Does anyone know if one can do a FF after completing one a week prior?

Maybe I'll try that for 3 days then P2 for two days then end it...

Hmmm.....

They tell you not to weigh after an Up Day but I'm so used to weighing every day and I did this morning and I'm actually down 1 - 2 pounds from what it's been showing after Up Days! So yay! This will be my first true week following the rotation correctly!

Ya'll have a good day and keep on losing!
but it's not a "diet".....it's a WOE! lol.....did that help at all?

Jeanette- Glad you are back in your window. You know your gonna fluctuate in the beginning, don't sweat it.
Congrat's on graduation, hope you all had a wonderful time!

Theresa- YAY!!! So glad there was no rebound on the scale, hope it picks up from here.

Natasha- glad you had fun yesterday, sounds like the scale is treating you well!!!

Hi everyone else, hope your all doing well!

Been super busy this weekend, sold my appliances on craigslist (got new SS ones a few weeks ago), had to make room in the garage b/c DD20 comes home from colllege with all her stuff... and bought DD15 a car yesterday, got a really good deal on a used car, and now I've been declared the "Best Mom in the world".
I'll take it, I'm sure it won't last long.

Still sitting at 121 after 2 days with wine (yummy), not sweating it b/c I'm still .4 below ldw. Cut my cals yesterday from 2100 to 1650 hoping to start dropping back to 119, but no such luck, I STS.

I've got to get on Pinterest and see what all the fun is.
I got my invite a couple weeks ago to join, think I'll do that today. I signed up at ********* yesterday, neat sight, and you can search all kinds of recipes, low carb, no sugar, paleo, etc etc etc, and you can save them all in your own cookbook on that sight, you can also create your own. I'm so bombarded with ones that I've copied & pasted that I can't find anything I want, or figure out a good way to store them.

Anyways, enjoy your Sunday ladies!
Tonya
Hello Tonya! I am sure you are the worlds greatest mom!!! Hopefully they always remember that!!
Pinterest is a major time suck! lol but totally addicting! I need to check out that recipe site! I love recipes!.....well, food really!

I'm mounting artwork....and have been "sniffing" rubber cement for two hours

Does anyone have experience with a burger/egg correction day. Shirley was the one who posted in on one of these threads. I'm trying that today. Just finished my last burger egg combo for the day. I need to get back into my window! I started adding too many things too quickly yesterday. Now the punishment!

Cooking chicken thighs for a thigh day tomorrow. Just feel junky eating too many delicious low carb, yet highly addicting carbs!

I made chocolate butter cream frosting, and OH. MY. GOODNESS, to die for.

1 stick of butter, softened
.5 cup of cocoa
1 cup of powdered Ideal (Xylitol)

Taste like the real thing, right out of the can. I could eat the whole entire bowl. YIKES-A-RAMA! It was delicious on a mug cake. Gotta get control, even if it's allowed, I know that I'm eating too much.

Adeline- I've never done that cd, sorry. I know you can buy that online book of cd's (Biz's) at that other site... Not sure I can name it but look up Biz or her HCG bootcamp to find the site. It's the alternating CD book. I think it was 10 or 12 $'s. IMO worth the money. Lots of different CD options.

Theresa- sorry the past is rearing it's ugly head! Stay strong, you are so much better off. You deserve so much better, and you are fixing to move on to your "new" life. Remember, for every door that closes, a new better one opens! We love ya girl!

Jeanette- It's so hard to stay in control once we are allowed to eat again. Sometimes I can hardly get in the 2100 cal's a day, and others, I think I could eat 4000!
Hang in there, it'll settle down soon. Can't wait to try the Choc Buttercream recipe, I'm a sweets girl, and could see how that could cause a problem. I may be joining you tomorrow with that cd! Misery loves company.

Hope you ladies have a good night!

OMGEEE!!!!!!!! 136!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 That is awesome! WTG!!!!!!

I woke up last night at around 11 famished! I didn't have my veggie last night...just two tiny lobster tails (that i wasn't sure were 100%! but i guess so since i survived the night!) and my strawberries! So, i had my one serving of melba and nibbled on that until i went to sleep again. I was lamenting in the bathroom that i didn't get up as much in the middle of the night to go potty...so i was dreading the scale. i was UP to 269.8......that is a 1.6 overnight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ok, i know it is normal! lol...but still i don't like seeing those numbers! I just told myself it is my body filling up those empty fat cells with water before it flushes them!!! Let's hope anyway!!!

I am going to eat as clean as possible today! got my coffee, chicken and celery for lunch and tilapia and cabbage for dinner! I was looking at my numbers and my apples are just med size fuji apples and they are nearly 90 cals when weighed by grams! Is that a lot? It seems to be!

Ok, ya'll have a great day and i will see ya'll later taters! lol ok, that was a bad lc reference!

Sunny- 136 Woo Hoo!!! Getting closer! I love New Orleans too, glad you'll be in P4 then. Hope you have a great P2 week so you can be done!

Theresa- Sorry you went up and your hungry! Good for you, for hanging in there! I'm don't know if I would have the strength. I did the bad boy thing most of my life too, that's how I wound up 41, with 2 kids 5 yrs apart from 2 Dad's, and no hubby. Thank God they were so "BAD" I haven't had to deal with them since the girls were 3. No more for me! I have a sweet BF now, and life is so much more peaceful. Took me long enough to figure it out.

I'm up today, higher than ever, 123.2, +1.8 overnight.
The gain Thur & Fri from the wine didn't leave, even with lower cal's Sat. Sunday was a clean P3, all I had different was mashed cauliflower w/ parm cheese (so good). I've not had the cauliflower or parm. yet but I guess my body didn't like it. Gotta work my way back down, I don't like this!

Hope you all have a great day!
Tonya

I did eat some of the sugar free frosting, but other than that, I was really good yesterday, so I was up 3 pounds this morning. YEP! 172.0. I am eating my chicken thighs, drinking water, and all I can say cheating on Friday was the WORST IDEA EVER!

Trying not to be too depressed. Here's hoping for a better day tomorrow. Way to hang in there Theresa and Sunny!

Lots of hugs Tonya, you're so right!

Ok breathe!!! The cookies are not worth it!!!
Focus on that you HAVE LOST! You have been super strong and can overcome this! Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels and you know if you cheat you will feel bad later and defeat the purpose of this hard work you've done.
I think of how hard P2 is and realize I can have something later! I'm pms'ing majorly today BUT I think ok so I made it this far I can go on till the 16th!
If you are getting hungry maybe it's time to end this round? Something to consider....

i'm not really hungry....just mentally wanting to chow down on krispy kreme!

Thanks for the pep talk! lol....i think pms ain't helping either!

We have came a long way! I was thinking about it today....almost 50lbs since janurary!!!

One of my best friends did HCG a few times. She warned me before I started R2 that it would be much harder than the first round. She said that it would be harder to resist the non P2 foods the second time around. I didn't believe her but OH BOY WAS SHE RIGHT!!! I haven't really been hungry during R2 but I have craved so many non P2 foods. I remember when I did R1 my entire family could eat anything in front of me and it didn't bother me...not this time. I wanted to nearly chop their heads off for even thinking about eating in front of me.

Sunny - The no-mint thing is really only when you are doing oral homeopathic. Mint and camphor interfere with homeopathic absorption.

Theresa - "Normal" range means pretty much nothing when it comes to electrolyte imbalance--or really ANY blood test results. They get the "normal" ranges from the average of all the blood tests done. And guess who gets blood tests the most? ABNORMAL (a.k.a. sick) people! Arrrrghhhh! It makes me mental! Anyway, your potassium should be > 4.0 and your sodium > 140 for it to be in optimal range. I hope it's not too far off. If it is, it can be REALLY concerning, over and above the annoying cankles.

This is what I do when I have massive cravings. I sit down and VISUALIZE the scale. I visualize a number 3 pounds higher than what it was today. 3 pounds. It usually makes me vaguely nauseated. I then think about eating whatever it is that I am craving. Then the scale UP. Then the food. I keep going on that until the craving is associated with that awful feeling of getting on the scale and seeing it go UP--by a lot. Anyway, works for me! Might be worth a shot...it's free after all!

Might be worth a shot...it's free after all!
ok, so if i'm reading my numbers from December 2011 my soduim was 141 and potassium was 4.8. Is there any other numbers i need to look at? I'm gonna try to go in in the am for my blood work....they said i didn't need to be fasting....but that doesnt make ANY sense on a metabolic panel!

I will have to seriously try that visualization technique! I need the scale going DOWN not up!

I do have slightly "sore" feet tonight...i can see a SLIGHT bit of the beginning of swelling.....so i'm beginning to wonder if it is 100% stress related.....even though i dont FEEL stressed...i'm OUTTA THERE in 23! I know the place just keeps me on edge....and it aint the kids!

Jeanette! I only gotta hang on two weeks....then i can decide from there! I can do 2 wks!

Shelby! I used your technique to help me stay on my CD. I made chicken thighs. Had two for lunch, 1 for snack and wanted an oopsie burger for dinner, but thought about what you said, and had 2 thighs for dinner too! I did enjoy two small mugs of coffee, and so yeah, thanks girl!

Jeanette, it's all about learning how to manage your non-hunger eating. I think sometimes, we ALL want to test that...consciously...or unconsciously. Are you also making sure you're drinking all your water while on P3? I find my body is more "forgiving" if I'm doing that. Hang in there and you'll be back down in a day or 2.

Jodie, I really needed to hear that! I definitely think "I've got this," and BAM, I don't. You're totally right, it's learning how to manage. And I wasn't hungry at all! Just head hunger. I've already had my 8 waters today, and coffee but I plan to have at least two more cups before the day is out. Thanks, very good post!

Great reminder on the water! I tend to let myself slide on P3 and P4 with it and "think" I am hungry when I probably just needed water!!!!

Hmmmm...I'm not a doctor nor do I play one on TV but that potassium is a bit higher than it normally would be, especially with a sodium that looks good. If you are taking potassium supplements, I would lay off them for a few days. And yes, I would do your blood test fasted--nothing except water, including supplements and meds, before the test. Whoever told you not to is goofy. I always do tests fasted--it never hurts.

Weird question but have you ever had your aldosterone tested or your adrenals? Aldosterone is an adrenal hormone and deficiency can cause a rise in potassium levels because it is responsible for getting rid of potassium through the urine.

I know this stuff because I am hypo-thyroid and hypo-adrenal and on meds for both. I have had to learn this stuff because most doctors are sadly deficient at diagnosis of these problems. Aldosterone is a hormone test. I am trying to remember the protocol for testing aldo--I think it has to do with salt fasting...but there are specific tests that are done. This is one that I am NOT as familiar with so I am going to have to look it up. HOWEVER, I am guessing that when you get your blood tests back that your potassium will be significantly lower and probably deficient (<4.0). High potassium does not cause edema (swelling). Low potassium can because the balance of potassium and sodium helps regulate the movement of water. And low potassium can be a result of drinking too much (un-salted) water. It can also be the result of low protein.
