Lowest weights you ever got to with HCG.

Wondering what's everyone's lowest weights they ever got to. I'm 5' 7" and wanted to get down to 121 (now 132.8). I drop about .5 a day on average, but it has been slowing down...and was wondering if 121 is too little weight and I won't get there with HCG.

(F.Y.I. I was 115 when I was in college, but I think I looked way too thin then...)

I have gotten all the way to goal and then some with hcg. I have gotten as low as 113.4. My losses did not slow down as I got closer to goal so I thought that 115 was not too low for me and my frame. I know that my current weight is good enough for someone else with my height, so we all feel differently about our own weight. You will have to determine what weight is best for you, not us. You know you best!!!

I got down to 102 about this time last year (I am short and small framed) -- I'm shooting to go a bit lower than that this time -- I think I would be at an optimal weight somewhere between 95-100 -- thin, but not too much so.

I've had to fight hard to get these last pounds off, but I am sure I can do it.

Simeons says that hcg will stop working when you have no more abnormal fat to lose -- I have yet to see that happen with my body, so I am assuming there's still more to lose.

That said, I am not going to go lower than 95 as my ldw -- I don't want to be too thin for my frame.

I just ran your stats through a BMI calculator -- at 5'7", 121 will put you at a BMI of 18.9, which is the low end of the recommended healthy range.

I don't place a lot of faith in charts, but BMI is a fairly good ballpark guide if you really aren't sure where you want to land...

If I go as low as 95, that will put me at a BMI of 18.5 -- the lowest "healthy" number for my height ... and I think somewhere within a 5 lbs range of that is right for me, personally.

I'm hoping to get to 95- 100, I am 5'0 and small boned. Right now I am 109. Ironically at this weight I can pretty much eat/drink whatever I want but clothes don't fit right and I really look best around 100. I'd like to have a window of a few pounds because my weight does fluctuate wildly mid cycle and during TOM.

You and me both, Luna -- and boy are these last 6 (or more) lbs refusing to budge! BUT... I am tougher than they are, darn it, and they WILL come off!

I actually think I'd rather be at 95 as a holding weight -- but I will determine that as I get closer.

Yes, Mini, we have to be tough! We just have to keep at it! I want to be done with going up and down 5-10 lbs and just maintain! From your posts I see you eat more fat than is usually recommended on protocol (yea rogue!). Are you still taking drops/pellets? I'm taking pellets and trying to keep the fat very low, but combined with hardly any carbs it's putting me in a rotten mood! Today is vlcd2 so I am going to keep at it for a week or so...but then if I could add in, say a tbsp of peanut or almond butter in my yogurt it would be heaven My body seems to do well with very low carbs but fat is satisfying.

Luna -- I've done very well with about 1000 calories of mostly fat, almost no carbs, and the hhcg. But, I am in a stall now -- so unless I see a drop tomorrow, it is back to the low calorie, low fat wagon for me I will up the carbs a little while doing that (probably 1 fruit a day, and some veggies)

I get seriously cranky on a low fat/low cal diet -- but if that is what it takes to get be to goal, I will do it.

I'm happy as a clam on a low, low carb/moderate calorie diet... but it doesn't get me to goal. I am hoping I can maintain well that way, though.

Mini- on 1000 calories I could maintain I've been low carb (less than 60 g/day) for a year; xmas day 2010 I was 99 lbs, and I have gained on that...small portions too. I was drinking wine too so maybe it was that but I can't see never having wine again. I've messed up my metabolism from years of dieting (starving) and ED when I was younger. I don't get much exercise because I work FT and have 2 kids (and a husband lolol). Plus I am 38 and things start to go downhill from here, so I have to nip this in the bud!

Luna -- I hear you -- I am 44, and definitely dealing with some hormonal wackiness. I also had an ED when I was younger, but that was a long time ago -- definitely did a number on my metabolism for a long time, but I think it has been repaired now.

I don't have kids, and I am pretty active (I walk a lot, and just started working out again -- I had taken a break while being on p2, but generally do work out).

But...I worry about the potential for metabolic damage from long term, low calorie dieting -- I've been on some version of p2 since August, and I don't want to end up maintaining at 1000 calories if I can avoid it. Part of the reason I haven't gone the protocol route is that I felt like it was tanking my metabolism badly the first round I did.

I did give up alcohol for the most part, and I don't miss it -- I'm happy to save it for very rare occasions.

Luna -- I see you eat yogurt on protocol, meaning you are rogue --- would you be interested in posting over on the "rogues and alternatives" thread? I post there every day.

There are a few of us in similar situations --

I've been lurking on the rogue forum...will start posting. I haven't had yogurt yet, but plain fage or chobani with a blob of natural nutbutter is one of my favorite breakfasts and it keeps me satisfied til lunch...unlike eggwhites. Ate a 'rogue' dinner of kale and baked cod with tomatoes. End of vlcd2 and have a pounding headache....again.

Yay!! Come on over, Luna -- it'll be nice to have another person with a similar body type and goal weight!
