Big Ole Question About Phases 2-3 and Beyond!

Hi All,

So, I've read Simeon's Pounds and Inches cover to cover twice, and I also searched all over the internet for an answer to this question I have and have emerged even more confused than before.

The question is threefold actually and I'm going to try and articulate it as best I can so that maybe the pros can chime in and give some clarification. I only hope I'm not the only dingbat out there who cant figure this out. So here goes:

So if you're supposed to wait a minimum of six weeks between rounds of P2, and P3 only lasts three weeks, what is one supposed to be doing for the remainder of that time? Is one supposed to move on to P4 even if they've not hit goal? (that doesn't sound right to me at all!) Or continue on P3 for longer than 3 weeks--for a total of six or more--in order to prepare for the next round?

Also--are you supposed to load prior to each subsequent P2 round? (I'm thinking the answer to this is "yes").

Anyway, having re-read this, it appears that the biggest question mark is in regards to "down time" and how one is supposed to get to 6 weeks between rounds.

I hope this makes sense! Any info anyone can provide would be appreciated beyond measure!!

Not a stupid question at all!

The 2nd 3 week period is supposed to be P4, which is GRADUALLY testing/adding back a little starch and sugar, keeping in control and your weight stable. Among other things, it allows for skin shrinkage, resting your body from this rigorous program, and lets you practice maintaining. Vital to the long-term success, in my opinion.

YES, you move on to P4 in between rounds. As you notice, the rounds get successively longer as well. I just completed a 6-month wait between R5 and R6.

Yes, you load each time.

By your stats, you don't look like you have much to lose. How many rounds are you going to do?

Just one round would be a dream come true!...I've got around 20 to lose so we'll see. I'm a slow loser, but it looks like HCG might fix all that! And I'm gonna have to be cool with whatever my "setpoint" is, I guess...It's all good!

Congrats on your amazing stats by the way! You look awesome!

Welcome Salamanda! Nice to see another LA girl here (assuming that you are a girl! ). We've got a sporadic SoCal Hcg Girls thread around here somewhere too and are thinking about a meetup. We had a great time on the last one we did in October. Anyway, !

Shelby - Thanks for saying Hi! Yep, I'm a female! And yes! I noticed that y'all have a So. Cal Thread! May I join you even if I'm a bit rogue-y? (I do half and half in my coffee and sometimes sub lc protein shakes for meals). A meet up sounds super cool! I saw your pics and it looked like you all had a great time!

Absolutely DO join us! It's always good to hear how others are doing the program, what works and what doesn't. We don't have any specific plans yet but that will be where we post them if we do!
