Ladies - ToM question here

So, Aunt Flo came for a visit. And I'm ravenous. I'm on hHCG, so I haven't stopped doses. I have just been ticking on as usual.

Does anyone else get hungry during Aunt Flo? Should I do anything? Up my calories, lower them (whimper), add fat, whatever? Should I play with my dose? I've got the hunger headache and the twisting belly and everything. It's real hunger, not just head hunger. And it's fatty meat I want, more than anything else.

A co-worker gets her drops from her DR. He told her to stop taking the drops during her cycle. She did and once it was gone resumed drops and she lost 30 pounds on a 40 day round. I don't think the Protocol says to stop taking them but then again, I didn't read it.

Other than that I don't know what other advice to give. I have recently began consuming more calories/protein wise in R2 b/c my loss was slow and I was very hungry. Maybe the extra protein would help out w/ the hunger issues? Have you tried any herbal teas?

I have this issue, but just on day 1 and 2 of my TOM. I add an additional ounce of protein at each meal OR I have breakfast of 3 egg whites + 1 yolk. I have a piece of lowfat string cheese if I get really starving, too, or an extra serving of vegies. This ups my calorie count to 600 or so, but doesn't have too much effect on my losses.

Right before TOM I tend to be much more hungry, and sometimes the first day or two of it, as well.

I just kept ticking on through it, and raised calories a bit if necessary.

I think some of the prescription varieties have you stop during TOM, but I have read that isn't necessary, particularly with hhcg... but who knows?

Hope it eases up for you!
