Helloo girls ( and any boys!!). I'm almost back to ldw from prior round. I've been in R3P2 since 12/26. Yesterday I had to have my cabbage and black eyed peas because when I blow that off I don't have a good money year. Alos shopped online for new clothes woot!!!
Question, I made my vegatables tonite mixed. Has anybody shown for sure that mixing different kinds of vegetables slows the loss? I mean, really, is it that important? Guess I'll find out when I wiegh in the morning. LOL Any feedback on that would be appreicated.

They are tested and tested and tested to work his way. Anyway, the reason behind no mixing is he believes that when you DO mix veggies it slows down the digestion. This is so much more than a low fat, low calorie plan. It is more a detox because you go back to the roots of simple foods. From there you move on to no starch and no sugar and from there regular foods. The whole plan helps you determine what foods you may be sensitive to. Good luck to you!!!

I gained 7.5 lbs loading! I feel like crap. Today was VLC day #1 feeling hungry tonight but I just keep drinking water. Maybe I will have some tea later to fill in the cracks!
I think I went over my strawberry limit today so hopefully the scale will not scream at me too much! I am hoping for a big loss tomorrow. This is R2 and hopefully the last round. I want this extra weight gone for good! |

I'm trying to be strict protocol this time. In R1, I was the perfect hcg'er. I gave up cream, Splenda, stuck to 100 grams of protein, didn't mix vegetables, etc. In my failed attempt at R2, I think it was because I thought I could tweak the plan and do the cream, add in different veggies, a little extra protein. It didn't work for me. It may have just been all mental but I looked back at my food diary for R1 and I'm copying it to a T.
Over the last few weeks I started exercising too. I'm trying to walk for 30 minutes a day. For Christmas, my husband and I gave each other something called a FitBit and it keeps track of calories burned, steps, flights of stairs climbed and other cool stuff and then it tracks it on a website. The FitBit has really given me that push to be more active.

Hi
Hi there!
I'm back for round 5 I started this journey at 200 lbs. in October, 2010 - at the end of my last round - I was at 137 - gained a few over the holidays and am back to try to get to my goal of 130 - I didn't weigh 130 in high school, so I've never been "thin" Today is my last load day - hope you all do well. I was up 5 after my first load day (mostly water). I hate to see the scale tomorrow. I am looking forward to that first whoosh. Good luck! Tricia |

We have three labs at our house- black, yellow & chocolate. The black one is the trouble maker too. We have friends with the same dog configuration- same thing. The black one is the trouble maker too. ![]() So many threads to follow and post on here. It is a good thing for me. The more I read & post, the better I do. ![]() Today is my second loading day. I'll spare ya'll the details, but I focused on fat (there was some sugar in thee too). I am quite full and haven't eaten dinner yet I just took a tri tip off the BBQ and will go have a fatty slice in a bit. I am doing my first VLCD tomorrow and plan on sticking mostly to protocol. I am gluten intolerant so I can't do the grissino or melba, but I got some 100 cal bags of popcorn and portioned out some bags of rice crackers. I have a question about the timing of meals, but I think I'll start a new thread so I get maximum answering possibility .

May I join you all??
Today was my first VLCD! I finished my load days and was so very happy to move onto healthy eating! I gained right at 2 pounds loading but I am 6 pounds heavier than I was last week at this time! My scale fluctuations make no sense at all! I can eat the same thing sometimes and two days later be 5 pounds less or heavier depending on the mood of my crazy body! Which is why I decided to give hcg a shot. Today has been decent for me - I wasn't hungry until around 3. I did eat totally strict and on plan though for lunch and dinner. I didn't have anything but Yerba Mate for breakfast and have finished over 100 oz of water ![]() ![]() Here's hoping for a whoosh tomorrow! |

Yes, here's hoping for whooshes for all tomorrow!
Tricia -- You are an inspiration! You ARE thin, girl! ![]() I've just finished VLCD1, so I'm hoping for good scale news tomorrow I did well today except around 4:00-5:30 I was really hungry -- but it might very well have been "head hunger" and I look forward to being back at work tomorrow because it's much easier for me to not think about food when I'm insanely busy at work. Aside from that, everything was perfect and pretty easy! I came in at 496 calories per ******, so right on target

Hi everyone! All this posting is going to keep me hopping for sure!
I just finished my second load day and am hoping that the sushi that I had for lunch didn't do TOO much damage! But hey, that's what loading days are all about, right? I was actually down a couple of pounds this morning--losing the bloat from the booze and sugar of Friday and Saturday. Tomorrow is R3P2VLCD1 and my chicken, salad, apples and half a grissini are portioned out for lunch; beef patty is defrosting for dinner with some spinach and strawberries. I am adding the grissini in once a day this round for the first time in the hopes that it will help decrease my wheat sensitivity in P4. A little scared but I can always cut it out if I don't see the losses that I'd like. Anyway, ready to rock this thing! Last pellets for loading were down 15 minutes ago so I'm having my hot tea and getting ready to see the 140's this time next week!!!!! |

Dear Dawn, thanks for the info. I am sure there is reason behind Dr. S's plan as it is. I appreicate the info. I seem to be able to control my rebelliousness a little more if I know the reasons behind rules. Good luck all. I was pretty good today. Made my meals for the week as well.
Oh and by the way, I didn't lose yesterday after mixing the veg so learned my lesson. LOL |

Congrats everyone on the great losses!
May I join you all? I'm on my very first hcg round. I loaded Saturday and Sunday and boy did I ever! So today was my first VLCD. So far, so good. I think I made it thru. It is 11:30pm here now. Only fleeting moments of hunger today. Hope that it continues! Looking forward to weighing tomorrow. A fairly accurate surmise would be that I gained about 2# from loading,(hadn't weighed for a few days prior) but I've been wayyyyy off any kind of plan for months now and packed 15# back on over the holidays. Seriously. ![]() That said, I knew exactly what I was doing. And I know that I didn't like the way I felt, either. Glad to be back on the wagon! Starting here at exactly 130.0 Wishing you all great whooshies for 2012! Last edited by salamanda; 01-02-2012 at 11:27 PM.. |

Good Morning all.
Yesterday was my first VLCD and this morning I am down 3.8# Feels great!! I know it is all fluid, but I have been so swollen that it was great to wake up and be able to get my shoes on comfortably. And to be able to bend my fingers. Now to sustain the loss. Hope everyone has a wonderfully losing day today. Anne |

Hi everyone! I'm on my first round, using pellets and today is vlcd1. I have about 10 to lose so I am expecting it to go slowly. When does the hunger go away? Am I supposed to 'feel' anything from the hhcg?

VLCD1 today--here we go! 177.6--that means I gained 7 lbs from loading. My body is SO crazy sensitive to sugar and grains!!! My goal is 160 and last round it took me 20 days to drop 15 lbs so I'm hoping I can get there in one, 23 day round.
It's SO weird only having coffee for breakfast after following the Leptin Reset and eating a HUGE breakfast every day. Man I hope I don't have that "gnaw off your own arm" hunger that I had the first week or so in the last round! ![]()
