How to get rid of my Sweet Cravings during P2

Sweet cravings are common at the beginning of a round.
Hang in there and they will subside.

Save a little raw veggie and fruit from your meals to nibble on when cravings appear for the first couple of days, such as 1/4 of your orange sliced thin with a few celery sticks.

Or a nice cup of hot tea with a little bit of liquid stevia in it. Very nice in the evening.

I no longer have sweet cravings, but I do enjoy black coffee with 2 dropperfuls of Vanilla extract (from netrition) with 4 packets of Truvia, and if I foam up the 1 Tbsp of milk with an Aerolatte and add that, it tastes pretty decent.

I drank a giant, (like 20 ounces) glass of water with lemon juice when I got hungry/craving. Also, chromium piccolinate (sp) helps.

1t unsweetened cocoa powder in a mug. Add hot water, a splash of vanilla and lots of sweetener. Like dark hot chocolate. Also, I love the Yogi Teas--particularly Vanilla Hazelnut, Cocoa Spice, Throat Comfort (also great when you have a sore throat), and Blues Away (a St. Johns Wort tea that is great to help you sleep). Also, read the recipe thread. Lots of desserts in there made with the fruit and melba. A lot of people like the baked apples with cinnamon and sweetener.
