Diva - What a beautiful picture of you and your husband!

Jen - sorry you're having issues the past couple of days. It's so hard to see the scale stay the same or go up when you know you're doing everything you're supposed to. Hopefully you'll have a big drop tomorrow from the apple day.

Hi Layla...I hope you had a wonderful vacation!

Hi Sass, Jess, Mini, Tay and everyone else.

I'm doing pretty well. My losses have definitely slowed down. I've been 100% on protocol and really wanted to hit the 100's before the round is over. I'm on VLCD15 so I don't know if I can make it. I think more than 5 lbs. is expecting too much by Saturday morning and I'm really not sure I want to extend it. We shall see what happens.

Woohoo! Woke up to a 1.2 loss today. That was a good way to start the day.

Down a total of 16.2 this round and a total of -38.2 lbs. since starting last July. I haven't been at this weight since high school...many, many, many years ago.

Have a great day everyone!

Thanks Diva. Patience isn't my strong point so getting that big loss today makes me stay strong after a few days of zero and .2 losses.

Been thinking about you a lot Tay. Have you heard from your son? We go down next week for Amy's graduation and shipping out for AIT.

He started basic officially friday and there was no call over the weekend. So we are hoping to hear from him this coming weekend. I'm missing him so much. It gets lonely without him. Since his basic and AIT are right ater eachother at Benning we aren't going down til after jump school (AIT). Maybe he can leave with us. He'll get 2 wks then go back for Ranger school. Thats even tougher than jump school.
I know you're excited to see her graduate. Not everyone can do what our kids are doing. They are so awesome and they make us proud.

Indeed. Amy will do jump school and air assault school as well, but not until after her EOD training. EOD is the longest AIT in all of the services so she won't finish that until around October. (then jump school and air assault) and the last letter I got from her tells me that she is qualified for, and intends to volunteer for CST when she graduates from her AIT. That is the brand new female branch of Army Special Forces. She stands a very good chance of being accepted for that, given her very high performance level physically, and her MOS. So...I expect she will train even longer than originally planned. The CST training would be after finishing her AIT and both jump schools. She'd be ready for about anything at that point, I guess. I hope you get a call next weekend. That helps me a lot, just to hear her voice. I kind of live for Sunday afternoons

Wow! Thats great! She can do it. I tell my kids to push themselves bc you dont know what you're capable of unless you try.
I got 4 letters from Shawn yesterday! I also finally got his address. So this a.m. I'm mailing this 5 pg, front & back, letter. Since he left I've been writing to him every day. I told him what I was doing and he laughed. He's still alittle home sick. He misses his own bed , his dad's cooking, and watching movies with him. He says over and over he just wants to make us proud & boy are we!!!
ok.....weight today is down .1 but weighed 3 hrs too soon. I couldn't sleep and wanted my morning hot tea so I hit the scale. Its amazing I lost anything when I ate nonstop yesterday. I was so hungry and just couldn't get full or satisfied. I started a new bottle of drops so maybe that was the issue. Idk! I was at the end of my last bottle and just was getting very hungry.
I'll be back later!

YAY for your letters! I often get them in chunks like that too...got two yesterday, I guess it's because of the holiday on Monday. All his 'battles' will know who you are when you see him next if you write all the time. I sometimes run out of family/personal stuff to talk about, so I send Amy little puzzles, games, jokes, sports scores, stuff her friends have posted on Facebook, political and world events, AND...the biggest hit of all: Updates on her TV shows. I just cut and paste episode summaries from IMDB into my daily letters. Apparently those letters draw crowds! hah. Especially the Pretty Little Liars update...the entire floor of women gather around while Amy reads each week's episode. It's hilarious and so fun to hear about. When we picked her up for Christmas exodus, the girls came up to thank me for my letters to my own kid? I guess they were almost as fun for the other soldiers as they were for my daughter. Mail really makes their time in BCT easier. I applaud your daily letters...it was the best decision I ever made to do that. It isn't always easy to come up with something to send...but it's a heckuva lot easier than what our kids are doing that day, huh? So...on with it Good for you! She has also enjoyed getting photos and I did mail her a couple of packages. Wait for him to ask for that, but it's ok as long as it's not something they can't have (goodies). I mailed her a package about half way through with more shampoo, deodorant, female stuff (the PX didn't carry the brand she likes), cough drops (Halls, the blue kind...they're not for coughs in basic training...they're like money ...they can't have candy, but they can have those blue cough drops, so they're like currency!) stamps, envelopes, etc.

Good deal on the little drop...if you weighed that early, it almost certainly would have been at least another pound lower. THat's the way it works for me anyway.

Hello From the Carb Zone

Hello Ladies and any Gentlemen,

I took December off and spent a lot of the time packing on as much weight as a pig being primed for slaughter. Can someone gain a pound a day?

YES, I can!!!

I loaded and have tried to stick with P2 but I'm not doing well on my own and I decided that this was IT!!! No more messing around time is wasting and I,ve got to get serious, so I'd thought I would check in and hold myself a bit more accountable, so I'm posting, weighing daily, and have already portioned out my food. I'm hoping P2 will work for me again, and though I dread it, it is the only way to weigh less! There is no other shortcut, or some easy little tweak. I'm putting on my big girl pants, and they're. bit tight, but I'm gonna WEAR them!

Great to see so many familiar names still on the boards!

Gratz Pattie - So happy for you.

Will go back and catch up personals.

Ran out of pellets and waiting for the drops to come in. Last dose was on 1/16 so if drops aren't in the mail today I'm going to P3. The little loss blip down to 164 came right back up to 167. I'm at 166 today so net loss for this 21-day round when compared to LDW for prior round is 2 pounds. I have got to think that the pellets were no good. Well, at least I lost my Christmas and loading weight. I'm going to try to stick with 1,000 calories, very low carbs until I get ready for round 4. Man, I thought Round 2 was a bust cause I only lost like 15 pounds. Don't get me wrong. I still believe in HCG, I just wonder what was wrong with me, the pellets, my body (the new hormones), whatever this round. Still didn't hurt to try - good discipline in learning to eat right and all. REally, I should be eating mostly some meat and low carb vegetables for the rest of my life. I know my 50 year old body and that's what it takes to not gain constantly. I was doing a real clean round too, but kinda strayed when I stalled for so long (big cheat = dry as a bone popcorn).

Deb, your photo with your hubby looks fabulous. You are a knockout my dear!!! Congrats on keeping it off. That, as we all know, is the hardest part!!! Hearing about the reshaping is encouraging, too.

oh thank you, Sass! I'm amazed at the ease with which my old body maintains now. If I ate the way I eat now before HCG, I gained. I do feel that the 'reset' is real. THere is just no other explanation. My body now treats food like it did when I had a young, healthy metabolism. The reshaping thing is nutty! I have weighed the same for several months now but my clothes fit really differently. I am trying to just get by with tightening my belt on my jeans...I don't really want to buy new ones (because I just did). If I make these work until spring, then I'll wear mostly shorts and skirts during the summer and buy new jeans next fall.

Hello Ladies!!

I am backkkk!!!! I am getting ready to start loading for round 2 tomorrow!

Been absent the past month nursing a broken foot and traveling for work - not a good combo, I can assure you! Overall, I am pretty proud of myself - I only put on 4lbs since ending the last round. I dont' think under normal circumstances I would be happy with that, but considering the foot, holidays, and work travels, I will take it!

Trying to decide if I should go with a 21 day round or go for 40. Anything thoughts? I am doing shots.

Can't wait to get started again!!! Miss talking with everyone. Hope all of you are doing well!

Trish

Hi girls, nice to see you all keeping things red hot around the board
I have decided to do somthing new and totally rogue as far as my rounds and I hope its not going to be a huge mistake. Im going to do 10-14 days ofP2 and then 3 weeks P3, then back to P2 for another 10-14 days. It seems like I just do not lose anything after that time anymore, and Im just so frustrated with starving with no losses and or gains. I dont know if this will be the answer or not but Im willing to at least try it to see what happens. I went to P3 yesterday and then came down with a horrible flu last night so I havent been able to eat much of anything. Hoping its almost over now.

I will keep posting and let you all know how this experiment goes. I am determined to lose 20 more lbs come hell or highwater so if this doesnt work the way Im hoping, then I'll go back to protocol.

ok, so we got back to town and the temperature started dropping...then the blizzard hit lol. work was shut down for *snow day* and the WIND!!! blew shingles off of every house on the block. what a welcome back, sigh...back to winter!

we had an amazing time, not lots of action, more relaxing and the food!! and the drinks lol. much fun had on my end i must say.

i was back at work today and it was tough as i am so out of work mode. at least only one more day until the weekend and i can have a little more time to get my head in the game.

scale was not too traumatic. i did gain some but from the sheer amount i was eating and drinking, i thought it would be much worse. since this last month has been one big load, i was planning on getting going for round three on monday. i think i am feeling ready. just need the weather to cooperate, the stores are pretty bare as the plane did not land during the blizzard. provided i can get some of the right foods, i will start.

i want to keep going on this round until i am done so i want to make sure my head is in the game.

will check back soon

Hi Jen. I have actually thought about this myself but everybody says that you need to do the minimum of 21 days. I'm curious how you make out with it. I'll be watching.

My second and third weeks are horrible too and that railroaded me on my last attempts on R2. I've been sticking it out this round just out of sheer determination that I can do it again. But I do know exactly how you feel about it. There was a post recently about someone trying short rounds but don't know if they've tried/posted about it.

I hope you feel better soon too.

I've also been reading a lot about the JUDDD plan. Maybe something like that plan would be good for you? I'm thinking of trying it after my P3/P4. I only have two more dosing days and then can go to P3 on Tuesday.

the drops arrived.... I think I will reload tomorrow before going back to vlcds. I've been out of Hcg since monday. I did finish the 21 days, but I think I will reload tomorrow and go another 21. Hope these drops are good - I think last batch of pellets was bad. Any advice appreciated.

Mine were prescription drops...and my Dr said "at least a minute" so I always held them under my tongue for two minutes. Just because I'm that way

I wish my ex-boyfriend could see me now... He left when I was at my heaviest. We all know it was probably for some other reason, but part of me thinks it was because I got so big. Wish he would have given me a chance, but the fact that he didn't proves he was wrong one for me anyway.

I have new, taller boyfriend anyway. Ha!
