Hello all,

This one seems as a great thread and I have few questions...

Feb 14 will be my first p3 day, but since couple of days ago I'm feeling weird, I'm hungry a bit more sleepy than usual... is my mind playing a trick or is this normal?

Another thing, is acorn squash ok during p3? In other websites I've found appears as fine during p3, but I check the nutritional facts and has like 21 gr carbs... so I don't understand, Is it only starch that matters not just carbs?

Well, tomorrow will be my last dose, but oh gosh I NEED LOTION!!!

Have a great weekend!

On the feeling weird--how long has your round been? In my longer rounds, I kinda hit a wall in the last days, so I don't think it's abnormal. If you're just doing a short round, you're pretty close to the end. You might try taking a good B100 and/or some B12 for energy.

I would say no on the acorn squash. It's a winter squash and those are best left for P4. You shouldn't be counting carbs per se in P3 but most people keep an eye on them and make sure their ratios are >50% fat, and >20% protein with the rest in fruit, veg and dairy carbs.

CHEEEEEEEEESE!!!!!!! Had a hunk of sharp cheddar with some vino just now

Yum!!!!!!

So today I had eggs with ham at the breakfast. It was a service style breakfast, tons of potatoes and stuffed tomatoes with a nice crispy breadcrumb crust, but alas...all I could have was the eggs

I drank a crap load of coffee though LOL

I had a great day! For dinner I had Rosemary Flounder, and steamed cabbage. It was really good. So no cheating!

I found GY that was NOT fat free!!! I am So happy! It is Cabot brand, it says 10% milkfat...22 grams of fat per serving, 290 cals. Not sure how it compares to the other brands but I'll take it!! I found it at Schnucks, I know the regional supermarkets are all different but if anyone has a Schnucks they have avocadoes 10/10, and their brand sucralose for 3.99/for 5 lb. bag....jackpot tonight!!

Awesome! Yay!!!!! The cabot GY is tart, so if you like a bite in your GY then you'll like it. It's incredibly creamy and silky. I found it too tart for my liking, but I lean towards sweet stuff. My hubby on the other hand likes it more than Voskos and Fage

I REALLY want something sweet, ugh...made hot chocolate, but only had a bit since it was so rich...should have added some water to it...

Now just sitting here fantasizing about a donut LOL

I haven't tried it yet, I had to refrain myself from opening it in the car, lol! I always eat mine with berries and sweetener or almond butter, so maybe the tartness will dissipate then...
Do you do peanut butter on p3? I always have (well, the 2 times I have done p3)...I just made a really good peanut butter mousse - 2 tbsp sour cream, 1 tbsp peanut butter, and sweetener to taste. Mix it all up, it was SO good! I think it would really cure your sweet tooth!

Well I ate 7 hot wings and 2 square slices of my pizza I made. No wine guess I'll skip it tonight and have it tomorrow night. DH is in the kitchen w/ some neighbor young guys giving them the grown man talk so I cannot really get into my relax mode! I still haven't had my strawberries yet.

Really wondering about the scale tomorrow...It just keeps going UP UP this round! I have NO wiggle room at this point. Prayers please! Night ladies!

I just finished my 3rd day without hcg - (shots so 72 hrs) and had strawberries and cottage cheese for dinner with stevia and tea. Yummy. I did have an extra serving of protein today, just hungry. Still P2 foods. I will expand a little bit tomorrow and Sunday but I really need to keep myself in check and not run out and try every cool new recipe no matter how great they look! I canNOT gain back any of this weight I just fought so dang hard to lose!!!

(remind me of this speech when I weaken, k?)

so you ARE supposed to get your calories to maintenance level ASAP after the hcg has left your body, right? or did I read/remember that wrong? it took me a few days last round. this time, it's NO PROBLEM to get my calories almost too high. which is unnerving.

Miami, the coffee is great for a dessert like treat!

I actually buy yaucono, my aunt ships it from PR..otherwise I use Pilon.

But with my lovely Keurig I just get K cups lately

Stabilizing in amazing ways ladies! 145.6 and I'm eating cheese, wine, dairy (yes even fat free milk) with no issues. Trying white wine tonight (hoping no issues) I have a recipe for brazilian coconut chicken that I might try tonight, but we still have leftover chili from yesterday, hubby makes it so good, his secret is cinnamon and cocoa powder, cumin, and cayenne OMG so yumz! I miss beans in the chili, but that's ok. I used my GY instead of sour cream since the voskos is so thick, worked perfectly.

Hope you all have an awesome day! Jeanette hang in there!

Steak and fried eggs for breakfast!!!!!!

Good morning girls! I had my last injection today, and my weight was 184.0! That's 14 pounds this round, and I'll take it and run with it! Considering I started LOW CAL January 5th, and had about 4 days of cheating, I'm good with 14 pounds in less than 6 weeks. Next round I swear I will not cheat at all (no HWC!), and it will be 23 days!

I kept saying I could eat P3 on Valentine's, but actually that's my transition day. So I can't have wings. It's okay, I'll wait until the weekend.

Here's hoping you all are doing well! Big cyber hugs!

I love Cleo's pizza! Here's a picture of my personal pizza I made with roasted peppers. It was delicious!

Cleo's Recipe: You Won't Believe it's Cauliflower Pizza Crust

1 cup cooked, riced cauliflower*
1 egg
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1/2 tsp fennel
1 tsp oregano
2 tsp parsley
**pizza or alfredo sauce

toppings (make sure meats are cooked)
mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 450 degrees Farenheit.

Spray a cookie sheet with non-stick spray.

In a medium bowl, combine cauliflower, egg and mozzarella. Press evenly on the pan. Sprinkle evenly with fennel, oregano and parsley.

Bake at 450 degrees for 12-15 minutes (15-20 minutes if you double the recipe).

Remove the pan from the oven. To the crust, add sauce, then toppings and cheese.

Place under a broiler (grill for the Europeans) at high heat just until cheese is melted **.

Notes:

*I use frozen cauliflower prepared according to package directions. After cooked and slightly cooled, I shred cauliflower with a cheese grater, and then measure for the recipe. (Don’t pack down the cup with cauliflower. Just fill it with a spoon or the cup itself.)

** The pizza sauce I use is Great Value Pizza sauce from Wal-Mart. At only 3 net carbs per quarter cup, you get a lot of punch for little carbohydrate pow.

*** You can try re-baking the pizza at 450 once you add toppings if desired, but the crust is not quite as crusty. There is a minimal difference, so see what works best for you.

I got this from Your Lighter Side website.

Today is day 40 (Last drop day this round!), I was taking a B12 sublingual supplement, but every time I took it, next day I stalled or slightly gain so I just quit. I'm actually not taking any multivitamin as the one I bought and only found contain cellulose... and in some place I read that any word ending in ose means sugar.....

This round I lost 22 pounds, not as much as I thought, but I'm happy I'm 22 pound lighter and I like it!

This is the first year in my life that I'm absolutely anxious for day to come!

Oh P3land I'm so ready for you to come!

I agree with Jeannette on the cauli pizza - SO GOOD! Little anecdote: I told my BF I was making cauliflower pizza, so when I served it, he was chowing down on it, and asked, "So what makes this cauliflower pizza?" He had no clue the crust was cauliflower. It doesn't reheat in the microwave well, it gets soggy but a few minutes back in the oven might crispen it up a bit.

When I make this, I double the recipe and put parchment paper in a half-sheet cake pan (12 x 18) using parchment paper. You must use parchment paper!!!!

I bake and cut into 8 slices and freeze. By cutting into 8 slices, each pizza makes a half serving, but I usually have two pieces so it's really the same. I like have a big batch frozen so I can just thaw and crisp up in the oven.

Oy. Another HUGE fluctuation today--DOWN the 4 pounds from yesterday. I think I need to go work out, meditate on this business for a while, and see what I can get to in my own head. I may or may not be in P2 and I may or may not be in P3 by the end of the day. As always, cheering you guys on from the sidelines (whichever team I'm on!)...

Yay for you Shelby!!! Woo Hoo to Jeanette & ThinLizy! Welcome to P3 you two!

I astonishingly weighed in UNDER LDW @ 189.5 this morning! WOOT! YIPPEE DOODLES! YIPPEE SKIPPY! I didn't have any wine last night so def having a small glass tonight!

B - Big Azz Omelete w/ ham, sausage, onions, peppers, cheese, sour crm & salsa, sf mocha capp
L - leftover hot wings, celery w/ blue cheese
D - pan fried tilapia & sauteed cabbage

Our neighbor works at papa johns and is bringing DH a pizza shortly. He did some yard work for her so she's paying him that way! LOL

I liked the cheese pizza crust I made first it held up really good but of course had tons more fat and calories than the zucchini crust I made this week. Thinking I'll stick w/ the zucchini crust but thinking about adding a little cream cheese to it.

Have a great day ladies! It's terribly cold and windy here today. We've got to run out and get groceries and going to sears for some pillows and an air pump.

Awww! I know what you mean....

I was a good girl again today. I made a chicken chili of sorts for dinner, and it turned out really good:

1 can diced tomatoes in juice
100 g grilled chicken shredded
seasoning: cumin, chili lime seasoning, cocoa powder, onion and garlic

It had a little kick, but it was very tasty.

Wonder what weigh in tomorrow will look like. I will post in the morning. Good night ya'll!

Sunny - Yesterday I ate:

B - 2oz tbone steak & 2 scrambled eggs w/ cheese sf mocha capp (no hwc)
L - 1 johnsonville chicken chipotle sausage & 1/2 c sauteed cabbage/onions
D - 7 hot wings w/ celery & blue cheese, 2 small square slices of my zucchini crust pizza
S - big gala apple & a few pepperoni slices
Nothing else besides gum and some crystal light fruit punch!

Ready for my glass of wine but all it's going to do is make me sleepy so I may or may not have it today. I had 2 small slices of the pizza today. It was thin crust so hopefully it won't kill me!

GUESS WHAT!?! I GOT COCONUT FLOUR!! DH and I went to Whole Foods in downtown ATL - this is the closest one to us. We had to see where the courthouse is b/c he has jury duty next week and I'm going to drop him off on my way to work. Anyway, it's not bobs red mill but another brand in a pouch type bag. I can't wait to make that cake recipe I found similar to mug cake. ALSO got a carton of coconut milk it only has 1g carb per serving. I plan on making a strawberry smoothie with it! I got a ghiradeli 100% chocoalate bar to use over the cake it was on sale. DH got a plate off the hot bar and OMG it was 18.95! He got spicy greens, squash & some sort of goat meat. UGH! It was 7.99 a pound and I warned him the plate was already about 3 or 4 pounds! We also got his GB some organic baby food! Off to back track and find that recipe!
