I'm telling you girls...keep checking. There's this site...world wide <the thing we were talking about>...good deals...but look for it locally. I swear, you will never go back. In fact, I might need to go break some out...RIGHT NOW... Swear to god, if I am going to gain up to my LDW from LAST round, it might as well be for a good darn reason! I mean, seriously--gaining on brussels sprouts--what fun is that?

OMY ever-lovin' &^%%$ WHAT A DAY!!!!

It is literally AMAZING I did not immediately RUN to the food. I can't even begin to tell you. I have NEVER had a day as stressful as today. EVER.

My weight was right back up to the highest it's been this P3 after a light day after an egg CD. Don't know why. No reason I can think of. I'm not overeating.
I went to a new physical therapy appt/assessment today. Hurt. And then onto work which was one of the worst work days I have ever had in my LIFE and that's saying something.

2 hb eggs for breakfast
I had Carl's Jr. mushroom portabello "low carb" lettuce wrap style
I had an Arby's chopped ranch-style salad with bacon, greens, cheese, and roasted chicken no dressing
and tonight instead of eating everything in sight I am behaving myself with GY with Hershey's cocoa powder and stevia/vanilla.

You all should be so proud of me. I mean it!!!! What a nightmare today!!!!! I should be face-down in REAL chocolate with NUTS and WHIPPED CREAM!!!!

marie, sorry your day was brutal! and I hope those pesky lbs stay off!

I'm thinking I may need one more day to get the water retention down. ye gads...this isn't good! TOM is still visiting though too.

Yikes! Up 1.1 after my first day of round 3 yesterday!!!!! Is this normal? I really hope I don't have to do a correction day tomorrow, already! Do you think it was wrong of me to add almonds and Carbmaster yogurt in so soon?

I need to venture into Brussels, just not brave enough lol....

I had wheat penne and roasted chicken for dinner...so yea lots of carbs yesterday (two pieces of toast, sandwich with two pieces of bread, and pasta) BUT my weight is holding steady at 145.4
The whole grains are helping my tummy SO much, better than the GY was and I am regular now.
I do wake up starving though since adding carbs...weird?! Like right now I could eat my arm lol...waiting for hubby to make breakfast. Whole wheat pancakes with real maple syrup. I'm sure that will send me into a CD tomorrow LOL...but I really want it! And I never tried it last round so here we go!

So the gig is tonight, I am nervous! But hubby keeps telling me to just look to the left (he will be to my left) so at least he is up there with me!

I'm sorry that happened! I can't imagine because most of the time when I have a gain I know why! Sometimes Shelby has said you can eat too little, maybe that's what happened....Sending hugs and prayers. Hope you feel better. My friend is a PT and she said the standing joke is that it stands for PAIN AND TORTURE! YIKES-A-RAMA!

Gonna keep looking....sounds like a winner! I had a sf mug cake with caramel sauce and sf PB mixed together. I carefully measured out one portion of the PB this time (I can eat half a jar)...

I did that too my first P3 round and I had to do a CD on Day 5. This time I tried to stay away from nuts, yellow cheeses, "sweets", etc. until a few weeks had passed. My first P3 round I had like 5 CDs. This round only one so far, and I've tried to eat pretty healthy, with little processed foods. I've eaten eggs, chicken breast, ground turkey, salad, fresh veggies and berries, avocados, olive and coconut oil, feta and bleu cheese, and oil/vinegar for dressings. I've tried to make my own seasonings, dressings, and other stuff just to be on the safe side. Hang in there, and see how today goes. Another reminder is to drink your water. For some reason in P3 I have a much harder time drinking water.

Sunny, rock it tonight girl! So excited for you! Menu sounds fabulous! It is amazing what carbs do to hunger. Most of all have fun!


I weighed in at 184 this morning so exactly LIW. Yeah! I wasn't sure because I had a lot of calories yesterday (1900+). I made the breadsticks from yourlighterside's website, and OMgoodness, they were fantastic! I think hubby ate 4 and I ate like 10! They were so good. I'm trying for the deep dish pizza recipe tonight!

B: black coffee with splenda drops (I'm trying to keep my taste buds used to the black coffee for the next round, so every other day will be without HWC)
L: Cheri's Southwest Soup (did I say how much I love this stuff?)
D: Deep Dish Pizza, salad and diet root beer!

Hi girls!! I guess I could be posting over here since I'm pretty close to protocol (occasional veggie mixing is my only rogue habit this round). Most of you seem to be in P3 though, and a girl can only handle so much temptation I'm heading in to the end of round 4 and am considering eggs. I haven't had any eggs in this, or any previous rounds. How many of you guys lost well while eating eggs on the VLC portion?

Marie! Sounds like you did great despite your horrible day!! I think stress plays a big role in weight gain and loss, so if you're hanging in there while under this stress you're ahead of the game!

Shelby-I'm so sorry you're having a hard time this P3! You're usually at , or below LDW!! I've always admired your ability to stabilize, while exercising faithfully!! to you!! have you done something differently this round? Maybe restaurants or something? And I will look for that chocolate. I real good chocolate. Wonder if Sprouts carries it? Hmm, I'll look around.

everyone else!! Keep working your plan!! The weekend is the hardest time!!

First off, C'Marie - big giant HUGS to you my dear! And a serious high five for keeping it clean. I swear to pete, girlfriend, what in the HE77 is going ON this round, eh??? I hope today is a better day for you although I know from personal experience that usually the day AFTER PT is worse...

Star, Sunny, and Jeanette - I love to roast brussels sprouts. Oven to 375. Cut the sprouts in half and heat in microwave for 2 mins. Toss with lots of olive oil OR as star suggests bacon bits and bacon grease ans s&p. Put in a foil lined pan in a single layer. The more space around them the crispier they will be. Roast for 30 mins or so until they are soft and the skin is slightly brown and crispy. MMMMMmmmmm...

Sunny - good luck tonight! I'm sure you will be great!

ldrof - It's totally normal for you to gain a bit at the beginning of P3. Your insides are "empty" and they are filling back up again. Just keep an eye in it and do a cd if you are over 2 pounds above LDW. Most people wait a bit to add nuts and dairy because a lot of people can be sensitive to them.

Hey Julie! This is a mixed P2/3/4 thread so all are welcome here although there IS a ton of food talk! I've eaten eggs once or twice on plan but more because they were easy than anything else. If you are mixing veggies, I made a "deviled" egg concoction for my bf the other day with salsa, mustard, green onions, and a little WF dressing. Pretty tasty, or so he said. Yeah, I am usually at or below LDW. No difference in how I did this round protocol except I used up a few green onions in my salads the first week. I did use pellets only but didn't have any hunger or anything (although I did have munchie type cravings the last week or so) so I don't THINK it was that. I didn't eat out at ALL in P3. I ate out last weekend because I was traveling and am sitting (still) ~4 pounds up from last Saturday morning. Which was already ~4 pounds up from LDW. I adjusted it but it keeps climbing so I am almost 7 pounds outside my window and almost 10 up from my lowest. It's not the exercise. I haven't done anything new or different or even particularly strenuous. C'Marie is going through the same thing. I AM under a lot of stress but that isn't anything new or different either. I really have tried everything. It's pretty darn demoralizing at this point and does make me realize that I haven't conquered the eating out of stress demons. Because if I am going to be THIS damn good and keep gaining weight, I might as well eat fro-yo! I am really leaning toward another quick round. I ordered some rx yesterday so I'll be going that route this time around and really hoping to just stick the low 140's. Nice to see your face!

@Julie, I had eggs quite a bit on protocol, and I stick to the one whole egg PLUS 3 egg whites, except on rare occasion when I would have 2 whole eggs instead and then cut something else that day - I usually did just fine with it, actually think sometimes it helped me lose or break a stall but of course that's not scientific at all LOL.....

It's good to "see" you! I'm having a BIG struggle this round but I am not giving up. I haven't had anything bad at all, all acceptable P3 foods and I have only felt like I overate a couple of times. I could be sensitive to something, obviously nuts and dairy are prime suspicious ones, but with my days right now I can just hold on and do what I can do.

I'm at the same weight as yesterday even with the PT swelling and the horrible awful day, next to no sleep, headache, etc.... which I consider pretty amazing. And I'm indeed proud of myself for sticking to my P3 protocol even when the day slid into the abyss LOL....

hello fellow losers!! I've got two days left on vlcd and it's on to p3 (well after my dang 72 hours lol) I'm re-reading all my p3 stuff, lasering some foods, making a grocery list and checking it twice I'm not really ready to get off p2 mentally but I'm almost out of injections so here i come!

Well, I'm .2 lb away from doing a correction day after only 2 days of phase 3 I'm telling you, it is SO..... hard to eat up to my bmr, especially when you are supposed to replace the exercise calories, too! I'm not going to do a correction day until I go over, but I'm hoping I don't have to.

And Heather you'll be there soon! I found this P3 I didn't over think what I ate, just made sure to keep the fat up and I ate three meals a day with two snacks. I ate until I was full though, last round I ate like a crazy woman lol...I averaged around 1700-2000 calories a day. After week one I stopped counting calories.

I'm at 145.0 today I even had French fries last night at the gig and several shots of sour pucker an lord knows what lol. I had a blast, two biker guys came by and complimented me, they were like wow such a tiny thing sounding like Janis Joplin...lol....I was more glowing that they called me tiny

Had wheat penne chicken Mac and cheese for dinner yesterday, it was so good! Hubby added scallions to it and it made it delish!

Dreading tomorrow, hopin for a good work week.

Silly question, but I couldn't find fresh brussell sprouts, is frozen okay?

I love P3, I'm almost in week 3, then moving on to P4....now THAT makes me nervous! Looking forward to trying some oat flour in bake mix recipe I got.

I would say don't freak out, but I know you are! I do the EXACT same thing. Just prep for a CD, and be ready, but LIVE YOUR LIFE! Your body is just adjusting. Increase your calories and healthy fats, and make sure you're getting in your water.

I made the Deep Dish Pizza and it was like the best pizza I've had in FOREVER!



Made the crust according to directions, except I left out the salt. I also used Monterey Jack instead of Mozzarella.

I sauteed onion, green pepper, black olive, grape tomatoes in olive oil spray, and I left off pizza sauce because I'm in P3 and it has some sugar). I topped it with Romano Cheese. It was EXCELLENT! I ate half of the 10 inch pizza. It had a crispness to it that the cauli pizza is lacking.

I weighed in at 184.5 this morning, so YEAH!

Jeanette I make my own pizza sauce with San marzano crushed tomatoes and tomato paste. They have like 2 grams of sugar but it's from the tomatoes themselves, it's not added as the ingredients is only tomatoes and water. I make a batch beforehand, add oregano, crushed garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, a bit of olive oil and I let it cook for an hour. Then after it cools I put it into zip lock baggies (enough to cover a pizza) and freeze it. When I go to make a pizza, I just let it defrost in a bowl of water, reheat in a small pan and add to the pizza.

@Jeanette - I don't think frozen brussels sprouts would work as they are already cooked, I think?

I have been eating my way through the day. Really not good. All P3 foods but still - much more food and I woke up hungry and with a headache. I am ending the night with a shot of tequila and lemonade with stevia. I will deal with the fallout in the morning!

I think hunger and headache started from drinking diet dr. pepper! That's the only newish thing I had in the last few days! Does that sound crazy?

I'm definitely stealing this recipe! YUM! It was really good without, but I bet better with, and the meat would stay on better. LOL! Thanks so much!

Diet soda does that to me as well as Zero Vitamin water (it's so sweet it sends my taste buds reeling! Here's hoping for you! Sometimes shaking it up helps!

Weigh in at 184.0 this a.m. I had to take something to help Bernice along so I was surprised at this weight this morning because I feel FAT! But it's just bloating I guess. I had a spectacular day yesterday. I made the pizza again, only this time I made a meat lovers, and it was THE BEST! It had bacon, pepperoni and sausage! I made one for my friend who's doing low carb and she was THRILLED! She has knee surgery today so I wanted her to eat well yesterday!

Well, it's a correction day for me today ! I really should have done one yesterday, but I read my scale wrong. I know in pounds and inches it says you MUST do it on the day the scale registers 2 lbs over, so do you think that it's really gonna mess me up to do it a day later? It's very frustrating since I've been so good and really ramped up my exercise. I haven't had a visit from bernice in a while! PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Morning Ladies! Day 14 of P4 for me and I was too scared to get on the scale! I was gone from Friday afternoon til Sunday evening! My Mom's 55th birthday party and I endulged ALL weekend! BAD! Friday I did good while at home but after my lunch of a tuna sub on ww from Subway I had a dang chocolate cookie. Then later during the day I had 1/2 slice of pizza and sour cream & onion chips. Saturday I made all the stuff for the party. I had sunchips, some crackers, 2 crescent roll up things along w/ birthday cake, butterfinger pie AND mango margaritas plus the other LC food I made aka spinach dip & stuffed mushrooms! It was an all out carb fest. Then Sunday I didn't do as bad but still had more stuff - cake, chips, cookies. Last night I had a big salad for dinner. I have a feeling I'm up but I'm going to dust myself off and make it a CLEAN P3 KIND OF WEEK!! That's all I can do! I may weigh tomorrow or Wed! If by then I'm over LDW I might do a modified protein day.

Anyway looks like everyone had a good weekend. I have tried frozen brussel sprouts before but they always seem bitter to me. If they weren't so bitter I would eat them all the time esp w/ the BACON!!!

Don't stress sweetie! Do your CD today, then alternate with clean P3 until you are back in your window. You can do it! I know it's so frustrating!!!

Thanks! I talked to my doctor's office and she said to do a steak day until I get back into the window! I think I need to watch my sodium, too. I've had a couple days where its over 4,000 mg. What is the normal sodium?

Because if I am going to be THIS damn good and keep gaining weight, I might as well eat fro-yo! I am really leaning toward another quick round. I ordered some rx yesterday so I'll be going that route this time around and really hoping to just stick the low 140's. Nice to see your face!
I'm so sorry this P3 is stinking so bad for you!! Your P2 went pretty well and you got so low on the scale!! I was so happy for you!! I can't figure out why it's not sticking better for you!!! It's so unfair!! And I'm a big fro-yo girl I did the NSA (stevia sweetenend) froyo on my past P3's and P4 and it never hurt me. Just a thought Our bodies really have a mind of their own. Have you adjusted your thyroid/adrenal meds at all? Maybe there's something going on there?

I'm sure once your insides are reaquainted with food your weight will settle down. Like Shelby said, you've been totally empty for 3+ weeks. your intestines need to get adjusted to all the new food you're eating. Your CD today will help get you some wiggle room. And on the day after ?, we've all done it. Sure, it's not ideal, but life happens and sometimes it's impossible ot do a CD. I think the exercise could be causing water retention too, so don't be too hard on yourself. Which CD are you doing today?

Today is day VLC20. I'm thinking about adding 1 more dosing day and then doing my 2 VLC days w/o hcg Thurs and Fri, and start P3 on Sat. One more day won't kill me and I would like a little more loss since it's still going pretty well.

I'm down 1.2 overnight on day 20! I can't believe I had that nice a drop this far into it, and w. TOM!! I may actually see 150 this round, or dare I dream, 149? Oh, that would get me back to my all time low of 149.6 which I hit one day last year, but couldn't make stick. I am really happy with this round.

I am getting a bit nervous about P3 though. I've had my issues w/ P3 in the past, and ended up in a JUDDD like pattern w/ CD's almost every other day one round. I guess at this point, eating so little, even JUDDD looks good to me!! I really do want this to be my last round. And from what I'm reading about the shipping of hcg, I may not have much choice. We'll see. One day at a time!! Each day has enough trouble of it's own!!

Can i substitute egg whites or a protein shake for a serving of protein ? I am at work now and starving. I forgot my protein and its only day 3 of P2 but these items are at work.

I pack an emergency kit during P2. An apple, an orange and a breadstick along with stevia packs and crystal light packs. It has helped on more than 1 occasion!! Good luck! The first two days of low calorie are the hardest for me.

Some people do protein shakes. Depends on what plan you're following? and what's in the protein powder. It's not on the simeon's protocol, but some Dr's and I think OWL allow it. Can you just scramble some egg whites and make it through? you can increase your evening protein a bit to compensate for the lack of whole egg at lunch? Good luck!
