Poll time! How do you lose on hCG?
Sparked by another thread, now I'm super curious. What is your pattern like on hCG? Do you have big losses initially (3-7 pounds the first few days) and the losses taper down as you progress? Or are you slow and steady, no big losses but consistent progress each day? Or are you some mix of the two, with both big losses and consistent, pound or so a day progress, for the duration of your time in P2?
Details as to round length and substance used (homeopathic or rX) would also be interesting. How does YOUR protocol loss look? A: Slow and steady B: Start big and taper down C: Big numbers the whole way through

Me? I'm an A, for sure. Slow and steady, no big numbers even right after loading, but I have lost close to a pound a day every day of the protocol, with only a few days of slow loss (TOM) and a few days of slightly more than a pound of progress, balancing them out.
Since I am losing so consistently, I'm doing my rX hCG for a full 40 days, possibly slightly more, depending on how I am feeling. |

D. None of the above. In Round 1, I had 2 pound losses for several days and then hit a plateau for a long while. In Round 2, I had 2 pound losses again for several days. I can't say it's slow and steady since in 5 days, I'd lost about 10 pounds. Some days there are losses. Others not. I guess I'm a hybrid! I'd love big numbers throughout.

My pattern was the same every round--7-10 pounds the first week, 2-3 pound subsequent weeks. (Edited to add that for ME, it made it much more attractive and much easier to do three short rounds than one big, long round!)

I'm a B. First week I lose 10-13 lbs and then weeks 2 and 3 are about 3-4 lbs. each. I anticipate doing another 23 day round this time.
I take Intermountain Pellets and lost 3.6 lbs. loading the first round and gained 3 lbs. for rounds 2 and 3. Round 1 was a breeze and I had little to no hunger. Round 2 (which I restarted twice) was terrible and I couldn't do it anymore and had to stop. Round 3, so far so good. No hunger at all. Strange how it all works. ![]()

B.
I lose my load weight by the first day or 2 of VLCD and then usually see 5 lbs more gone by the end of the week. Week 2 shows 2 to 3 lbs loss. Week 3 and thereafter is a pound or part of a pound per week. I'm not a very large person, but I definitely have abnormal fat, such as my butt. |

Well, I know I am a B on LC, I usually lose pretty well at first then it slows down. Its kinda early for me to tell right now on Hcg, I am on day 5 of phase 2 and have lost 7.5lbs but I have a feeling that's going to slow down. |

my sister and i both tried HCG ..i did awful on it..we did the homepathic..my sister lost almost 100 lbs in less than a year..i battled with hunger the whole time..never could eat 500 cals..then i gave up and gained weight..went back to atkins and exercise and started losing again..i dont know how much weight my sister lost each round..all i know is it worked great for her..i would like to try the pharmaceutical hcg and see if i have a diff experience..i am one of those ppl who always has the last 10 lbs to lose and cannot seem to pull it off..i go from maintaining to gaining and then losing..but i never reach that magic number

my best weight is 145 ..i have a lot of muscle mass..but still my stomach..always my belly is fat unless i suck it in..even at 134 which is my goal..and sometimes my weight..i look FAT..i am starting to wonder if its genetics and can only be fixed with surgery..but is it worth the cost? i have been reading a lot of ppl on the pharmaceutical HCG have had Miraculous Results with Belly Fat Loss..as soon as i can afford it i would like to try it..but i dont know if at that point pounds count as much as the mirror..doctors always comment on me and my sisters and brother at how they cannot believe our scale weight...i am guessing we all look about 20 lbs thinner than what our scale weight reflects ..i havent had a bodyfat percentage done since i was a teen ..but i think it would be worth paying for one once i do the hcg injections..scale can reflect WATER..i had 8 blood transfusions and Gained from 134 to 180 something in TWO DAYS!! scales LIE!! i am super curious to try the shots..so fed up with not being able to get that Perfect Body!! in the world of Perfect Bodies..Hard Work is only half the battle..there is so much Science Involved!!

I'm on my second round and I'll know in three weeks how I lose this time. My first time I lost all the weight I kept off in my first three weeks, then lost maybe a grand total of 5 lbs in the last two after a major stall. I lost rapidly in the first week, and by the second week settled into a pattern of a 1-3 lb loss followed by three days at the same weight. This held very very steady for the round, until I had my period, which resulted in a gain, and from there I only got down 5 lbs from where I was before my period hit.
The last two weeks seemed like a lot of deprivation for little benefit. This is why I think I'd prefer to do three week rounds, since it's in the three weeks that I actually accomplish something. But I don't want to take so much time off between rounds because I had such a bad time stabilizing and I have a lot to lose. I want to lose it all now (a sentiment I'm sure a lot of you can relate to). Why is it that I can gain 15 lbs in a week and a half but getting rid of it takes forever? It's just not fair!

i think my sister did great bc she ate 500-800 calories without fail every day..she told me she is hungry on hcg but its the kind of hunger feeling that she likes..not a nagging kind..but the kind that makes her feel she is losing and happy and in control..so she was in danger of getting so fat that she would be 300 pounds..yet with hcg..she gained Control..she does 3-5 week rounds so far..she would take breaks that were atkins like and during that time lose no weight..but not gain an ounce..she Never exercises..but has a demanding job...this last break for her lasted from the fall till now..at halloween she at candy ..during thanksgiving she ate everything she wanted that day..during Christmas..she ate a week or so of candy..treats and what not ..tons of calories in all forms...she ate whatever she wanted ..she gained 10 lbs..i gained 24!!! wt???!! there is something in this hcg business!!

Fembomb- I am in the same boat as you with gaining and losing the last 10lbs. I lose a bit, maintain then slowly gain to the point I started at. I do think it may be my setpoint but I am determined to change that!!! Only in my first week of vlc, and am slightly rogue, but feel a lil thinner today. I'm not going to weigh yet- I go more by how my clothes fit (I have jeans for every few lbs gained or lost) and seeing the higher number on the scale upsets me.

I was B. I am doing a 23 day protocol right now. The last two I did was going on 3 years ago. I had success and lost more weight on my own. I am doing this round b/c I put some winter holiday pounds on after my last competition. I am impatient and want it off now.

So it seems like the bulk of users lose quickly and then it tapers off to a constant but much lower rate. Interesting! It doesn't seem to matter which type of hCG is used, either. Well that would certainly make shorter rounds make more sense, I can see the appeal! |

Round 1 - homeopathic drops, two types, one with alcohol and one without. Alcohol ones midday, non-alcohol morning and night. 12/12/12. 32 days, 24 pounds. Lost very steadily after the first water weight came off, averaging around 0.7 per day.
Round 2 - homeopathic drop and pellets. Pellets midday, non-alcohol drops morning and night. 12 drops/4 pellets/12 drops. 38 days, 24 pounds. Lost very erratically. Small loss two days, no loss a day, big whoosh. Rinse and repeat Round 3 - pellets only, 4/4/4. On R3VLCD5. Losses so far day 1 - 2.8 (water) day 2 - 0.8 day 3 - 0.5 day 4 - 1.4 |

I have used drops both times. I count my loading weight lost. I gained 4 pounds during R1 loading but only gained 1 pound in R2 loading so the loss is about the same so far! R1 21 Days Week 1 - Lost 10.5 Week 2 - Lost 3.5 Week 3 - Lost 4.5 R2 21 Days Week 1 - Lost 8 Week 2 - Lost 1 thus far (currently on day 2 in week 2) |
