuna)
2 pieces of oopsie bread
D: 1 chicken thigh, broccoli with monterey jack sprinkled on top, creamed cauli with butter, parmesan and table cream (oh so good).
S: 1 splenda pop (14 calories/0 carbs/0 sugar)

If i have caramel flavored coffee, i add chocolate flavored and toffee flavored stevia! mmmmmm! i may add salt tomorrow and see what it does! lol...i love sea salt!

I really am hoping it is a jacked up potassium level causing this!

What's a splenda pop and where can I get oopsie bread? Desperately craving carbs! Thanks!

These are for P3. The splenda pop thingy I got at Aldi's grocery store. It was okay, and satisfied a bit.

OOPSIE BREAD is dabomb diggity and you can make a million delicious things with the basic recipe.

This and all things oopsie come from Your Lighter Side website.

Low Carb OOPSIE BREAD
Double Batch Recipe (makes 12)
6 lg eggs
dash salt
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
6 oz cream cheese
1/2 tsp baking powder
Separate the eggs while still cold (yolk is more stable). Let them come to room temperature. I let the cream cheese sit out during this time as well. OPTIONAL - For added ease of whipping your egg whites, I put the glass bowl and the beaters in the freezer during this time.
I whipped the eggs with the salt for about 1 minute, then added cream of tartar and whipped for 3-4 more minutes (soft peaks). Then I take the beaters and in the the separate bowl, I beat the egg yolks, cream cheese, baking powder (and whatever seasonings I may be adding). It kind of looks like cottage cheese. Then I slowly folded the whites into the yolk mixture until most of the whites were incorporated. It wasn't perfectly mixed in but that's not possible without breaking down the whites.
I used two muffin top pans (ordered them online) and they are perfect bun size. Or you can scoop out the mixture onto two baking sheets lined with parchment paper and put in a 300 deg oven for 35 minutes.
I let them cool on the pans though just in case the centers needed that residual heat to finish cooking.
Change Ingredients in the yolks for a variety
Sweet Roll –
Add splenda & cinnamon to the yolk mixture
Savory roll - add sesame seeds, onion powder, garlic powder, etc. to yolk mixture.
If you want to add blueberries:
Add 10 packs of Splenda (or other sweetner) to the yolk mixture. Add 1 tsp of vanilla extract. Drain the blueberries (if using frozen). Add 3/4 cup of blueberries at the very end of the process, right before you put it in the pan to bake.
Use Your Imagination!
I store them in the perfect size dish from the Dollar Tree. I don't remember the exact size but it's like a 9x13 pan. I layer them as follows: paper towels, 6 oopsies (3 in each row), paper towels, 6 more oopsies, then paper towels. I put it in the fridge.

Sorry your still up Jeanette! You know what to do, to get back down! Your not alone... I stayed right near 119 for 5 weeks, and suddenly I'm at 124. Don't know what my problem is, eating the right food, but way too much, almost binging. Did a GY day today, trying to get some control over my eating back. Hope we are both down some tomorrow!

ok, better now.....i woke up this morning after a terrible few moments w/ a wicked awful Berniece about 8pm...thought i had food poisoning for a few minutes! I was UP to 262.3!!! WTH???????????? Can you tell i'm beyond frustrated? Sorry to vent first thing this morning! We also have standardized testing this morning...pointless! I played connect the dots all through HS and STILL got into several great colleges! Oh, and I NEVER passed that presidential fitness test.....still got into college! So I'm monitoring in another room...away from mine...where I need to be working on art show stuff. grrrrrr is it MONDAY again?

Oh, i checked out this guy from a friend....now I KNOW it will go no where...i'm not interested in anything like that at all....but SERIOUSLY? Multi millionaire art broker/investor. REALLY??? lol just my luck!!!

So you know something is up with your body, and that's why the hcg isn't working. Let's shift the focus from weight loss to getting to the bottom of the problem. Shelby has given you excellent advice! Frustration=Stress=Weight Gain. I do think this is out of your control... for now anyways. I do hope you get it figured out quickly! Can you not get the tests sooner than the 23rd? On another note, hope you have an awesome time Saturday with the guy! A fun night out might be just what you need to help relieve some of this stress!

I've had a busy busy day. Was still up on the scale this morning... 124! I've got to get back in control and work my way back down to 119. Did a GY day, already feel a little more in control. Cleaned houses all day, then moved DD20 home from the dorm, nice to have her home until August. Hope the extra exercise today helps tomorrow!

At 136.2 today...creeping down the scale...
I've been having red wine every night since Sunday lol...that's the trick!
Having hwc on my coffee since last Friday as well...no fruits...both grissinis though. I don't ever take that out and risk stabilizing with carbs!!

Work has slowed down now that seniors have left!!! I still have to monitor a few to make sure they finish their online classes and can graduate on the 16th...it's my last graduation for awhile, which is fine, I'm ready for the melodrama of middle school lol

Hoping I see 135.8 tomorrow....hmmm...

Hoping for losses and or stabilization for you guys!! Multi protein days and thigh days are my fav CD's...

Ok off I go to work...sitting in my car not wanting to get out lol

I'm down after my GY day! Woo Hoo! Yesterday was 124, today 120.4 (-3.6). Puts me LDW -1, so excited, I know I'll be back to my happy place of 119 soon.
