So....I'm at work today and I'm wearing a pair of pants that I bought when I weighed in the 240's. I don't want to buy anymore clothes for the winter because it's just a waste of money. My belt broke! So now I have binder clips holding up my huge pants.

heh..."alternative fashion hardware" I can relate to the not wanting to buy the smaller stuff until you're settled. I really strung myself together this summer trying not to buy anything in the middle of my weight loss. It is easier in the summer....I wore basketball shorts a good deal of the time and when I needed to look decent, dresses are easier to keep on when they're too big than pants. I did end up needing to buy a couple of pair of in between size capris for that awkward 'can't wear shorts, can't wear a dress' stuff...and I found cute cargo style capris with a drawstring in addition to the zip/button closure....kind of like paper-bag waist pants. That held me until I was 'done'.

the jeans were bigger in some areas. I was hoping for more of a change though.
I'm down .7 today!!!! This has really gotten me motivated.

excellent loss Tay. Remember that bits of you that your jeans cover aren't all of you...you get smaller all over, so I bet the change is much greater than indicated by the change you notice only in your jeans!

Hello Ladies!!!

Well, I made it through my load and somehow only put on 1.7lbs during my load - and trust me I ate a lot!

But this morning I woke up to an AMAZING first day loss - 3LBS! I almost fell off the scale. In fact I weighted 3 times just to make sure it was right...lol!!

I am now at the weight I was at the end of last round, so any loss going forward is ALL NEW!!! So far, no struggles other than munchies cravings as work (and that has nothing to do with being hungry, and everything to do with avoiding work...)

Here is to a great day for us all!!

Trish

Morning, gang! I've been running like a crazy person, plus had Dave home over the weekend, but I'm back in the saddle again. I'm doing a short round this week and possibly next, since I was never able to get my "Seattle five" back off.

Wishing you all a great day. i need to go back and read posts, but let me at least say CONGRATS TRISH! It's wonderful, isn't it!

I'm off to watch Amy graduate tomorrow. Be gone the week. We're 'adopting' three soldiers whose families can't make the trip to graduation so we will have a fun time with lots of activity and distraction, so I probably won't cry TOO much until she's on the bus to ship out. Have a great one, y'all, see you later!

Hello! Hope ya'all had a good wkend. I'm down .4 today. Not bad considering my bad eating yesterday. Even ate chocolate! Yesterday wt was same as day before (TOM showed up). Still having very bad cramping. When TOM shows up while I'm taking the drops I get cramping out of this world. I take Midol and it effects my losses, but can't go without it.
Have a good day!

Deb- Have fun at the graduation, dont cry too much! Lol. did you see the thread I posted to you in the forum?
Jess- sorry about the Seattle 5 bummer that you're having to do another P2. But that weight will be gone in no time. How short of a round are you planning, are you just going to go until the trip weight is off again?
Trish- Congrats on the stellar start!!!!

I'm gonna try...don't want to embarrass the soldier daughter by getting too weepy and snotty. It may be hard. There are seven Army Values. In her company, one soldier is chosen to represent each value. Amy was chosen to rep Honor, and she will be speaking at graduation. She told me it was going to make me cry so I bought a tube of waterproof mascara today! I'm reallly looking forward to the days we get to spend with her and with her "battles". Merry is decorating star shaped sugar cookies with red, white and blue sprinkles so we'll have something fun and naughty (they aren't allowed any sweets during Basic...but they can have whatever they want with their families ) for those kids when they get in our car.

youtube "army gas chamber bct" Jen and prepare to be grossed out It's training for chemical attacks. They have to go into a room filled with CS gas and continue to follow orders, and get themselves out without freaking or refusing to do what they're told to do. It's the first week of training when they do it. It is harmless but it burns like a you know what. Tears and snot all over the place is universal.

Hello Ladies!!

Thanks for all the kind words!!! Today was another GREAT day on the scale - down another 2 pounds!!! I'm soooo incredibly excited! Just remind me of these days when it slows down -as I know it will.

As if the past two days couldn't be better, I have to toot my own horn!! I got into a SMALLER bra!!! I am big chested, so that is NO small feat, trust me!! I also got into a smaller pair of pants this morning as well.

And, the best part, I got asked out on a date last night!!!! Many of you know that my boyfriend and I split right after Thanksgiving - in the middle of a 40 day round, which was super hard!! But, it was for the best. I just feel so excited and blessed today! The future looks sooo bright!

Here is to all of us having another great day!

Trish

That is SOOO great you are able to go and be there not only for daughter, but your new "family" as well! My parents and I adopted so many soldiers at various times of my sisters 8 years in the Army. I still keep in touch with a few of them to this day! You will all have an amazing time and I am sure that there will be tears, but they are just from your busting at the seams from pride and admiration of your child!!

Enjoy your time and safe travels!!! Let them know we are all thinking and sending them our prayers!

Trish, I'm so happy for you! So are you GOING on that date, hmmm? Enquiring minds want to know!

I am doing well--almost back to where I was when I left for my Seattle trip.

I took care of a little "business" this morning (no, this is NOT a Bernice reference, haha) and changed my avatar and profile pix, updated my stats to current, and ordered a new bottle of pellets to store away for the future. I'll just feel more secure having them there.

Wishing everyone a great day!

Well today has been yet another good one on the scale. Down 1.6lbs! I am estatic and over the moon! I was looking at the chart I keep and I have actually done better this round vs R1 so far! Here is hoping that by the end of the weekend I am in another Century!

Here to hoping everyone has a great day and great releases!

I'm done with taking hHCG. I am so tired (literally) and my BP is dropping low. So time to go on my own for a while. I still have 2 full bottles just in case.
