Yay for my loser friends!!! Theresa-so glad you were finally rewarded!!I'm down a bit from my steak day and moving forward w. an intuitive eating plan for the weekend. Nothing is forbidden, and I'm not going to force higher fats. We'll see where I land. But, I'm kinda' moving past the P3 metality of push the fat and cals up really high. I'm settling into lifetime maintenance. I'm running quite happily these days, feeling healthy and active. My fam is ready for me to live life more, and not be watching and working at it all the time. KWIM? SO, on I go. Shirley- I get a brazillian blowout yesterday. A deep keratin treatment that is supposed to reduce frizz, protect and coat the hair, and basically make it easy to style and maintain. Haven't washed it yet, so the jury's still out, but I like it this morning even w/ bed head .Have a great weekend all!!

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to my hot mama's on their losses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
![]() So happy you got that weight down Theresa!! Sometimes my body holds on to water and I can feel it in my feet and hands... I'm at 141.8 today, not worrying, I have lost 10 pounds since I started so it's ok Jeanette so JEALOUS you get to be on P3!!! I'll still be trucking along on P2 until March 16th...but I might end it earlier depending on my losses. At the clinic the Dr. asked me what my goal was and I said 130 because I stabilize 5 pounds over when I add in sugar and starches in moderate amounts...and she was like well I think that will be possible this round with the way you are going! We shall see I say!!! I would actually LOVE to breach the 120's....like 128 or so, wow...haven't weighed that since I was 13...LOL...and 132 I haven't weighed since I was 18....I'm 32!!! LOL... I am so excited this round! But the blues keep trying to sneak in! Yesterday I was so happy I got the job and my phone was ringing off the hook with people wanting to know (I felt so loved I swear ladies, I feel like I have been invaded by an angry little alien called HCG and it just tries to take over!Needless to say he cooked me dinner, chicken with leeks and I had my coffee and we cuddled on the couch for an hour, then he carried me to bed (yes, he CARRIED me to bed...WHAT!!! Haven't had that since 2003! LOL) and I went to sleep. Woke up much better...with energy, cleaned the house, did laundry etc. and now just realized it's almost 12 pm and I haven't had any food!! On another note, are you all having a hard time drinking your water? I manage to get in 64 oz. but I am literally pushing it down, I hate the way it makes me feel. I just have no appetite for anything, which is good I suppose, but it also adds to my blah feelings as I love food...hmmm... Oh and has anyone tried SAM-E ? I take St. Johns Wort and I know it helps A LOT to keep my mood in check, but wondering if for the rest of P2 I should try something different. It's just SO expensive! So before I start, would like some feedback from my girls!!! Anywho, have an awesome Saturday lovies!!!!!!! I'm off to do the cha-cha-mambo with my mop! ![]()

Hey ladies! Down 1 lb to 185 so 1 above LDW. I had 2 small margartias last night at Mexican. We had a ball!
I guess I'm starting JUDDD today! I think...Only thing I'm realizing about counting calories is that it's hard when you're eating out at a restaurant that doesn't have calorie counts. I do havea CK pocket book that I can use to look up values as well as all the sites on the web. Going to a Seafood place tonight. So excited to be able to have wine again and chocolate! Thinking of splitting an order of the Chocoperfection Bars w/ a lady at work! They are awesome! Anyway, congrats on all the LOSSES! GO GIRLIES! Have a great Saturday!

![]() I am so supper sorry that you keep having the blues pop up on you...but WOW how sweet your DH is!!! He carried you to bed?!? omgee! I'm gushing for you!!! I would like for someone to just be able to pick me up! ![]() Not sure what SAM E is...so no help for you! I've had moments where im a raging B! Not so much depressed (well, no more than normal!) but these angry spurts i haven't experienced before! I am hungry today...was hard not to eat before i go cook my lunch. Had coffee and a 30 oz water. I am ready for lunch though. AND my legs are super sore...like my calves want to cramp up. I am sure it is from the water pill. I will do today like everyday...eat on plan, 150 oz + water and please no hunger...though i need to add in about 60+ cals some where...i'm thinking 400 is too low? But that is where I ended up after planning my food...and i even added 1/2 c of each of my veggies! I'm gonna go eat lunch and try to motivate myself to do something productive today! Talk with ya'll soon! Have a great afternoon! Last edited by icecreamjunkie; 04-21-2012 at 08:58 AM.. |

Roberta- I've seen you all over this board, I'm so happy your taking the time to learn so much about this program before you start! It will only help you to have a very successful round! Your going to do great! Look forward to watching your journey! Well, I'm up 2 today, still below ldw, need some major potty time, and prob ate too many "smoked almonds" yesterday from Sprouts. Not stressing it, they were pretty salty. Ever have a day where you just can't feel satisfied eating? That was me! Will reign it in today. Oh well, life goes on! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend, we had a "cool front" come in Dallas, and it's beautiful outside! Will be working in the yard & planting all weekend! Have a great day Ladies! Tonya |

So I guess my second post from yesterday didn't show up! I probably just ran out of time per usual! I'll try to get caught up again
Jeanette - You're kickin butt this round!! ![]() Theresa - my BF very much understands my way of eating and he's adapting most of his habits to align with mine. He can make some pretty amazing Linda Sue dishes!! yummm. Bummer that the girlies at your school didn't keep their mouth shut. YAY on your loss!!!![]() otobthin - you're SOOO close to onederland!! How's it goin today? Julie - I LOVE the hairdo - you're a beauty! The snow is pretty much all slush now, closing day at one of my resorts is tomorrow so we'll go play in the slush then just BBQ and chill. Sunny - Your hubby sounds quite wonderful!!!!! Such a loving guy to make sure you're taken care of. I haven't SAM-E or SJW but I might look into it so I'm not as grumpy sometimes! Natasha - Girlie if we're EVER in the same city (or state?) we should go get fajitas and margs together!! Tonya - those smoked almonds are my evil nemesis! I LOVE but HATE them! Grr!! Hope you have a nice day out in the yard! Roberta - Have you stocked your fridge and prepped your P2 foods yet?-- Down .5 to 160 today! I was quite happy with it, I thought I would be up because I was well over 2100 for the day. I kept my numbers low-ish during the day in preparation of possibly having a late dinner at Illegal Petes or our favorite diner downtown. Brekkie and lunch ended up being <800 cals with lots to spare for dinner. Wow... I totally realized that fudged up my numbers in ******! I actually added what I THOUGHT we were going to have for dinner (chipotle chicken bowl) and it was claiming 620 calories! I ate about a half cup of smoked almonds at the lacrosse game... Per my fudged ****** numbers this would have put me at 1825 for the day (higher than what I've been trying to get to lately). So I was like eh, bummer well I'm done for food for the day. Along with the almonds I had two crown and diets at the game so I'm assuming ~200 for those (I had free tix for friends so they bought me drinks as a thanks). THEN BF and I went to a concert and I had another crown&diet, so another ~100. SO I thought I was at at least 2100 but in all reality I only hit ~1500! Sheesh! What a mess. The lacrosse game was fun (even though they lost) and the concert rocked! Earlier today I ran around town getting some things done now I'm at home trying to get caught up on laundry and maybe prep some food for the week. BF and I were going to head out for dinner (FAJITAS?!!??!!?!!!) somewhere tonight but he scored a free ticket to sit with our buddy at the Rapids (soccer) game so I'll be on my own for dinner. I still want fajitas. Okay I should get some housework done... I'll be back later I'm sure! (AKA everyone should start posting so I can come reply and put off the house work! )

Woohoo Amy! All of the yumminess AND a loss?!? AWESOME! I love that your BF has adapted! That is perfect you can both eat healthy!!!
Tonya, I am sure you are just a bit salty from the almonds and it will go away quickly!! I woke up two days ago thinking "uh oh...feel a bit congested" Thinking it was allergies i took a zyrtec and went to work. Woke up yesterday w/ one of those sore throats that you know is from congestion drainage...kinda hurts to swallow? So, today still stuffy and sore SO I don't know if my slightly sore legs and tired are from that or from the water pill or from the hcg? ugh! i hate variables....BUT I'm freakin' hungry today...again, it isn't bad...i'm not gonna die or anything but I would probably not say no to a dbl bacon cheeseburger with avocado and mayo! NO bun OF COURSE! I ate my strawberries and 2 melba snacks I feel guilty when i eat the melba. I have noticed that I haven't been as cold as I thought i would have been. I went out a while ago to do errands and actually was burning up! I associated it more to feverish. On a totally random note! I bought two pair of flip flops from kohl's...stinkin' cute w/ fluffy pink frilly things on them...vera wang.....![]() ![]() I am ready to throw them in the trash! The right one won't stay on my feet AT ALL I durn near fell in publix! If i hadn't already thrown away the shipping/receipt I would so throw them in the trash! I started looking at them when i got home and the little elastic piece that holds the strap to the shoe is at LEAST 1/4" longer on the right than on the left! I bought them in blue too...haven't checked those! If i lived near a Kohl's i would take them in...but i had to order them!grrrrrr Then the mail man brought me a package! A super cute pair of espadrille shoes!! ![]() |

Amyyyyyy, you're making me giggle. I tried my hand at some lemon cupcakes for my friend today, and hubs said my lemon frosting was awesome, but the cake was dry. I realized what did wrong: used coconut flour. That stuff will dry anything out! I would remake the batch, but I don't have enough almond flour, and honestly don't feel like processing some. My friend will love it just the same.
Theresa, take 'em back. Kohl's takes anything back for any reason. Hope you feel better. I've also got to go grocery shopping, but I don't want to do anything at all! I picked up a lot of stuff for the shower, and we're having a pizza party (I won't be eating any)... I will be in P4 by the time of the wedding reception June 16th so I will definitely enjoy that because Publix's wedding cake is dabomb diggity and my very favorite!!! Sending BIG HUGS! YAY more posts, less housework!
Theresa - bummer about the flippers! I have a pair of RocketDog ones I got at DSW last year with little flowers on them. BF's little cat thought they were dinner so they have bite marks in them.. lol. silly cat. YAY new shoes! I had to google what espadrille was - are they flats, wedges or heels? I want new shoes tooooo!Jeanette - From what I've learned you have to add TONS of extra eggs to anything with coconut flour! It's crazy! Good thing I buy eggs 5 doz at a time.. lol. I want to bake cupcakes now.. yum! Still have to figure out what I'm making for BF's bday.. it might be Cleo's ultimate cheesecake (your lighter side) with strawberry topping.. yum! ![]() |

I would DIE if my shoes stopped fitting! I collect shoes...I have over 50 pairs LOL...all designer shoes, yes I have a shoe fetish. I always get steals on them and buy when Saks has their friends and family discount LOL...my pride and joy is my pair of Manolo's I got at Bergdorf's for $200 from $500...sometimes being a size 6.5 has its perks
Also purses...did I mention those? Sigh' Thankfully since I am losing weight I haven't bought new clothes cuz everything is big, or shoes! Some I am sad about...I have Lilly Pulitzer dresses, size 12/13/14 sitting in my closet that I won't wear ![]() I should sell them on eBay... Last edited by SunnyFL; 04-21-2012 at 02:48 PM.. |

When you're reading posts, do you tend to look for a like button, as in Facebook? I like all these posts, they make me smile! LOL!
Hope my weigh in goes okay because I feel fat. I just ate of course so that's why, but still! Lunch and dinner were a bit rogue with ground turkey and tomatoes, and dinner with tilapia and green beans. |

And I am so not losing much tummy fat, hubby says I am, but I feel so squishy, ugh!!!! ![]() I know people have talked about this before in a thread, but I can see myself getting to my "goal" and will I be happy? I want new shoes!!! Maybe when I get to goal (whatever that is!!) then I'll go replenish.
Sunny - I know what you mean about the "goal" number. I'm the closest I've ever been (lol well not including today, see below). and I don't think I'm even remotely close to being done. (could just be body image issues) I still have far to go.. Hopefully Julie chimes in on this, I'd like to hear what she might have to say. Roberta - Looks like you're ready to go! I see celery on the veggies list but not green beans. Maybe hold off on those for a little bit first Last night was the attack of super bloat! (rawr!!) Who just lost 5.5 pounds?! Because I sure as heck just gained it! ****** for yesterday - 1546/92.2/92.4 (80.3 net)/73.7. I'm definitely pointing at the fajitas and chips (sodium) as the culprit. I could stick my belly out really far last night, it was disturbing. Anywho, can't do a realistic CD today so I'm keeping it clean and sticking with what I had planned. Drinking lots of water and hope to knock this retention out! Hope everyone has a nice Sunday! |

Ladies, I guess when I am actually closer to goal I think I will struggle with those same issues about goal weight. According to my height, I'm supposed to weigh about 115-125, and I think I would be happy at 135.
VLCD1 - 182.0, VLCD2 - 179.0, VLCD3 - 178.0, VLCD4 - 176.5, VLCD5 - 176.0, VLCD6 - 175.0, VLCD7 - 174.5, VLCD8 - 174.0, VLCD9 - 173.0, VLCD10-172.5, VLCD11-172.5, VLCD12-173.0, VLCD13-172.0 VLCD14-172.0 STS I'm okay with STS because I KNOW I haven't cheated, I've been perfect on program. Tomorrow the whoosh fairy shall visit! Good luck to you all! Only 11 more days till Bacon… Last edited by MemoryKeeper; 04-22-2012 at 05:47 AM.. |

It's exciting isn't it?!? ...and kinda scary all at the same time! Or at least i was way nervous of doing something wrong! YOU will do AWESOME!!! ![]() I know I wasn't so sure how to proceed at first, but this round the sunday before i started I went to sams and the commissary and stockpiled meat...came home defatted what i could, weighed it and into little freezer bags it went! At sams i got a bag of tilapia they are already single servings (usually weighing in around 100-109g..they are SO lean i don't worry about the extra nine grams). My freezer looks like nothing but freezer bags! Veggies I was always getting about 2x a week! I totally forgot about asparagus!Ohhhhh, i have to make the chicken/asparagus bake! Maybe my lunch tomorrow! Plus they and celery are faboo diuretics if you happen to usually feel "puffy" as i tend to! The green beans aren't on the original protocol...but they might just work for ya! Celery is for sure! I boil the daylights out of it, spice it up and use my emulsion blender to make a soup out of it, throw in some ground beef! ![]() Quote:
Sunny, I see your picture and your stats and think She's already BEAUTIFUL & HOT and at goal! However, i DO know exactly what you are talking about and I dare say more women (and some men) feel that way than most people know about. Get to goal and see how you feel. "Wear" it for a bit and maybe just ramp up the exercise. I do know however....that (for me this is something i'm still trying to figure out how to do) you must love yourself (WE LOVE YOU! ) and i KNOW your DH loves you~ he carried you to bed! Im sure coco and xander would carry me to bed if they could (coco would have to get off of it first!)!Also...remember it could just be the "alien" thinking these thoughts! Quote:
YOU my dear are NOT fat! You are SMOKIN'!!! I wonder why we aren't supposed to have turkey? It would be leaner than ground beef? |
