So this is a pic of the savory bun tuna sandwich. I didn't get the batter to fill up the iron so that's why a few end spots aren't fully connected.

Was this from the recipe on page 1? I really need to try this! The pics are very inspiring...
Good to know, thanks! The primitivo is like a (red) zinfandel. It shouldn't be sweet? Have you heard that it is? Thanks again... |

YIPPEE DOODLES! Natasha, I love the pizza crusts and the waffle! Did I miss the recipe? Can you direct me? LOVE the pictures...YOU DID IT!
Have a great evening. I just had some Bananas Foster Coffee with splenda. It was really good! Oh yeah, my daughter went to a grocery store that was going out of business and bought me 8 Ideal brown sugars and 5 Ideal white sugars for 50% off. I told her to buy all they had, and she did! YIPPEE SKIPPEE! I hope I get a visit from Bernice soon, and not just a postcard! I mean 5 days, seriously? HA HA! Sunny, hope you had a great day at work! Shelby, as always, thanks for your support. Marie, I'm definitely trying that pizza recipe. Miami, PenPen and Lyn, hope you're rockin' along!

Haha Ya'll Are Funny! I need a new waffle iron myself. That one is ok but I'd like a nice heavy duty one that dings when it's done like Alton Brown used!
Jeanette - Pizza crust recipe is on page 1 of this thread...Savory buns here. In P3 I used almond flour instead of atkins mix/carbquick Shelby said the buttermilk would be okay. I froze them and popped those in the toaster today. They were pretty good. At least you get to have a sandwich on something like bread! I used the square iron so had to put in more mix in order to get a full slice of bread but with the round one I would think it would be easier b/c it's in round shape. You might could make these in those muffin top pan thing ya'll talk about making oopsies in. Not sure thought maybe it needs the browning/crisping of the waffle iron??? SHERRIE'S SAVORY BURGER BUN *Preheat the waffle iron 1 8oz pkg cream cheese 3 eggs 3 tsp Splenda 1/2 cup Atkins Bake Mix 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp onion powder 1 tbsp parsley flakes 1/4 cup buttermilk Beat cream cheese with mixer until blended smooth, add the remaining ingredients. Spray round waffle iron with a light coat of olive oil flavored non stick spray and pour in about 1 tbps of mix. It will make a perfect round bun! You can freeze them and reheat them in the toaster! It should come out to about 1 carb per bun! Nutiritional Info Via ****** Calories Total: 72, Fat: 6 70% , Sat: 3 39% , Poly: 0 5%, Mono: 2 20%, Carbs: 1.2 6%, Fiber: .11 0%, Protein: 4 24%

OH and I like wine. The only ones I've tried really that I like are Beringer White Zen & Yellowtail Riesling. I know nothing about the notes or whatevers in wine but def am thinking about getting a bottle of the reisling this weekend. I think it's much lower in carbs than the white zen. If I like the Reisling what other wines would I like? I wouldn't mind venturing out! I do know I dislike red wines, I prefer blush or white.

Try a Rosé wine, it's a pInky sweet mix also a moscato which is a dessert wine but that might be to sweet for P3? I was able to have white and reds but I prefer reds since low carb

If you can find Gewutrzstraminer, you'd probably like that one as well--very similar to Riesling. Also, some Chenin Blancs which are just a little drier. A lot of blush wines are also pretty dry too, if you're not into that.
Oh and Riesling will probably have the same or more sugar than the white zin. If I were to pick one for P3, I would probably pick the Chenin Blanc. |

White merlot is a nice way to ease into reds, Natasha. Then you can try a merlot and go from there. Merlot has a smoother finish than some of the stronger reds.

Good morning! I'm down a pound today 188.5, so 9.5 for the round (VLCD20), that's almost .5 per day so I'll take it!
You ladies are so cute about your wines (and Tequela LOL), and I have no clue! I don't drink a drop of any alcohol, and wouldn't know a brand name to save my life (except what's advertised on television)... Have an amazing, fantastic day! and LOSE LOSE LOSE! |

Wow Girls! Thanks for all the wine tips!
I'm going to check out the carb contents on the net today at lunch!Woo Hoo Jeanette & Sunny - Moving On Down!! ![]() I weighed in at LDW today! Got rid of all that dang sodium! ![]() Today's menu: B - 2 scrambled eggs & 3 strips of bacon, sweet & spicy tea S - few almonds L - 3 square slices of my pizza D - chargrilled chicken salad from CFA w/ spicy/ranch dressing S - strawberries w/ hwc I have been feeling so stuffed for the past 2 days! I don't recall feeling like this last P3. I guess maybe this time it will take my body a few days to get used to it. Going from 500 to 2000 is a big change! My Cousin wants to do HCG b/c she's seen my success. The thing is she's about a 5X in size and I'm presuming she weighs too much for it to register on a regular scale. So she wouldn't be able to weigh every day. I told her one of the important things esp in P3 is that you weigh every single day! I told her I have stepped on the scale EVERY DAY since Oct 24th! But she still wants to do it. I told her how important everything is esp P3/P4 is and what could happen. She's wondering about having her coffee w/ splenda & half & half or what are the types of creamers you guys use? I've went over the food choices for P2 w/ her 2 or 3 times and am going to give her all the instructions I'd combined off this site for Protocol. |

I wanted to cheat sooooo bad tonight. I came home to hot pizza cut and ready to eat. I had to say NO to that, and grab out my frozen turkey burger with salsa. It was super delicious though, so I'm glad I waited and made my own meal!

Marie - Getting close!!! Yay!
Jeanette - Good job! It's SO HARD! I know! Guess what, since I've been in P3 I've not even thought about pinterest! LOL But am going to go on in a few to see if anything good is showing up on the homepage. Then I'm hitting the couch! I'm tired...And nervous still about this job that my Boss, his peer and the VP seem to be anxious for me to take this job. I'm going to talk tot he hiring manager a little more tomorrow and take the weekend to decide. Checked and my Yellowtail Riesling only has 3.6 carbs per 6oz and just happened to click on Sauvignon Blanc which was described as "tropicalish" and it's only 0.7 carbs for 5oz so I think I may try it as well! I'm getting me a bottle Saturday! The bottle of white zin I have will just last a little longer! |

So I went and had pedi's and we ended up eating at this yummy place called Leftover's. I had grilled chicken and broccoli...ate half my chicken.
I am really thinking of ending this P2 very soon...like maybe tomorrow depending on my weigh in. I am losing so slowly that it doesn't seem rational to last 12 days and just lose 2 pounds. I am curious to see my weight tomorrow, I know the veggies had some sort of butter on it but I really didn't care much. It felt WONDERFUL to be out and about in a restaurant! I didn't have wine because it's a trigger on P2 for me so I had water with lime So yea, I might be joining you ladies in P3 land very soon ![]() Miami- I found the Pinot Noir Layer Cake at Whole Foods. They don't sell it at Publix, but do you guys have a total wine? Sometimes they carry it...otherwise the Layer Cake Malbec is yummy and Shiraz

Sunny, Pretty feet - YAY!
Natasha, I love pinterest! Hours can wile away when I'm on it! YIKES-A-RAMA! I'm making mini coconut cakes for my friends at work. Really, I enjoy cooking and baking, especially when I say it's "sugar free," and the ooohs and aaahs! I can even resist for now hee hee! I will post pics because it's really low carb. I made my own coconut icing, which I think is going to be really good! I will post recipe and pics later this evening... |
