Down .6 today - finally something besides .2!!!!!!
I really expected that and more considering I, um, finally was able to potty last night Or, it could be that I finally got a decent night's sleep! So, I am hoping for bigger losses this week!!! My goal is to be in the 140's by early next week if not sooner! VLCD9 for me and I am holding strong. Had a little hunger last night, not sure why - but I overcame!!! Down 8 total pounds - not counting load weight! |

Hi everyone! I had a restaurant meal on Saturday and ovulation that stalled me and made me retain water, but I've since lost the extra pound or so of that and am at 187.8 today. Here's to more virgin territory tomorrow, after a few days of obnoxious setbacks and stalls
![]() This proves to me I am never going rogue - one meal with calories well within range and decent macronutrient composition, but not fully protocol foods, and I gain a pound, followed by a pound of ovulation weight. Oy! |

Day 8 stayed the same. Stinks! By this time last round I had already lost 14 pounds. I've lost 2.5 but it's not a stall but little losses and a huge gain during loading. Hanging in there.

I'm down a bit, so with 7 days of VLC completed my load and holiday weight is gone. Now onto the last of weight gain from hormonal changes (Finished menopause I think) and then VFT probably right at the end of this round or the beginning of the next one. After week 1, I usually lose 2-3-4 pounds a week. So it may be a slow go but at least it's in the right freakin' direction! Sigh.
My pants are fitting better! Yay! My face is slimming out again! Woo Hoo - gotta think of the big picture. Oh, and the hungries are finally gone.

VLCD2....gained 3.3 lbs while loading. I have a hard time loading - I don't seem to be really hungry when I load but I did load with high fat items. I will spare the details on this thread of what I actually loaded with. I lost 3.5 my first day.....that's a first for me. I don't typically lose that much on my first day. Looking forward to seeing what the rest of the week brings. Good luck to everyone!

Really wondering if this is for me - should I quit?
*sigh* Up .5lbs and .5% body fat.
Completely clean yesterday. Natural Calm with my Sleepytime tea last night (which did an unnatural job on me late last night and early this morning. There's physically NO WAY I shouldn't have measured some sort of (significant) loss.) ![]() I'm depriving myself of so much that I think is good for me (low carb style of eating, fats) and I'm not seeing much for it in return. And I'm feeling some hunger that isn't "head hunger" (I would kill for a piece of bacon - I think my body is MAJORLY craving fat.)I too am having sleep issues despite taking a melatonin (Midnight brand) before bed not to mention the Sleepytime tea. I still woke up at 2:30 tossed/turned, then again at 4a (took another Midnight) and stared at ceiling until 5:30a then dozed til 7a) and this isn't the first night this has happened. I listened to my stomach rumbling and lay there frustrated wondering wth I'm doing, and thinking ok, I should see a loss after all this ... ![]() I don't know guys. Help me believe this is the right path to stay on. ![]() I am tempted to stop taking the pellets, suffer through today and tomorrow on the 500cal plan and then move back to low carb. I got to 140 doing low carb and its entirely possible that I can do it again and not feel so deprived. I'm going to try that 1 egg + 5 egg white thing this morning (God I miss eggs ) as a last resort but I still don't know that I should continue taking pellets today. If I'm not going to see something significant in terms of a whoosh then I need to get back to something that will satisfy me and help me lose this weight. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Load Day 1 AM weigh in: 175/44% Load Day 2 AM weigh in: 173.2/43.5% VLCD1: 176/43.5% VLCD2: 174/44% VLCD3: 172.5/44.5% VLCD4: 172.5/44.5% VLCD5: 171.5/43% VLCD6: 170.5/43.5% VLCD7: 170.5/43.5% VLCD8: 170/42.5% VLCD9: 170.5/43% WTH??? |

Morning Peeps! VLCD10 and down .5 so I'll take it! Have a good day!
Peppermint - In our P2 here we go thread Star mentioned her body did better on a higher fat P2?? I also noticed my P2 Chili I made looked a bit more greasy than not at all so I think I forgot to drain off the fat of my lean ground turkey. It hasn't bothered my loss though. The experts should pop in and weigh in on this subject though. Good luck! Good luck to the rest of you girls today! |

Ok guys. Major milestone for me today. Down a pound and into VIRGIN FAT TERRITORY and a new decade! (149.3)
I suspect I may have a stall coming up because 147 was a setpoint for me for a couple of years so I am crossing my fingers that I blow past it quickly. |

1. How many pellets are you taking and when? Let's try to tweak this. You should NOT be hungry. 2. Have your pellets been around anything electronic like a cell phone or computer? This can deactivate pellets. 3. How are you dosing your pellets? Tapping them into your hand? Putting them in the lid of the bottle? If the pellets touch your hands or the cap your mouth this can deactivate them too. 4. Are you making sure that you are dosing 15 minutes AFTER eating/drinking ANYTHING then waiting 15 minutes before eating/drinking ANYTHING (including water)? 5. Are you using any product with mint, eucalyptus or camphor in them (teas, gum, mints, lip balm, shampoo)? 6. Did you switch out your regular cosmetic products for mineral products? 7. Are you using lotion, gels, or other products that may have oils? On the sleep issues, stop the melatonin and get some 5-HTP. Melatonin can actually reduce sleep in some people. Also, the smooth move, if it worked "too well", that can cause you to retain water. It certainly does for me. We CAN and WILL figure this out. Stay strong. I will check back in in a bit to see if you've answered. ![]() ![]() |

I reweighed myself 3x this morning a few min ago (before I ate) as I realized every other day I've weighed without the thermal shirt I sleep in on:
171/43% 170.5/42% 170.5/42% So the weight doesn't budge, but the body fat % does?? Oy. Just ate the 1 egg + 5 whites which was ok, but what a waste of those precious 5 yolks. Hopefully it will help. Will have the apple and maybe the grissini around lunch and tilapia for dinner. |

VLCD9 for me today and down another 1.2 lbs. That was a nice surprise since I usually lose and then stall for 2-3 days and I had just lost over a pound yesterday. AND that was with eating my HUGE no-cheese-burger salad last night (lettuce, turkey burger cut up, tomatoes, onions, pickle chips and mustard for dressing) AND steamed broccoli on the side!
I am officially 7.2 lbs from my ultimate goal now (2 lbs away from Virgin Fat Territory lol). I hope I can make it there by the end of this round so I don't have to extend it!

Down 3 lbs this morning so load weight is gone plus 2. My goal now is to just stay on plan until then end of the month and hopefully lose 14 more lbs.
I am having my son's soon to be in-laws over for dinner tonight so I am making pulled pork and pasta salad. I know pork isn't on plan but I will be having some anyway but will skip the pasta. I am also making a veggie tray with cucumbers, celery, and peppers and a fruit tray with strawberries, oranges, and grapes. I will stick to plan as best as possible and enjoy the evening.

Well, day three today of vlc for me. So far I am happy with my losses-almost 3 lbs, 1 of which was load weight gain.
However, the hunger showed up yesterday and it hasn't been pretty. I am changing my drops routine to 6 drops 6 times per day as per the instructions on bottle. That's what it says to do if you are suffering hunger still. It's real hunger that I feel in the stomach.![]() Also feeling some weakness later in the day and like I do not have the energy to do all the things I need to do. Hopefully today will go better. Keep up the good work, everyone. |

(another frustrating thing for me - all the weighing and measuring this entails. I'm doing it but if it's not seeming to get me anywhere substantial then ... )I've lost only 5.5lbs in 9 days. 5.5/9 = .61/day so I suppose I'm in the range. But it's frustrating as I read everyone else's big drops. I'm going to push through today. If I don't see something by tomorrow AM I'm probably going to really consider cutting bait so I would be in a position to go back to low carb this weekend. Going to visit a few other HCG forums as well to see if I can get motivated to push through this dang 5.5 lb plateau. ![]() |
