Nichole - thanks (lol?) for the recipe! I copied it and emailed it to myself. Not really sure that I would trust myself around a plate of scones (I lived in England for a year and got totally ADDICTED to high tea) but I will maybe keep them for a special occasion. Thanks again! Sorry you STS today but here's hoping for a nice drop tomorrow.

Hi DP! Welcome to the dark side over from rogue land. We're here for ya! KUTGW!

msgirl - WTG on keeping to plan eating out! When the going gets tough, think about how strong you were this week. Sometimes that helps me when the scale isn't being my friend!

Christi & moonriver - enjoy P3! I know we are ALL thinking about it!

catkin - Looks like it is going pretty well, my old friend! Weren't we right here this time last year???

Natasha & Jeanette - look at you GO girls! Great work this week!!! And some NICE numbers to back it up!

CdnGirl, Tricia, Peppermint, dbunny, Majerus, C'Marie, ArcticMama, ladyathome, Sunny7, bflogirl - whew! I think that is everyone! How did everyone's Saturday go?

Anyone I missed (sorry to suck at personals!) keep up the good work on plan and be strong! YOU CAN DO THIS!!!

~~~~~
Well I'm not sure if it was the extra exercise yesterday, finally getting over this stupid cold (for the most part), super excellent OP food (oh beef and cabbage, how I you!), or what exactly, but I got another excellent whooshie this morning of 1.7. I am in, if not VFT, at least RARE FT. Half a pound away from true VFT so I am keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow. When I see the 140's again, then I will be truly on my way! A pound and a half to go to see that magical "4" on the scale. I haven't been in that decade in, well, about a decade! And I haven't seen a new decade since April so this will be fun and exciting!
On the off-chance that it WAS the exercise...off to hit the Treadclimber again this morning!
Shelby, how freaking exciting for you!! I really hope you hit the 140's tomorrow!! I'm hoping to hit the 160's in a couple days. For me, that is huge. As an adult, the only time I hit 160 was the week my mom died, and then I bounced right back up after that. So this is exciting territory!! I would be perfectly happy to end this round in the lower 160's.
I lowered my dose, and my hunger level is perfect. I'm feeling good.
I ♥ HCG! DOwn 1 more pound for a total of 14 since Monday. I always get confused as how I should count my days, so I go from Monday to Monday and do official weigh ins for the week and measurements as well. So that means it is possible to lose more before my weekly weigh in
Hope everyone has a fantastic, OP day!
Wow, 14 pounds in less than a week is incredible. Congratulations!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~

OK, so I had a bit of a rough day stemming from the fact that I hadn't had the time to stock up for P2 prior to starting. Not having the right food on hand is of course always the problem for me on this plan, and I should know better.

So, while I managed up until dinner time, I then became insanely hungry and ate off plan a bit, although still low carb, but certainly way more than 500 calories for the day. That said, I finally got to the grocery store after this so this will not happen again.

However, I figure that I could just treat it as an additional loading day and then start completely on protocol today. In the end, I dropped 2 pounds yesterday despite going off plan, so I am pretty happy with that all considering, and now have the right food on hand to be successful today.

Off to make my first real meal of the day now. Good luck everyone and congratulations on staying on plan and your awesome losses. KUTGW!

I am down .6 after VLCday 5, total of 8.4 so far - today is Day 6 and I am hoping the hunger is better. I didn't wake up with it gnawing at me, just "talking" to me a bit.... hope that's a good sign. So far I am done with the load weight and almost all of the "holiday" weight. Now just a couple more pounds and I'll be down to the quick hormone gain weight ----- Sheesh it sucks to be losing the same poundage I lost on round 5. But at least it's do-able, right!? ONWARD!

I am really going to push the water today! Tea Tea and more Tea - as it's cold here and I'm cold inside the house probably more to do with the diet than anything but my furnace keeps kicking on so I know it's not just *me* LOL.

Late check in as I've been busy this weekend.

Down another pound today to 170.5 Hoping to continue at this rate (or increase) and that I will see better losses this week. It's 3:15p here and all I've had is an apple and black coffee so far. Cooking some tilapia per the recipe on that other thread (had it yesterday too and it was delish) and having some lettuce with ACV and a splash of Walden's.

Happy HCG'ing everyone!

I keep forgetting to update this thread with my losses. My losses so far this week have been (Days 1-6): -2, -1, 0, -1.6, -.4, and -3 pounds so I'm down 8 pounds in 6 days!

I wish I could say that! I am still waiting... VLCD 7 for me and still struggling with the hunger. Guess it might be time to up the drops?
I am also up 2 lbs but I did have several drinks (vodka and diet coke) the other night? I have been strict protocol besides that but I guess no drinking for me.
Has anyone ever used two different HHCG drops at the same time? What I mean is, I have drops from two different companies and I wanted to keep one bottle at home and one at work.
Sounds like everyone has been having great success and I hope it continues on for next week. I am already counting the days to P3!

I'm checking in.
Day 1 = -1
Day 2 = -.6
Day 3 = -1
Day 4 = -1.2
Day 5 = +.2
Day 6 = -.6
Day 7 = +.4

I'm happy for the loss, but surprised to only have lost 3.8 in a week. My husband is doing this with me and has lost 3lbs every day - except for one day was a 0.

I'm also terribly bored with the food choices. I've pretty much been having strawberries for breakfast, chicken on spinach leaves for lunch, chicken on lettuce leaves for dinner and an apple for a bedtime snack.

Surprisingly, I'm not hungry. Just bored & wishing for more interesting choices.

HelloKitty,

Have you looked at some of the recipes here? I'm always trying something new. I get bored easily. However, I eat the same lunch every weekday, and vary on the weekends. Every night dinner is some recipe I've looked up.

One of my favorites is "French Onion Soup." I made it yesterday for the first time, fell in love with it and had it again today. There is a recipe online, but here's my version:

French Onion Soup (1 Serving)
1 onion (I used a yellow onion) Sliced thin
1 T. white sugar substitute (I use Ideal brand)
2 tsp. liquid smoke
butter spray
2 cups of beef broth
1/2 cup of water
1 melba toast
seasoning to taste (I use more onion powder, garlic powder and steak pepper)

Carmelize your onion in the butter spray, liquid smoke, seasonings and using the beef broth as needed (stir often, do not allow it to burn). If you cook it 20-30 minutes it will develop a nutty sweetness. Add the sugar substitute after 15 minutes of cooking. Continue cooking until well carmelized.

Add remaining beef broth and half a cup of water. Bring to boil. Serve immediately with 1 crushed melba toast sprinkled over the top.

It's a great way to have a veggie, but use a lower calorie meat because it's 65 calories. Or you could use half an onion to decrease the onion calories by half.

I used 2 different brands of HHCG at the same time and it didn't hurt. Keeping a bottle at work is so much more convenient. I don't know about upping the drops, but there are so many knowledgable ladies here I'm sure they can advise you! Good luck
