Yesterday was uhmazing! Went to Cantina Laredo, had the best friggin mojito complete with a sugar cane stick! Had chips and guacamole, tacos al pastor and carnitas!
Weighed in at 146.2 but had no visit from Bernice...hmmm...I surely thought all that would send me but alas no.
I could only eat two of the tacos but it was so good! So lunch was leftovers. I had a coconut oskri bar (omg!) my coworker got me some.
Tonight having chili with whole wheat cornbread
I also found Lindt Extra dark chocolate truffles so I got some today.

Work was good today (gasp!) and I got three lamps to use instead of the awful office lights and it was so cozy! Everyone kept coming in to sit and were like wow this is like a calming spa lol...amazing wha right lighting does.

Sounds like everyone is doing ok. I was up a bit this morning but I am done with nut butters (I ate them all!) and dairy (mostly, anyway) for now, so I did ok during the day, was going to make it a protein-salad day but there was no salad mixings at work so I had my 3 chix drumsticks and lots of water and coffee. I was so busy I didn't really miss eating. Then on the drive home at 10 pm I decided I wanted some lime for my tequila, and ended up buying no sugar/nitrate turkey bacon, pork rinds, and garlic-stuffed greek olives, and added to my couple tablespoons sour cream I had a SALT-FEST with my tequila and lime. My hands are already swelling. Oh well! I didn't really overeat but lot of salt and late. At least this time I will know WHY my weight will be up in the morning and none of it was bad! LOL

Weigh in 146.0 which I'm fine with since I'm eating wheat and or multigrain three times a day.
Had brown rice with bulgar wheat and pecans yesterday with grilled jerk mahi, so good. Never had that so hubby whipped it up for me and I'm having the brown rice and west with broccoli for lunch.

Good morning all! I had a great day yesterday, and enjoyed the pizza again (it reheated in the microwave well).

182.5 this morning so 1.5 below LIW, which is so weird, and unexpected.

B: black coffee with splenda drops
L: salad with feta, boiled egg, oil/red wine vinegar, grape tomatoes
D: deep dish pizza with bacon/sausage/pepperoni/Italian cheese
with a mug cake and 4 T of sf PB with Walden's caramel sauce

Still no real visit from Bernice so I feel bloaty this morning and totally didn't expect to lose 1.5 pounds.

Something else weird is I am really enjoying my coffee without cream. It's like it doesn't make a difference, unless I have it like cafe au lait and very creamy, so why waste the calories? I was alternating cream days with no cream and just started having no cream. Probably because it is flavored coffee (yeah strawberry shortcake Dunkin Donuts).

So glad to see how well my peeps are stabilizing and hanging in there! Sunny do you want to try another round with me starting March 31st? My friend is getting married that day, and I WANT CAKE!

Morning! Well I got on the scale this morning and am at 192 which is my 2lb above LDW. So, I'm still within my range! At the tip end of it but I guessssss that's not bad for what all I did! Thinking about making pizza tonight!

Thanks for the reminder Jeanette about pizza! I have 2 zucchini I need to use! I used the recipe that was on here. It seemed to burn on the ends for me after I put on toppings and back into oven. Can you tell me your tweaks?

Sunny - Woot for you have a warm & cozy office! Sounds lovely! I work in a cubicle and there's nothing cozy about it! The lights are so bright in the office! What's that coconut bar you mentioned? Sounds like something I'd like to try! My co-worker bought the chocolates advertisted on netrtiion at the top of this page sometimes. They were really good but expensive but worth it! I would like to get some!

Did my steak/apple day yesterday, and came back down into my window. Gonna eat carefully today, watch my sodium, and wait to add carbmaster yogurt and almonds back in. I only have .8 lb of wiggle room!

I STS today, and am ok w. that. Today is VLCD21. Could/should be my LDW, but I think I am going to lower my goal and go a little longer. Not sure how much longer. I think the egg/egg white dinner really helps me lose. I'm having it again tonight to continue experimenting. If I drop again tomorrow, I may make it a daily addition .

Yesterday was day 1 of vlcd for me - whew - i did not think i would make it but i did ! I am hoping things get easier. So when i got home from work i was in a tizzy about dinner - i ended up having chicken breast and some cabbage. I have to start cooking ahead of time and freezing portions i think. I dont know why it took me 2 hours to make a chicken breast and boil some cabbage, and weighing the food on the scale was a new expereince for me. I managed to drink 2 liters of water and i hate it to boot. And all the bottles of face stuff in the bathroom - i don't know what has oil or not and not sure if the beauty regimen is a big deal...cleanser, toner, serum, night cream.... I do have a concern about my face getting more wrinkled and jowls with the quick loss- i will be 60 in May, ugh.

Good morning, everyone! Strangely, I stayed the same this morning, kinda weird, so maybe I'm "stable" even with being too high - if so, I will just wait out my time to start a new round pretty soon and quit trying to get it back down. Frustrating, but at least I lost in my round 6 everything I had gained with hormonal troubles. I am still at my 100# loss but not a pinch of wiggle on that one LOL.....

I woke up with a big big headache and am enjoying my coffee in the dark. Depends how I end up feeling today but I might do a GY correction day and see if I can get a little wiggle room. If not, or if my body cries out for some chicken legs or steak then I will take that route.

Yellowhair, WELCOME! I am 50 and with losing all the weight I have so far I certainly know the concern about sagging ! My face looks alot different now but at least the hanging skin (not much, really) is only skin now and not hanging fat! It will draw up quite a bit, you'll be amazed! You could try a little msm by granules in coffee in the morning or supplements, some swear by it for skin tightening. I never used it for that, I used it for pain, so I don't know that I would've noticed one way or the other but really my skin all except my lower tummy and my thighs look pretty good.

Marie I am So happy you stayed and held steady!!!!!!

I thought I'd be upset because I am at 146 but I'm eating lots of complex carbs and some sugars so I said "Self, shut the heck up and be happy"

And so I am lol...

Jeanette, I might join you, not sure...I honestly just want to get to 138...I don't want to lose more, I look really good and the thought of having my size 8/10's too big on me after buying such cute clothes (and a lot of them!) from Ann Taylor makes me want to cry! So I figure at 138...140 as my 2 pound over weight, I would be ok.
So I don't know if I should do a round to just lose 10? I'll have to think about it....I'll revisit it after my Key West Trip March 18th!!!! It's just us girls on vacay YAYYY!!!!

I'm sooo enjoying p3, still! I don't even really WANT to go to p4. I could happily (or so I say now) do another 3 weeks of this and then go back to p2. but I'll work in some carby stuff, just to make sure I can still handle it. I'm still in my range. amazing!

I'm having strawberry issues...they are SO delicious to me right now. I'd inhale an entire container if I let myself. a big container. hah!

also, I got a little thing of just like sugar, and am not impressed. it tastes like luo han, which I'm not a fan of. world's trashiest sweetener: lindsay luo han. HEYOOOOO!

did I mention I'm not sleeping well? I think that joke shows it. hahaha!!!

Down .2 this am, which is only .6 lb above my LIW, so I can breathe a bit easier. Gonna be careful and wait to add in almonds and yogurt til next week. If you want a good calorie record, use fitness tracker. I love it!

I stared a my elliptical yesterday, lol...I need to use it. At least for 30 min. So today I'm going to TRY and last 20 min. That thing is a beast lol!

Woke up late today, le'sigh....Wednesdays always kick my behind. I suppose that's why they call it hump day.

Morning Peeps! Happy HUMP Day!

P4 Day 16 and at 191.5 so still in my window! WOOT!

Last night we ended up getting some BBQ. We got a combo thing that came w/ brisket, 1/2 chicken and pulled pork. It was good even though it was Sonny's bbq. We typically like Shanes, Freds or Fresh Air but those were all too far to drive. I had about 2 T of the bbq beans which are my favorite thing there. I didn't eat any of the garlic toast! I had a caesar side salad to go w/ it.

B - 2 scrambled eggs w/ 1 big sausge patty chopped over w/ a little gravy on top, sweet n spicy hot tea
L - will either grab a cobb salad or something at the cafe here at work
D - either homemade lc pizza or chicken fajitas w/ guac

Good morning all! I have been so super busy, working 12 hour days so I haven't had time for personals! Sorry! I'm so proud of you all!



Got a lot to do today. Last night I made steak fajitas from chuck roast. I cut it into really thin strips, and cooked it with cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika (YUM) and lime juice. It was the best ever! I never thought of using the chuck roast to do that!

Weigh in this morning 181. 5, which I find shocking! I'm eating! I'm going to increase calories a bit today!

Yesterday:
B: black coffee with liquid splenda
L: huge salad with feta, oil/vinegar, grape tomatoes, cucumbers AND a piece of pizza with oil sauteed veggies and Romano cheese
D: two big servings of fajitas with sour cream and cheese

Natasha the pizza doesn't have cauliflower, it's the chicken cheese one from Your Lighter Side (Deep Dish Pizza recipe). I will never go back to the zuch or cauli pizza again!

Gotta run ya'll so I hope you're all stabilizing or losing as needed.

Marie-stable it stable beats a gain

Yellow-I take calc/mag, potassium, iron, multi, acidoph., and biotin every day. Feel great this round .

I'm going day by day now. VLCD 22 today and down to 150.2. This is addictive! I really hope the scale keeps going down. I'd like to drop a few more lbs then move on to P3. Can't wait!!

Its day 3 of vlcd for me and i feel better ! I don't even know whats involved with p3 and p4 but right now but i feel i have to concentrate on p2. Days 1 and 2 were not easy and i felt so sick. I went to bed early - tv not the same without my treats ! You are all doing so well - keep it up. I have lost 3 pounds since i loaded. I ordered a foreman grill and it should arrive today - i figured it would help me with the diet. I hope i can figure it out as i am not a cook

Hey mellow yellow! You can do this!!!! If it helps P2 Chili is what a lot of us survived on, very filling!!!! Congrats on the 3 pounds!!!!! Very exciting

The foreman grill is super easy to use, my mom has one and I used it once on P2 with 94% lean beef and I also made buffalo burgers on it as well.

So ladies, after eating Macadamia nuts on both P3's and P4's I have found they make my stomach hurt BAD!!!! Any ideas? I am so saddened by this, mac nuts are miracle nuts and my favorite. Almonds cause me to choke LOL, anyhow thought I'd share, I had them three times since starting my P4 and each time I get an upset stomach, and have to run to the bathroom

I too have been super busy and haven't have time to recoop and join my favorite gang!

Update - still in P3 - I could have moved on Saturday (day 21) but decided to push one more week and will begin P4 on Friday. I have to admit my hesitation is because I have stabilized and just don't want to mess things up!

I did get my water gain from my out of town trip back down. Have been weighing in at 144.2 (.2 below LDW). I am eating around 2000 cals a day!!!!

I make a batch of the peanut butter fudge protein squares every week and have been enjoying them with no adverse effects!

I eat my GY/Blueberries/Walnuts almost every day too!

I love that I am not gaining.

Friday - will be my test. I really want Mexican (chips/salsa) and something fun Not sure what that will be. I am such an all or nothing girl so introducing anything kind of freaks me out!

So glad everyone is doing well!

Ok so I took a Benadryl and the pain is subsiding. Come to find out I was allergic to tree nuts as a kid

So no more nuts for me

It will be hard for me to move on to phase 4, too. I'm really enjoying phase 3, but I guess everyone does after VLC!!! It is only my first week of phase 3 (1 full week on Fri.), so I'm still in the process of stabilizing, but I do love almonds. I just have to be very strict about weighing them and only have one serving! I've had 1 CD already, but I think it was because of sodium, so I'm trying to limit that!

my quads are D E A D after yoga on monday night. I haven't had such sore muscles in YEARS. I'm thisclose to taking advil! I hope that's not making me retain.

sunny, I like carbs, but given my background and blood type, I shouldn't eat them. or at least keep them to an absolute minimum. so I'll have to live vicariously through you! have you thought about lasering the nuts?

Lasting nuts....uh....well....we'll see lol

I did sleep like sleeping beauty due to the Benadryl, 8.5 hours so that was good lol! I ended up being able to eat after I took the Benadryl, it was crazy, within half an hour the stomach pain, nausea, and bathroom runs stopped! So I had chicken wings hubby made with guacamole and these new chips I got from whole foods, no GMO, ingredients include corn, quinoa, flax seeds, broccoli seeds, and some other seed...really tasty and organic

Lunch today is leftover wings and cornbread.

Hubby had been waking up to make me breakfast for the last week and a half (yay!) so I get a nice hot brekky, I think he's making grilled steak with fried egg on top of whole wheat toast, yum!! I'm typing as fast as I can lol

Hey Hey! Still at 191.5 and I had a CFA sandwich yesterday w/ a big side salad then pizza for dinner.

Sunny - That sucks about the nuts! I am out of almonds and am thinking of splurging this weekend and buying both almonds and mac nuts. So sorry for your loss. Brekky sounds deliciouso!

Jeantte - I'll look for that pizza recipe! I'm willing to try anything to get my hands on pizza!
