Nice loss torister!!

Hmmm, I was thinking of doing an interruption instead of ending this round as well. How do you get started again? I would be a week off HCG, so after I start dosing again, do I eat P3 the first day or 2 or do you jump right back to VLCD the first dose day? Seems like you'd be really hungry.

Today is day 2 of continuing the VLCDs after dosing and I'm down 1.5 lbs. I think I'm not supposed to really count that weight, but after being sick and not losing much this week, I'm still happy to see those new numbers!!

torister, you are doing a great job Congrats on the loss!!

I'm down 1lb today Down 3lbs from my LDW and tomorrow I start P3

I really hate to end this round right when losses seem to have picked back up, but I just remind myself I'm starting again in 6 weeks. Now the real work begins. I really want to make sure I don't regain. I HATE to relose weight!!

Hey there Cindy! I kinda feel the same way....once I get my mind set on accomplishing something it is going to kill me to halt the weight loss for six weeks....but I think we HAVE to! In order for this to work long term and to have success on our next rounds. P3 and P4 is critical. I am just gonna suck it up and plow through it. My biggest concern is to NOT lose any weight on the P3/P4! I know my body and if I am strictly eating low carb my prior experience is pretty substantial weight loss! I really needed the HCG to kick my sugar addiction....but now I am totally addicted to it!

I stayed the same this morning 271.4. I have had massive dental work done today...so I'm thinking all soft foods...soup and baked apple! I'm making chicken broth right now. Maybe egg drop soup for dinner? I swear I could live on eggs! So hopefully tomorrow will show a loss!

Congrats to everyone who has had a loss!

Yikes on the dental work Theresa! I used to lose well on Low Carb, but the last time I tried, I was on it 4 days and lost zero. Scared the heck outta me. I was so thankful to find hcg.

Yes, I'm also determined to make this work. I fully intend to have NO startch or sugar pass these lips before P4 and then, very carefully. I want to see what happens and if things change after HCG.

Heck after VLCDs, Low Carb will be a breeze!!

How much longer for you until P3?

I'll be hoping you get a nice drop on the scale in the morning!

Cindy i am SOOOOO looking foward to p3! I start p3 on march 6th. and yes, after vlc with such a limited menu....low carb will be a feast!

I just took a detox bath! I think I spend more on those than I do groceries! But I like my "me" time! So....I've had light meals today (no chewing for me!) and a ton of water...so I'm praying for a loss! I would LOVE to see 260 by my last vlc day.

Theresa- I'm hoping for a loss for this morning!!

Well, I'm down another 1.5 lbs this morning. That's 4 lbs down since my Last Dose Day. I really think some of that was lost prior since I was sick, but I don't know for sure.

Today is my first my fill P3 day and I'm heading out to meet my BFF for lunch, then to get my first ever pedicure

Congrats on the loss Cindy!!! FIRST pedicure??? You will be addicted! I am...and have had to stop while on p2! But as soon as p3 gets here....look out!

I am SO bummed! I gained a pound this morning! I didn't have ANYTHING I wasn't supposed to yesterday! But, tom is still hanging around, so I'm blaming that!!!

Theresa, it could be TOM, but it's probably the dental work. Any time the perceives "injury" it rushed water to help repair. I bet you're retaining from the dental work.

Hopefully it'll take some fat with it when it goes and you get a big whooosh

Well, after doing a Greek Yogurt correction day Monday, and a "light" day yesterday, I lost only .6 on GY day and then gained higher yet this morning. *sigh* my weight is now 4.6 above LIW. ARG. Doing an egg day today! And then tomorrow will be salad and protein. I've gotta get this back down - and Shelby and I may be doing an additional P2 round here pretty quick, I might count this as an interruption, although I would have to switch to pellets because I just did an Rx round and I would never ever cycle with that product.

Marie, I am so sorry this has become such a struggle. How long will you have to stay in P2 if you go back to it? Do you have any idea why P3 is such a struggle this time?

I suspect it is because I already lost this weight once AND I ended just below where I did before AND the weight I keep popping up to is a very old (years) stuck setpoint. AND I ate way too much CHEESE AND NUTS right out of the gate in P3. Live and learn! No no no no no dairy and no no no no no nuts for me on my next P3 until I am stable!

If I go back to P2 I will commit to a full 23 day round. I would consider it an "interruption" perhaps and follow those rules, so I wouldn't HAVE to do a full short round, but experience has taught me that I need that much time - and if I don't decide to do it quick enough to fit in the 14 day interrupt timeframe then I'm feeling like I can't short the days needed to be a minimum round. I know not everyone agrees about this, but these are my feelings. I have stuck to protocol like glue in the past but using Rx and I'm hoping switching to pellets wouldn't end up with immunity issues coming off an Rx round quickly.

Morning all! Well, I am puzzled...kind of. VLCD16 and I am UP again!! I am up 1.1 lbs today. Not happy. I am having problems with one of my knees and wonder if the ibuprofen I am taking for the inflammation...or the inflammation itself is the problem here. I know I am not happy with the scale....especially since my dosage is perfect this round! No hunger!! Frustrating...and it better start turning around...FAST. Thankful I am doing a short round because I am not happy doing VLCDs and GAINING.

Ugh! I hate that for you!!! The pain and the gain! I am right there with you! I stayed the same for two days, gained a pound and have stayed there for two days!!! grrrr!

I have a little over a week to go and would love to be in the 260s (low end! lol) if at all possible! I don't know if it was the dental work, TOM or what?!?

I had to get a birthday bag together for a coworker and she loves twix....oh em gee it was so tempting...but I prevailed!

Cabbage and chicken for lunch, shrimp and idk what veggie for dinner....maybe radishes??? I'm kinda getting bored! I have had egg drop soup two nights in a row w/ spinach dropped in...LOVE it...comfort food, but I can't eat that every night!

C'Marie, how long has it taken you to stabilize before on p3?

Theresa, my first 2 rounds, P3 and P4 were a breeze. I stabilized perfectly and pretty quickly, up and down some like Dr. S. says but I never even did a single CD.

BUT - and this is a BIG BUT - I didn't know anything before about recipes, low carb style, artificial sweetners, etc etc - so my first 2 rounds I didn't do anything exotic with dairy, or cheese, or cream cheese or nuts or anything - I ate basically P2 ++ for about a week (doubled proteins at lunch and dinner, had eggs for breakfast, plenty of mixed veggies, a little healthy fat) and that is it. I was almost all the way into P4 by the time I really got even into recipes and all that stuff.

Now, it's like I know I *should* be able to have it, all P3 legal, but guess what?! It makes me gain very quickly - cheese, dairy, nuts - just the way it is. I should take my own dang advice and leave that stuff OFF until I am stable in P3.

My egg day only got me down 1 pound. I am going to eat protein and veggies today and drink lots of water and hope for a 2-day effect.

I really hope it goes well for you and you get your loss!!!

I am going to TRY to live as you describe for the first week or two...but I know i will have a HARD time with the cheese! I am looking forward to more meats! I love to grill pork tenderloins and make a sour cream chipotle sauce mmmm! Yummy!

I am having roasted radishes and grilled shrimp for dinner. It is actually another one of my favorite meals....that and celery soup with ground beef!

I am praying that i see a loss tomorrow! I have been stuck since Sunday and the only thing I have seen has been a GAIN of a pound!

I hope you can stabilize in P3 really really easily too, Theresa! If you do what I SAY instead of what I DID then I know you can!

Today I ended up eating at a chinese-grill-type place and I had veggies and beef and shrimp with some soy sauce and a bunch of water (no noodles, rice, or heavy sauces). Tonight I had my eggwhites/strawberries/chocolate "gelato" and avocado and a *very few* pecans/almonds and tea. Hoping for NO gain tomorrow and maybe a loss if I'm lucky.

OK...I am MUCH happier this morning.

VLCD17 and I am DOWN 3.1 lbs. So 0.5 lbs down from Tuesday which is the last loss I had. Its gonna be weird figuring out my losses for this week. I am icing my knee as much as possible and only taking IB in the AM. I need to lose...not gain people! Not going to complain because for the round I am down 27.2 lbs.

I'm hoping! lol...if I canstay away from the cheese and dairy! lol...though I love my almond milk and it has very little of the sugars like regular milk!
That Chinese food sounds GOOD!

That is AWESOME!!! Do you think the ibuprofin causes gains? hhhmmm, interesting. I have had to take some benadryl at times throughout this...but not in a little while.

UGH......I lost a .4 this morning. Now, normally I would be happy with any amount of a loss BUT Sunday/Monday I was 271.4....then Tuesday I gained a pound.....then NOTHING for a loss till today!!! I have been diligent and trying to get in at least 160 oz of water a day...I've been watching my salt (very little brags)...not eating my breads and have only had one orange this week. I only have a week to go and I SO want to be down in the LOW 260s before going into p3! Do ya'll think maybe I am stuck because I am nearing the end of my six week dose? I don't remember this really being a weight I was at for such a long time...maybe a few months or so....but not years or anything?!? I would have guessed my first set point would have been closer to 230-250 mark!

My weight was right back up to my highest before my egg day - I am not overeating, and I'm not eating anything "illegal" for P3 at all. I am just going to keep trying!

Today was a super bad day. I should be facedown in a vat of chocolate with nuts and whipped cream but I'm NOT. Yay!

I am so sorry C'Marie!!! Just remember how far you have come!!! You are an inspiration for us all!

This week has been wretched too!And to top it off.... I woke up this morning from a dream about my ex.....Why can't i get him out of my head???
AND I woke up gaining the meager .4 i lost yesterday!!

APPLE DAY, though they are purely psychological i hear.....ugh! and on a saturday, my slowest day of the week!

** Ok, i'm crazy! I had to "potty" again right after I posted this, so I thought "let me just try". I got BACK on the scale and it actually went down to 271.6...but STILL a week at these numbers...I'm gonna do the apple day! and a long hot detox bath!!!

Ok, slightly happier this morning. I woke up with a 2.4 loss so I am now at 269!!

I was beginning to panic about being stuck in the 270s for p3 & p4! I am going to remain diligent for the next week....March 5th is my last lcd! Kinda cant wait for a bit of variety.....though I am going to try to not go off the list too much! I had a dream about going to go get frozen yogurt. In my dream I was trying to rationalize with myself to not go and do it!

VLCD20 for me and I am down 0.3lbs today. What a weird week. Lots of ups and downs. Looking forward to my break!!

Good Morning all! It is gray, gloomy and raining here! Yuk!

I was VERY happy yesterday and today!! I lost 2.4 yesterday and was down another 2lbs this morning! Woohoo! I am at 267!!!! I have exactly one week till I go into p3, so I am praying really hard to hit 259 by next Tuesday morning!!!

I even had to make fudgey rolo stuffed cookies last night for a bday present for a co worker...OMGEE they smelled SO divine! BUT, I was totally good, didn't even lick my fingers and washed immediately after rolling them up and extra rolos went down the drain!!!

Well Theresa, I bet it was the dental work that had you retaining water. I'm SO happy for you to see than scale moving downward again!!

Marie, I'm glad the at least the climb has stopped. Maybe if you avoid the nuts and cheese, it will come down still.

torister- glad to see the scale dropping for you too. I bet this week will be much better

We had a great time on our anniversary trip. I stayed 100% to P3 foods, not a bite of anything "illegal". My weight is up a bit, but still under my LDW, so I'm happy.

I must confess though. I learned a valuable lesson about myself. On the way home we stopped at a roadside fruit stand and bought some strawberries, my boys some mangos and kiwis. I also picked up a bag of pistachios and some smokehouse almonds. Well, I learned I am not good with portion control with nuts and ate half the bag of pistachios and then had cheese and almonds for dinner. Thank goodness my family was eating them too or I would have cleaned up both bags myself! Never again! I won't be buying them again except maybe in single serve bags when I'm away from home

Hopefully my weight will come down a bit after a day or 2. I'm sure those nuts had plenty of salt.

I've not been getting much water in either. I'll work harder at that tomorrow too.
