LOL! HEE HEE! "Lasering nuts" good one Star! gmbo (giggling my butt off).....
Natasha, did you find the recipe? Good morning all! Okay, I am definitely increasing my calories today. Weigh in at 180.5, I have not been wanting to eat, nothing seems appealing. B: black coffee with splenda L: huge salad with 2 oz feta, boiled egg, whole avocado, oil/vinegar dressing and cucumbers D: Chuck Roast I know that is too few calories, but I am just so exhausted, working 12 hour days that I just wasn't in the mood. I had about 3 T of HWC in my coffee today to get those calories up! I NEVER thought I would find myself in a place where I wasn't trying to lose, and I kind of like the feeling! I did find a recipe in my Low Carbing Among Friends Cookbook last night for "bread" pudding. The only thing I need is a low carb rum sauce, any ideas or recipes anyone could share?

Natasha, the pizza recipe is at your lighter side and it's called the deep dish pizza crust.
Regular Pizza 1 cups packed cup cooked, minced chicken breast (6 oz. of chicken) 1 cups packed mozzarella, shredded (5.5 oz of cheese) 1 Tbsp parsley, dried 1 tsp salt 1 tsp basil 1/2 tsp onion powder 1/2 tsp garlic powder Deep Dish 1.5 cups packed cup cooked, minced chicken breast (9 oz. of chicken) 1.5 cups packed mozzarella, shredded (8 oz of cheese) 1 Tbsp parsley, dried 1 tsp salt 1 tsp basil 1/2 tsp onion powder 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. 2. Process chicken and cheese and seasonings together. Mixture will resemble a meal/thick, dense crumb consistency. 3. Pam spray very well the bottom of a 10″ springform cheesecake pan. (You could even try a cake pan). 4. Firmly press chicken/cheese mixture into springform pan. 5. Bake for 20 minutes. 6. Top with sauce, cheese, and rest of toppings. 7. Bake for 20 more minutes. 8. Let cool for five minutes in pan. 9. Carefully open springform pan. (or flip onto a plate or flat surface if using a cake pan). 10. Slice and serve. |

Jeanette - SOUNDS GREAT!!! Don't know that I've ever bought minced chicken. Is it like the canned chicken breast meat? What if I used that? I already have a few cans on hand. I could drain off the water and squeeze out the rest.

Jeanette-do you put the chicken and cheese in a food processor to "process"? I would like to try that recipe. I cooked some chicken breast in the crock pot w/ broth and am always looking for good recipes that use it! This sounds intriguing. I didn't really love the cauli crust pizza and found it a lot of work for not enough reward! I usually just decapitate regular pizza and call it a day! And, btw, what a wonderful problem you're facing!! How lovely!! I hope you can stabilize well and yet
for continuing to lose!! ![]() Sunny-you are too funny!! hope you enjoyed your bfast!! and Bailey-you're super stable!! WTG!! I hope I can do that!! I'm on VLCD22 and lost 0.6 overnight, down to 149.6 today. I think I will keep going a bit longer and see how low I can get. This is the lowest weight I've been as an adult. I would love to get down a few more lbs and see what happens in maintenance. ![]() I'm planning on P3 next week. I can't wait to have some fat!! Enjoy ladies!!

Staying in the window, only up .1 this am so I'm very happy because I had some almonds AND Carbmaster yogurt yesterday, so I was a very happy camper this morning! I just could not wait to add them in and so I took a risk! Glad it worked out!
Great job, all! |

well, I'm well and truly above my window...one one side of the scale. just inside it in the other.
egg day it is. I've had one scrambled in coconut oil, and am boiling 6 more, which I'll either eat as-is or make into devilled eggs. probably all of them to get the fat levels up. SO not impressed, this was supposed to be day 1 of P4, now it's a GD CC!MEHHHH. hope the rest of you have a much better day. |

I missed checking in with all of you yesterday, had a very full day from early morning until early morning again -
My GY day on Tuesday brought me down almost 2 pounds but this morning after doing total induction level LC I am up one pound of that 1.8 correction. *sigh* but I am weighing slightly earlier, and if I count my "adjusted" window I am just barely ok for now. I am having my coconut flour pancakes and GY with baker's cocoa and stevia for brx and heading to work! Glad you all are doing well - Sunny, sorry about the tree nuts but yes, you should laser them tee hee hee.... Star, sorry about the egg day, they're not my favorite but they are effective. Jeanette, awesome you are still keeping it down LOW Julie, awesome losses!!!! Bailey and Lyn, nice job staying in the <window>

thanks marie, your coconut flour pancakes sound extra delicious to me today! hehe!
I can't understand how my weight bounced up. I feel less bloated than I have in a couple of days. I HAVE had too many strawberries this week, then had some (sugar and grain free) apple crumble at my sister's place last night. could my off-the-charts sore quads be the culprit, at least partly? oh, and a bad sleep last night. ah well...egg day, let's be friends, ok? |

I did not lose last nite - maybe it was the lean ground beef patty....my foreman grill worked beautiful tho. Now the meat said 93% lean and 7% fat and i cant believe how much fat drained out with the grill.
Sunny- you mentioned chile- on P2 I clicked the link and got the brand from netrition, i don't think you meant P2.Good day to all !!!! |

Yet another question. I see some people that are on P2 have an egg and egg whites listed on their menu. I am looking at the Simeons protocal and see nothing about eggs ?

Yellow-I thought Simeon's allowed, occasionally, 1 egg + 3 egg whites as a protein source (sub for your normal protein). Gosh, I hope I remember that correctly. Either way I've only managed to have it twice this round and lost well both times. I'd like to have it more often, but I'm on the run too much these days! Sorry, for the no loss
. What day are you on? I had a beef patty the past 2 nights (Wendy's and InnOut) and did ok. Anything else different? Some people don't lose well on beef. It's always worked better for me. YMMV!Memory-you enjoy that stable weight!! Woohoo!! Star-hope your egg day goes well!! I'm a GYCD kinda' girl myself ![]() Marie-bummer on the rebound gain after your CD . Hope you have a good day today. You sound insanely busy!! I just made choc truffles for a dessert raffle at church on Sunday. I tasted a teeny little bit of the mint ones b/c dd said they tasted bad. They were ok. the regular are better. I have to roll them soon! That's going to be really hard. I wish I had gloves!! I'll wash my hands right away afterwards. Seriously hard to do though!! Temptation galore! ![]() Just had a 2nd apple. Darn those ambrosia's!! They're so yummy!! With the egg/egg white dinner I have planned I can add that apple. |

I don't know how you can make those truffles and not give in - what torture - be good. Well i could be blind on the egg thing unless it is somewhere else in the manual. Tonite will be cabbage and chicken - an orange for a treat later and maybe a grissini. I am on major carb withdrawel - i was eating tons of fruits along with chips, ice cream and candy prior.

Yes P2 Chili!!!
You take the 100 grams of ground lean beef (I used ground buffalo/bison) take 1 cup of chopped canned tomatoes (I use hunts petite diced) add garlic powder salt cayenne pepper paprika garlic (1 tsp chopped) cinnamon 1/4 cup water braggs liquid aminos I use a lot of seasoning so sodium doesn't affect me. I season to taste so I don't have measurements. mix and cook all together, let simmer...and serve!!! it's amazing and yes it's P2 Chili! Natasha, Jeanette and myself literally SURVIVED P2 eating this, it's delish and I STILL make it now in P4 except I add beans. In P3 I double the meat and and sour cream on top for taste and add onions. You can play around with it but it's yummy. Ok so ladies i had happy hour with my friend. I ate A LOT! I had a cheeseburger, and almond cake AND carrot cake and three glasses of wine. So yea I'm doing low carb straight P3 tomorrow. I don't think I will weigh myself so as to not get upset. BUT I am ok, I don't feel bad...I had fun and it was mentally healthy. She is a counselor too and we just talked and talked. Bottom line, my SOUL feels better...if that makes sense. I feel like I let a load off.... Tomorrow is a new day, Clean P3!

Thank you for the chile recipe, i take it i brown the meat first, drain the fat, then add everything else and just heat. I am not a cook and need baby directions
I have lost 4 pounds since load days-so that has been a pound a day-did not go to the bathroom since last load day - should i stick it out or take something ? I plan on buying some cod today-question-after i cook it and put 3.5 oz into baggies do i just freeze those ? When i am ready to eat one do i just microwave it to heat up. I want to start cooking in batches this weekend. Can i do the same with veggies ? |

Yes brown the meat
I don't drain the fat since its only 93% fat I used. So brown meat, I season it once added to the pan, some salt garlic powder and cayenne. The rest of the seasoning I add after meat is browned then add tomatoes, and water and let simmer on low for like 20 min or so. I weighed in at 147 so low carb today, so surprised I wasn't higher! I ate a lot of carbs and white bread. Have a good day ladies! |

Morning! Up .5 @ 192 this morning so tip top end of my window! I don't doubt it - I had a gourmet strawberry cupcake yesterday for Boss' birthday and DH wanted Chinese for dinner last night. I had mongolian beef w/ a little brown rice & 1 egg roll. It was SO good! Tonight going out for Mexican!
Sunny - Your happy hour sounds devine! You needed it mentally! I approve! I haven't made Chili since early P3 so I do believe I will be making a pot on Sunday WITH BEANS! Jeanette - I will also pick up the stuff at the store to make a piizza again this week using the chicken crust! One of DH and I's fav pizzas we used to get at PH was chicken, jalapenos, mushrooms & diced tomatoes. It was the bomb! B - 2 scrambled eggs w/ cheese, 1 tbsp peanut butter, strawberries w/ truvia L - leftover lc pizza, salad w/ ranch/caesar mix D - chicken fajitas, guac few chips & salsa & maybe a margarita! TGIF!!!!

Hi ladies! WTG Sunny, I know you will do great and you had white bread and all! Natasha you will LOVE the pizza. Unless you're adding chicken as a topping, it doesn't really taste like chicken.
Hello Marie, Star, Shelby, Julie and Shirley! (hope I didn't leave anyone out YIKES-A-RAMA!) HANG IN THERE and keep on working the plan! WOOT! WOOT! 180.5 again today, so weird. Here's what I ate yesterday: B: 3-4 T of HWC in my coffee L: huge salad with chunky bleu cheese dressing, an avocado, romano cheese, cucumbers D: Deep dish pizza with a chunk of sausage and chunk of Italian Cheese and a "bread" pudding I made from the cookbook, and caramel sauce made with walden's caramel sauce (I love that stuff), rum flavor, butter and Ideal brown sugar. and 2 sf chocolate candies (miniatures). Yellowhair, I made everything on the weekends and froze it so I could grab and go. Here's what I have in my freezer during P2: P2 chili in individual containers Cooked fish in zip lock bags Cooked French Onion Soup Cooked/grilled chicken breasts For evenings I tried to have easy, quick things to make as well: Raw measured ground beef in zip lock bags Frozen shrimp (quick and easy to cook) Frozen scallops I like to thaw my beef and cook it with cabbage (I used a pound of cabbage) and seasoned it, and it was delicious. I also liked to use Walden's sugar free/calorie free caramel sauce to dip my apple in or cook the apple in the microwave and pour the caramel on it. I hope this helps, and you're doing great so hang in there. Don't forget to make your emergency kit to keep with you. I wrote about that on another post, but let me know if you need help with that. I'm starting back on March 31st if anyone wants to join me. 23 days this time, no doubt! |

French Onion Soup (1 Serving)
1 onion (I used a yellow onion) Sliced thin 1 T. white sugar substitute (I use Ideal brand) 2 tsp. liquid smoke butter spray 2 cups of beef broth 1/2 cup of water 1 melba toast seasoning to taste (I use more onion powder, garlic powder and steak pepper) Carmelize your onion in the butter spray, liquid smoke, seasonings and using the beef broth as needed (stir often, do not allow it to burn). If you cook it 20-30 minutes it will develop a nutty sweetness. Add the sugar substitute after 15 minutes of cooking. Continue cooking until well carmelized. Add remaining beef broth and half a cup of water. Bring to boil. Serve immediately with 1 crushed melba toast sprinkled over the top. It's a great way to have a veggie, but use a lower calorie meat because it's 65 calories. Or you could use half an onion to decrease the onion calories by half. |

Jeanette - you are so awesome to post all those recipes! Baileysgirl - i hope to have Mexican tonight too! I am super scared! 1st day of P4 for me! How in the world do you get away with Chinese and don't gain a boatload of water??? Sunny - Yay you on the soul feeling better!!! I am a counselor as well and when you carry others issues too long without having a release it can be so unhealthy! I am thankful I have someone to share with as well! yellowhair - the P2 chili really helped me julie - way to go on your lowest wt as an adult ![]() I am thinking about doing a second round this summer and try to do the same - I wanna get to 135 for wiggle room. star - I hope your cd worked! I have done egg/chicken leg days but never any of the others. I had to do 3 during P3. Always because of eating out and probably gaining from the sodium in foods. C'Marie - keep trucking along! I think that is it for personals! I am at my LDW 144.4 today TGIF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I'm about 10 days into P3 and stabilizing pretty well at 2 lbs under my LDW
![]() I am eating mostly Atkins induction style, but I have had a day with nuts (too many nuts and went up to my LDW the next day because I have no portion control with nuts) and have eaten strawberries fairly often. I just had to say, I had the pizza made with the chicken & cheese crust last night and it was fabulous. I don't have a springform pan, but I just cut a piece of parchment to fit the bottom of a 9" cake pan and it turned out great. I'm planning to make a s/f bbq sauce today and make a BBQ Chicken pizza very soon with that crust. YUM! I am really enjoying P3 and not missing carbs at all and I get nervous thinking about P4 coming up. I plan to start round 2 around the 10th-12th of April and will go 5 weeks or 30 lbs, whichever comes first I'm really looking foreword to losing more weight, not so much looking foreword to P2 foods![]() I have enjoyed reading this whole thread over the last 10 days and have learned so much from you all! I hope everyone has a great day! Cindy T

AND I'm UP again to my highest this round. This CD loss from my GY day on Tuesday only stayed off 2 days, going up some one day and the rest the next. Like Star says, "Le Sigh" LOL.....
I can't starve without hcg so I'm doing the best I can with the schedule I have. I was really planning on going back to the VLCD soon but I just looked at my schedule and I have a party to go to for one of my high school buddies - it's her 50th surprise party given by her lovely daughter..... so am very torn. I wonder if I can just hold it together here 5 pounds above LIW and not go any higher until then. It's the 16th, 2 weeks from now. I could use that weekend to load? maybe? Or maybe I'll just jump back on VLCD and bring my own food to eat.... sparkling water with lemon looks so festive in a goblet! |

Oh well, hasn't hurt me yet!! ![]() I am making a big batch of chili for a cookoff on Sunday. I am making a smaller batch of P2 chili for me . I kinda' burned out on it at the beginning of this P2, so it's been 2 weeks since I had it. I'm ready for it!! In fact, I'm having it for lunch .Marie-I'd hang in there for the 2 weeks. Take the little break. Those 5lbs will be gone the first few days on P2. Maybe you won't gain anything on your loading days either. Cindy-WTG!! MSgirl-way to go!! At LDW? Wonderful!! Enjoy P4!! Sounds like you're taking it slowly which is perfect!! Memory-thanks for that soup recipe. I may try that. Only it'll likely be P3 by the time I work it in. That way I can add some cheese . Enjoy your maintenance and I hope your next round goes well!!Sunny and Bailey- at staying in your window with such yummy indulgences!! So glad to hear that we can LIVE and still maintain!! gives me hope! ![]() I am down 0.6 today to VWT!! I'm 149 today. Lowest I've been since 6th grade. That will be my line if I continue to lose this round. Very happy.I am noticing that my P2 meals are seeming really big to me!! This is odd and I can't remember feeling this way on other rounds. Really pleased by that, especially this late in my game. My P2 chili over salad lunch (like a taco salad, kinda') seems huge right now. Had several bites but it seems to be growing in my bowl! Very unusual!!Have a great weekend!! Be strong and in control!! ![]() |

hi lovelies! I'm being sneaky at work, so I'm trying to pop on and off quick! I'm bad at personals, but I am pulling for and supportive of you ALL.
jeanette, I'm starting my next round a week before you! we can suffer together for 2 weeks. hehehe! so I'm back in my window. I was hoping for a more glorious loss! I got called into work at 6 am, so there went my sleep, and no bernice pre-weigh in. oh, and apparently it's my fertile period, going by my awesome period tracker app. ANNOYING. I'm going to eat p4 today and see what happens.

[QUOTE=julieboolie;15461234]LOL! And you're right. I went and re-read Simeon's again. There is no mention of eggs! Not sure where that idea came from. it's on the sticky here at LCF. Oh well, hasn't hurt me yet!!
![]() I'm looking at my copy now and on page 92, in the paragraph before "Vegetarians" it talks about eggs. Starts with "Many patients ask why eggs are not allowed" then says occasionally he allows the 1/3 combo. I believe I have the original copy, but who knows? I eat them 4-5 times a week. 24 days down and down -24.4lbs, and with a 5 day stall, and today ended a 6 day stall. Also, I'm 5"4 and weighed in today at 129, so great losses considering I don't have much left to lose. YMMV |
