Hi girlies!
You're all doing well!! All you lovely losers!! So excited (and a little jealous) of you guys!!! I've kinda' failed with the IE (intuitive eating). Between TOM, and my overall recovery from a lifetime of dieting and feeling deprived b.c of it, I don't think I can trust myself. Yet . To that point, I am doing a GYCD today. I'm 2lbs outside my window (again) and have decided that I will be working my way back down at least to LDW, preferably lower for a bit. I will be doing a more clean P3 style of eating until I am below LDW. I'm going on vacation a week from Saturday, and want/need to get securely below LDW by then. Enough indulging, for now , I'll have my fun on vacation. I'll have a full kitchen and will be careful for bfast and pack lunches for our day hikes, then we'll likely eat out for dinner.I hope I'll be able to pop in more often. Once we move and settle a bit I'll be around more. you all!!

hey girls!
having a rough time this P3. sigh. I'm having some issues at work (self sabotaging, ugh) and I am not dealing with the resulting stress very well. I'm still in my window (as of yesterday morning). I barely slept last night, so no weighing. I was happy to be in the window after sunday's eatfest (mostly legal foods, darn hockey sadness) and soreness from my workshop on saturday). so I'm going to cut my P4 a little short, I think, and start P2 again a week or 10 days earlier than I'd planned, and do it for the extra week. or so I say now. my head isn't in this phase and I'd like to go lower before doing a proper P4 (even though that could be counterproductive). I also am planning to do a 5k in august, and am NOT a runner, and don't want to start training on P2. so yeah, sooner = better, maybe? blah blah blah, eh? hope you're all having a great day. ![]()

Well Ladies
I just got rid on my high fat high calorie breafast .I ruined our carpet had to take a shower![]() Not use to so much fat I guess.Or maybe my diabetes rejecting it? ![]() I had a friend tell me I should try grazing instead of eating it all at once. I think next time for lunch I will try that! Boy I don't want to do that again my clothes are in the washer too ![]() So much for my 1st load day ![]() |

Roberta you can do it!!!! My tummy doesn't handle high fat loads well either so this round I ate what I wanted but surprisingly only gained 2 pounds hehe
Good job on losing ladies!!! Star, I admire you with the running thing...I have achilles tendonitis so I can never run too long...I have an elliptical that I will use this summer once in P4 and eating complex carbs...I figure I'd do the elliptical then go to the beach and worship the sun...sounds like a good plan to me.... |

Star- sorry your struggling. I admire you & Julie for running. I always see people out running and wish I were like that, but you wouldn't catch me out there for all to see. I do love my treadmill, but I walk / jog, never run. When are you going back to P2? Roberta- Hope the rest of Load Day 1 went a little easier! At 140.4 today which is normal for me...I tend to lose then hold so I'll see 139 in a day or two I just hope I can get to 130! I'm done May 16th...if I reach 130 before then I'll stop ![]() That's umm...10 more pounds lol!! The infamous "last ten" Here's to some losses for you guys! |

Sunny, you are SO close to that new decade!!! ![]() Yea Roberta!! VLCD #1 for you! I hope you have a great day!! Star! You are running now too??? I have to get back in there with ya'll!!! I am going to add some low intensity yoga here in the next week! I can't handle not stretching and stuff! I love yoga and have bought a groupon for some pilate classes back in Texas for the summer! Ok, you may have already heard me scream....it was rather shrill this morning! Woke the dogs up even...and they don't stir before 10 for nothing! 264.8.....WHAT?????????????? I have gone up every day since I saw my loss on Sunday of 263.8. Three days later and I am UP a pound. Correct me if i am wrong...but aren't we supposed to be losing on this stuff? ![]() Everything is carefully measured and weighed (way ahead of time on the meats!) I'm sticking to exactly the stuff we are supposed to have...not having any unallowed veggies etc...I only had one fruit yesterday ![]() I'm getting in 120-150 oz water everyday, plus 20-40 oz of green tea, plus my morning coffee. I usually only eat three of my melba rounds (which translates to the 45 calories) if i even eat them at all!I track my calories in ****** (in my sig if you want to check that out!) and i hover right around 470-510 or so R1 i didn't measure the half and half i just splashed an inch or so, this round i am measuring out 2 tbs! I've all but cut the walden farms out. I only use the chocolate sauce (1-2tbs) in my am coffee. Haven't touched the other stuff (the dipping sauces!) and I even had a pretty good visit from B this morning! I just don't know what to do? ![]() ![]() ![]() Have ya'll ever heard of someone GAINING on the homeopathic ???I don't want to go spend the 100 every three weeks for my dr...AND i was wanting to do a bit longer on the hhcg just to get a bit closer before i move home! But at this rate....I will be 300 before i move home!!!! And i've already gotten rid of my fatter clothes! I wore a pair of 16 pants yesterday (I was a 20/22 when i started) and they weren't even tight! Now of course, I've never been able to wear "anything" in what ever size i've bought...if one thing fits, four others won't in that size...crazy sizing! I hope everyone has a good day! I am off this morning to a Dr apt...then to school AND it is a late day w/ my after school group! I was going to get them cupcakes or something...i just hate buying then sweets! Maybe i will let them have my girl scout cookies! I'd rather splurge on a big cupcake! If i'm going to splurge on anything (p4 of course! ) |

Theresa my losses sucked on hhcg...could it be when you start rx then switch you don't lose well? I remember I had a 12 day stall where I gaIned the same weight and lost it (3 pounds) it might not be true but who knows?
Might be time to do an apple day if you stall...but if you're gaining maybe try to cut out the half and half and just have skim milk and only two Melba's...and try fish and chicken no beef for the next few days? I lose better on fish... Last edited by SunnyFL; 04-25-2012 at 04:50 AM.. |

Theresa- hate the way this going, please consider b/c, you've already paid right? They have other stall breakers too besides the apple day, more like P3 CD's. Maybe that would get you going and you'd get some yummy fat! Hope the hunger is better today, good luck at the Dr. I can't believe it but I'm down again. I know I don't post much here, but I follow along and am so impressed by you ladies. You guys are so amazing for doing this, especially those who do numerous rounds. That shows amazing willpower!
I'm inching closer to P3 and wanted to know if anyone has any tips for best success. I can't wait to incorporate more food as I'm super tired already and its been WAY too many days. Any help is appreciated and congrats to all those who lost today. =D |

Hope it's tomorrow!! Tonya- Mexican!! So love it!! Fajitas w.o the tortilla has been about it for me. And some guacamole and chips! Yum!! I bought the Jose Cuervo light margarita mix and some tequila the other day. It's in the fridge waiting for me to get low enough in my window to try it out. Maybe sometime next week? Here's hoping!!I'm going to have to put the IE on the back burner for me a bit. Maybe when I'm away on vacation I'll try to do it again. The scale has been climbing too much for me while enjoying myself. I think the real scale war began when I added in running. I haven't been able to get back down where I was before it. I intellectually know that the running is better for me than a number on the scale, but emotionally I'm scared if I let this 3lb gain stay with me, it'll grow and I'll be back up where I used to be. So, I'm taking the rest of this week to try and get back down a bit and settle in (while running) back to my lower numbers. I'm afraid of vacation as I usually gain 5-10lbs. I want to enjoy myself w.o. undoing all my hard work. We'll see. Maybe I will be intuitive not indulgent in my eating and surprise myself .I'm only down 1.8 from my very strict GYCD. And I'm still 0.2 out of my window . I'm not sure why the CD's aren't effective for me these days? But it's really annoying!! . I am doing clean P3 style eating today and then have a steak day planned tomorrow. Sigh. Hopefully that'll get me back to LDW. If not, I'll have to keep working on it. I really want to be at (or preferably below) my LDW by next weekend. We're supposed to leave the 5th for vaca. I will bring my scale this time. It'll be annoying, but I think it will help me make good choices, not day after day of indulging w/o knowing where I am. Sigh.But, on a happy note. In a little over a week I'll be hiking around Utah. Can't wait for Zion Nat'l Park. we're doing Bryce Canyon too, and likely Arches too. Soo pretty and I love being out in the middle of God's glorious creation!!! Helps put all those little stresses (moving, downsizing etc.) in perspective!! ![]() |

Oh Theresa, I hate that you are having these issues!!
I have been having hunger issues myself. Yesterday I went ahead and tried upping my dose. My goodness was that the wrong way to go! I was absolutely STARVING last night. I swear, I could have eaten my own arm. All I could think about was food. I ate dinner, then my apples a couple of hours later, then I took a long bath to distract myself. I decided my dose must be too high, so I skipped last nights dose and will try only 2 doses a day and see if it gets better. I really wanted to keep going on this round until I lose 30 lbs, but if I can't get this hunger under control, I'm stopping doses Sunday, the 21st day. I didn't have this hunger issue on round 1. Not like this. The good news is, I woke to 2.7lbs gone and a new decade So at least I was rewarded for my suffering.![]() Gotta run, Cindy T

Afternoon! Flying by...
2nd UD of JUDDD having tuna salad in a flat out wrap w/ sweet potato fries for lunch. Had my usual LC omelete & susage for brekki but added some skim milk. Yesterday DD wasn't bad...My tummy only growled once or twice the whole day! Of course right before bed time but it didn't wake me during the night so I'm good! LOL Have a great day and KEEP LOSING!
