Please... I need a wise advise!!!

Hello,
I started my loading day one week ago (Jan 1-2), therefore started VLCD (Jan 3) by Jan 6 I lost 6 pounds. Yesterday (Sat 7) TOM arrived and had 2 pounds more. Today just .4 down. So I have lost 4.2 pounds in one week ... this is even less of what I can loose in a first week strictly diet. I did take make measurements when I started and today again and haven't lost any cm, but I do feel I look less "bulky"

Ok, after this brief explanation here my questions... Could this mean I'm not losing the abnormal fat? Now I wonder if the one I'm currently taking is not working as desire. I do lose weight fairly quickly. I'm doing Hhcg I got a cheap one with good reviews (efl nutritions) until the "good" one arrive (hcgtriump). Do I have to start over with the loading days? Should I just switch hcg when it arrive? I feel bad, I'm doing this strictly, following Dr. S protocol to a T and do want the whole hypothalamus reset thing happens to me, so what do you guys thinks?

BTW I'm 28yo, 182pounds, first goal is to lose 30pounds.

Thank you very much,
Lisy

My weight loss always slowed down with TOM and then I had a whoosh of weight loss
In the grand scheme of things, I think the weight loss on hhcg isn't extremely fast, but it is steady and it allowed me to lose all I wanted and more.
So to answer...if you want to switch the hhcg...do...and no, don't reload...just switch. I think 4.2 pounds with TOM is not bad for a week...and like I said, I usually had more than a pound whoosh after the fact

hope this helps

If you lost 4.2 in one week, you should be doing this and not this .

That's a fantastic loss for one week. Especially someone who weighs in the 180's.

Weight loss is not going to be consistent either. It is going to stop for a few days (especially around TOM). Sometimes even a week or more. The people who are successful at weight loss are the patient ones who can stick to protocol even when they're not losing. Because eventually your body will start losing again. It has to.

Think about it: You're only eating 500 calories per day. You HAVE to lose weight. You're doing an amazing job because you're sticking to it.

So be patient. Try to think about something other than weight loss and food for a while. And if I were you I would just switch to your new hcg. I switched from VOX to Intermountain, and never reloaded. It worked for me.

Hope this helps!

ThinLisy, you are doing great. Please do not be discouraged. Are you planning a short or long round? For what it is worth.....Just plan the 23 days and then after that keep going the full long round if you want HOWEVER, do not expect to see the whole 30 pounds in foresight!! By that I mean, just PLUG along day to day. At the END of the round then you will see the whole overall loss. Are you keeping track of your weight losses every day? After several weeks you will be able to track how you did daily. Dr. S says women generally lose .5 to 1.0 pound overall not every day. You will have days when you don't lose anything and in fact, days when you will gain. Do not panic or become discouraged... Just continue to follow protocol eat the 500 calories do not cut down on your food intake as this will just cause you to stall and hang on to the poundage. You will do this and you WILL succeed!!!
In answer, don't reload and just switch to the new drops if you desire.

Stick with it!!! Trust me, it works. I couldn't lose on ANY other diets and even though my pattern was to lose 1-2 lbs, stay the same for 2-3 days and then lose another 1-2 lbs, I stuck with it and ended up losing 30 lbs in 63 days. Had I given up the first time I had a stall, I surely wouldn't be at the weight I am at today! As someone else said, this WILL work if you stick with it. Will you lose as fast as someone else? Maybe not but a loss is a loss. I know on Weight Watchers they got excited if you lost ONE lb a week....and you lost FOUR! Just think about that. Sometimes it helps to look at your weekly average instead of from day to day. And yes, you may be able to lose 4 lbs in the first week of a strict diet but would you continue to lose 4 lbs a week after that?? I know I never did. So good luck and stay with us here--we'll get you through this

It's probably more than likely it's your TOM causing havoc this first week. That's one of the reasons Simeons says to start the protocol after a period. Not everyone decides to do that, and it's ok - it just does make one discouraged to hit that first week and be in TOM-mode.

And yes, switching as soon as you get new hhcg is just fine. I expect you'll see a *whoosh* as soon as TOM is gone.
