REALLY dry skin

So, after the first week I ditched all my lotions and started using Aquaphor on my hands. But, come to find out I haven't really lost any faster by doing this.

With that being said, my hands are awful!!! I hate this dry skin....I usually coat myself with lotion during the winter and I haven't used any for two weeks other than Aquaphor and it isn't working.

Is there an approved lotion (I need names) that you use that helps?

Thanks in advance

I don't use a lotion, but I do use a baking soda bath soak and it does help. You could try that. Like a small box in bathwater before bed, LOL. A quick rinse and jump out. Then maybe vaseline on hands and feet with socks and mittens while you sleep to seal it in there.

I haven't stopped using my normal beauty products...

Mane & Tail Hoofmaker moisturizer, I get really dry hands because I work outside with horses...and this stuff is the best and it only takes a little bit.

Some people have issues using their regular products, but some don't. I guess the only way to find out is to try, just my opinion and input

I use regular products still also. Check out Cetaphil (unscented, in a tub). I personally LOVE it. I don't think it has any oils in it, but not 100% sure. In round 1 I went oil-free and used Johnson & Johnson's brand.

Lubriderm Sensitive is oil free as is Neutrogena Oil Free. Those are the ones I use.

That is what I do. My kids really think it is quite funny to see my getting my gloves on when I am getting ready for bed though I bought the ones that are aloe infused so they are supposed to be worn for some time. I have the socks/booties too!! Love them!!! I slather the Vaseline on before sliding the gloves on, go to bed and wake up to soft smooth hands.

I used half if what I used on my face since I can't help it with this windy winter weather. Haven't really used anything on my body and yes the last two weeks of my P2, my skin was killing me.

Starting P3 today, is it ok to use regular lotion now? Thinking to buy some oil free body lotion to help.
